Price matched albertsons ad- buy 5 @ $1.99- got 4 dreyers fruit bars and 1 nestle drum sticks (cashier charged $2.96 in error) Used 4 $1 mq and $6 gift cards= $1 balance and got back $5! Yay!!!!! 👍😃👍😃
And they did confirm with manager to auth albertsons price match 😃

That’s weird bc on TotallyTarget.com, they always mention, “If your store allows coupons on the free item…” I thought it was a store-to-store policy.

When she states that on totally target’s website, she is referring to a manufacture coupon, not a target store coupon…hth
I don’t see this stated in their coupon policy. I know Colin also regularly states deals where you can save more if your Target accepts a coupon on a free item. I think this is a YMMV situation.
Marie, where in the policy does it say that? I’ve read and reread and the only thing they mention is BOGO COUPONS, nothing about using 2 cents off coupons on a BOGO SALE.
They are referring to a manufacture coupon when they say ” if your store allows you to use a coupon on a free item” the register will not accept a target coupon on a free item
more & more Targets are allowed to set some rules others may not, my Target allows a coupon on the free product, also allows up to 4 like target printed coupons in 1 transaction(even though it says 1 per guest) & missed coupon credit if I bring in my coupon & receipt within 7 days of purchase(2 other Targets set their time frame at 3 days),this is nice because more than once a high value coupon cropped up the day after I made my purchase. So u just have to chk your Target & see what their rule is on these issues.
Still no one is saying where in Targets coupon policy does it say you can not use a coupon for the free item. I also read the policy a few times and it states Target accepts one Manufacturer Coupon and one Target Coupon for the same item (unless prohibited by either coupon). Then under that they have added “We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or limit the use of any coupon”. I think no store should be allowed to change the corporate policy. One rule for every store and we will have no problems.

I just printed my coupons. I know they are bad for you but I love mozzarella sticks and I may just have to go check to see if they have them. I only buy them as an occasional treat 🙂
Buying the BOGO $3.09 appetizers, using a $1 target coupon, using the 5% off Cartwheel and my 5% off Target Red Card made these .94 a box with tax!!!! Thanks!!!!

Does anyone know if these coupons reset? I printed 4 of these and used them on Friday/Saturday before I knew they were B1G1 =( I figured 2.09 was a good deal for Mozzarella sticks since my hubby loves them
Cashier would only take one coupon because one of the items was free. I’ve used coupons on free items at the same store without any problem! Frustrating!
