After forgetting to turn off a tea kettle twice I decided to try this. It seemed expensive but others spoke of its quality. I am very happy with my purchase. It is attractive, easy to fill, and keeps my water nice and hot. It will turn itself off so no worries of forgetting. I have used it regularly and would not hesitate to buy again.
I love tea and have several kinds, so I really appreciate the ability to choose the water temperature based on the type of tea I’m drinking. There’s also a setting for pour over coffee. It’s simple to operate and has a “keep warm” setting. It looks nice on the counter and doesn’t take up much space. Great value – I was astonished at how much other similar products cost.
I own this electric kettle. It is the #1 recommended one from the NY Times’ Wirecutter product evaluation group. This kettle is on about 20 hours/day at my house and has been in constant use for 3 years, with no problems. I paid $99 for it, at the time, although it does go on sale for $79 sometimes. I’ve never seen the price so low as this deal’s.

We have 5.5 years of daily use (usually 2-3 times a day) here and LOVE it. It is great for herbal and green teas and even hot chocolate for the kids since you can be temperature specific and not just boil.
