My printer at home is broken. Am I able to show the coupon on my phone?

    • Jennine

The coupon is also in the walgreens ad. You can pick one up right when you walk in the door they have a basket πŸ™‚

    • CW

The coupon is in the ad in the store front and inside front page

    • Tina

The coupon was in the ad in my newspaper but not in the ad at my local store. Cashier just plugged in the coupon code (3903) from online. It worked perfectly! =D

    • Leslie

I just did and it scanned fine. They had no issues.

  2. Yasmincrz

New to couponing. I thought the coupon excluded items that were on sale.

    • vmm

the first one is purchased at full price so it’ll take off 20% of the first one…but not off the other 2 that are free.

    • tiffany

That’s what I’m thinking. It says Wyandt regularly priced items. This is a sale item, right?

  3. mb

it would take 120 off one the 1st one is full price pretty sure it said u can show on ur phone and that it was in the ad also hth

  4. Angela H.

I have a feeling I wouldn’t be able to get away with this at my Walgreens. If anyone is successful please let me know πŸ™‚

    • JA

Hi! I wasn’t even going to try it, but my cashier had a coupon at the register and scanned it without saying anything. My receipt shows the first one ringing up at $5.99 with a discount of $1.20 and the other two ringing up at 0.00.

  5. sadina

are purex crystals included in this sale?

  6. vmm

this coupon would also be great on the B1G1 50% for huggies!
an extra $2.40 off the entire transaction(cause its 20% off the full price package) that she posted so diapers/pull-ups for under $4!!

  7. Maile

I bought this today and used the 20% off Q no problem!! No limit in my ad either. The Q was in the ad i received in the paper, but not the one in store. I used the Q on my walgreens app, but my cashier also had one she offered to scan for me. Lots of ways to get the store Q!

  8. Suzy

I just went and used it now. The lady at the register told me that i could not use the 20% off either since the detergent was $5.99 on sale. I asked her what the normal price is and that yes, I can use it. She swiped it and it did work. I told her I follow couponing sites and policies so knew it should work.. I hate it when they push back on customers ..

  9. Darcy

Is Purex good? Do your clothes come clean? Thanks!

    • Mia

If your cloths have no stains that it works πŸ™‚ Smells ok but I use it only on color cloths. No so good on toddler messy cloths πŸ˜‰

    • visitor3

I like Purex fine, and the unscented one is nice for my family. For toddler clothes, I add a scoop of Oxiclean powder.

    • Lorie

I have 3 kids (18 months, 4, and 6) and I’ve been using “Purex Plus Oxi and Zout” (bottle) for years and it works great. And I don’t have neat children…

    • Randi

My daughter breaks out when I use Tide so we use Purex now. I can not tell a difference between it & Tide. I spray shout on really bad stains, but I had to do that with tide too πŸ™‚

    • Shawny

works great and does clean stains, my hubby and kids get real dirty at times and cleans them, just use a little more or 2 packs if washing soiled clothes!!

  10. Mel

Worked perfectly for me! Thank you!

  11. Mai

I tried this today and the stupid cashier would not let me use the 20% with my purchase.

    • Sadiq

If they say no, let them know that you are paying full price for the one, which should take off 1.20, the lady at my store tried the same thing until I explained this to her.

  12. Nicole

My Walgreens also wouldn’t let me use it….I told the manager I’m paying full price for the first one so there shouldn’t be a problem but she said if its in the ad the coupon doesn’t apply. I get so tired of these stores trying to find any loophole they can to prevent people from saving money.

  13. Abby

I’m a bit annoyed as I asked my cashier if I could do this and was told if I did, all three detergents would revert to regular price. Will have to try again and pick another cashier to check out with.

    • vmm

just don’t ask….if you buy one other item that’s full price at $1 or more, they’ll take the coupon and it’ll come off the purex also!

  14. Nana

My Wags wouldn’t take the 20% coupon…said it was a sale item πŸ™

    • FlGirl

Same here in FL. She told me it was one SALE so I couldn’t use it. She scanned it and it did nothing. : (

  15. Vmm

Wouldn’t it contradict their own policy if they took it on B1G1 items? Since they no longer accept coupons on them? That’s what my store told me…but I thought that was only on the free item that you couldn’t use coupons????

    • Teri

You are only using the coupon on the item you are paying full price for—you’re not using it on the 2 free items.

      • vmm

i agree but that policy only applies to manufacturer coupons, according to the store anyway. they said it doesnt apply to store sales and since the 20% coupon says not combined with other offers, it shouldnt’ be applied.
for some reason the computer is programmed to allow it for purex but not the other B1G1 items so they said it was a mistake that it covered purex…which as much of a bummer as that is, it makes sense.

  16. Christine

I told the cashier to try it, it is sale item then it will not take off the 20%. She did and it worked.

  17. Claudia

Omg!, I was in the store, I read this post, and then I totally forgot to use it! πŸ™

    • Shirl

Did the same thing. Picked up 12 bottles and paid just a little over $20. I printed the coupon at home then left the durn thing!!!! Ughhhhh!!!

  18. gmccray689

If you are having problems with using the coupon pick up a regular priced item that is cheap( or something you need to get any way ) . I went into walgreens for something completely non related to detergent and saw the deal while in store. If you have another regular priced item they have to scan the coupon and it will come off automatically. So you get 20% off that item and the detergent πŸ™‚

  19. Emily

Kind of off subject, but since walgreens changed their coupon policy about BOGO items, did CVS do the same thing as well or can we use use coupons on BOGO items? Thanks!

  20. LaLa

Can i do the purex deal and the burts bee deal all in one transaction in order to get the 20% off on both?

    • rose

      yes

  21. Marilyn

I went to 3 Walgreens today in NY no deal found no body knows anything employee act like i was saying something crazy “buy one get 2 free no miss”!..

  22. Daniela

It worked for me in California. I couldn’t find the coupon in the ad, but the young cashier scanned it right from my phone. Sweet deal!

    • Lori

Toward the bottom of the coupon it states “not to be combined with any other offers”. Isn’t BOG2 is an offer? I know several are reporting it’s working, but some are not. Thoughts?

      • mel

It means you cannot combine it with another store coupon offer. As an example, let’s say they have a .50 off Purex in the monthly booklet. Well, that would give it a “sale” price of $5.49 and now the % won’t apply.

      • vmm

yes, it is an offer. my store said it was working but its a glitch since it doesnt work for the Huggies that are B1G1 50% or Wags vitamins and batteries that were B1G1…they wouldnt make it work for the others cause they said it shouldn’t work for the purex either since its a store coupon and it says not to be combined with other offers.
        i was bummed.

  23. Traci

    I just used a 1.oo off & the 20% with no problem

  24. Lori

I bought 6 because the shelves were fully stocked and it worked just fine.

    • Amanda

So you can do more than just 1 deal? I bought 3 bottles yesterday and they had a TON in multiple places throughout the store, so I was thinking about going back today and buying 3 or 6 bottles for a friend’s family of 7! The ad doesn’t state a limit, so hopefully it will still ring up right!
