SavingStar: 20% Cash Back on Banana Purchase
SavingStar.com has just released a new offer good for 20% back (up to $2) on your loose Bananas Purchase valid through 7/7/2014. This offer is not valid at Giant Eagle, Big Y, Shurfine, Shursave, Kennie’s, Family Owned Markets, or Stauffers of Kissel Hill stores.
* Note that after you purchase the bananas, the 20% cash back will be deposited into your SavingStar account within 2-22 days depending on the store where you made your purchase; you will also receive an email when the savings post to your account. And remember, once you get $5 in your SavingStar account, you can transfer the savings to your bank, PayPal, or Amazon gift card.
After you purchase your bananas, try these three easy to make summer treats using frozen bananas!
(Thanks, Being Froogal and Couponing 2 Savings!)
Try this SUPERFOOD, super healthy snack (Raw, Vegan):
1 banana sliced
1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
1/2 tablespoon raw, unprocessed cacao nibs
1/2 tablespoon raw hemp seeds
1/2 tablespoon raw dried goji berries
(you may like to add a part of a packet of stevia or monk fruit sweetener or a tiny amount of raw, local honey for a bit of sweetness)
Approx. 206 calories & packed with cancer-fighting antioxidants
I make mine up in the morning to let the flavors meld a bit. Put into an airtight glass container like an airlock & eat on the run anywhere, anytime! Delish!
Thanks for the recipe.
Oh, I wish they would tell us how and when target will start accepting savingstar!! Can’t wait!
How ripe should the bananas be to do these recipes?
Although it is a matter of personal taste, there is evidence that the bananas with some brown spots may be better at fighting cancer. I eat 2 a day, so I eat what I like and try not to let them go to waste (b/c that’s not money saving either) π
Thanks! Just saw an update on SavingStar’s FB: the new stores will be live by mid-July and details on how to redeem offers at those stores will be coming soon.
Yay!!
YAY!
