I have one without the handle. It’s an awesome mug. It keeps your beverage hot longer than my other mugs. I paid $18 for my on Amazon at Christmas time and it was the best gift to myself ever!

    Some what related:
Does anyone have suggestions on something that you can put food in to keep warm but still seperated? My son has lots of allergies so I always have to pack his food if we go out to a family dinner. I haven’t found anything that I can keep the meal seperated so his meat, veggies and everything else gets thrown together in a thermos. I just try to make him something special so he doesn’t feel left out. Cold sandwiches aren’t appealing when everyone else is getting hot food.

Japanese lunch boxes or bento stackable boxes might do the trick. They are spendy on Amazon around $40.

Do you ever eat at Red Robin (if you have one near you). My friend’s son is allergic to wheat, tree nuts, eggs, sesame seeds, etc. but I have gone with her to Red Robin where she orders everything in a very specific way, then the manager came over to double check and lastly his food was flagged and brought over by the manager. I guess they are known for being allergy friendly.

We haven’t eaten at Red Robin but I’ll keep that in mind! Our son is only 20 months so we are nervous about trusting people we don’t know since he can’t clearly communicate if he starts itching or anything (if something were to be slipped in on accident). Once he is old enough to clearly tell us if he is having a reaction we will venture into letting him try things at a restaurant.
