So excitied about the Dasani sparkling water deal!!
Me too! Awesome price! 🙂
Has anyone been told that you cannot use printable coupons at Walgreens if the coupon is printed on black and white ink rather than color ink? I have never heard of this policy until I went to Walgreens. I do not have a color printer so all of my printable coupons, which have been accepted everywhere else, is black and white only. Also, kind of off topic, I was recently told at Harris Teeter that if a printable couPom does not scan, they will not accept it no matter how legitimate it is. Anyone else have the same experience?
I have never heard about accepting only black and white printed coupons. The only thing that prints in color usually is the picture of the product if there is one. Kroger and Walmart will not accept or push coupons through for me if they do not scan. Most other stores will though. It can be frustrating when you know they are legal/valid.
Geez Louise!! I meant that the other way around. Know I have never heard of only accepting color coupons. Sorry! Been a long day!
It sounds like a rule someone at your Walgreens made up. :/ I use b&w printables all the time. (Although one time, I had 3 people – including a manager – scrutinize them before they finally took them. I had to insist they weren’t photocopies and that I’d printed them off. They mentioned something about some bad coupons going around for a free monitor or something. Since I only had $ off for mouthwash, they finally took them.)
thanks for your responses. I was told that Walgreens started the policy to not accept black and white coupons as of last Dec. I think that I will try a different Walgreens… Really want that RENU deal:)
I was told once by a Wags cashier, that they do not take printable coupons that are not in color. I said well, I have a laser printer, it only uses BLACK ink! Finally the cashier scanned it, but she really scrutinized it, I guess looking for anything to not accept it. I huffed and said if you really want to know if it’s legit, I can go to veri-fi.com on my phone and put that code in and it’ll tell you the time & date I printed it and that it’s legit. She said, well ma’am they had a string of fraud coupons recently, so she was just doing her job. I said well, ma’am I don’t have time to fake a coupon. And if I did, it certainly wouldn’t be for a measly .50 off!!
Haha Mel so true! I don’t have time to fake a coupon and seriously only for $.50!! Glad you stood up to her. Haha made me smile
At My local walmart they also won’t accept coupons if they don’t scan. A mgr was called and said she couldn’t overwrite it and was store policy.
I was at Walgreens the other day getting the starbucks single drinks. My coupon was in color. The girls told me good thing, because we are not taking black and white coupons anymore. That is here in GA.
Yes…had that just happen to me yesterday at Wags, clerk called manager to verify (she checked the different barcode numbers) clerk stated she got in trouble for accepting bad coupons. Also try to terrify by saying that you can get blacklisted at that store, and they had pictures posted of people who have committed fraud at that store, they will know you???….Really like someone stated above, exactly what i told her…I don’t have time for fake coupons, especially for .50 cents???
I suspect the b&w coupon thing is to avoid Xeroxed coupons.
Look forward to your energetic videos — they help us save so much money – 🙂
Yay! Glad to hear it! 🙂
I think there is an ibotta over on the dasani also!
Yes! $1.00 off Dasani Sparkling 12 pack from Ibotta!
Oh SWEET! 🙂 I am adding to the post now.
Is there a limit on the Renu contact saline? I need to stock up at this price. If multiples allowed for purchase should I purchase together or seperate to take advantage of the Register Balance points? TIA 🙂
Just a heads up also P&G rebate out there on Tide spend $30 get $10 back.
Thanks for the reminder… I’ll add.
Thanks for the heads-up video! So fun! I’m already well stocked up on Tide, but I don’t think I can pass up this deal – lol 🙂
You are sure welcome! 🙂
Hey Collin- just letting you know that there is a rebate on Ibotta for Dasani Sparkling water as well, so it will be even cheaper! YAY!!
Thanks much… just added. Super excited! 🙂
My Walgreens accepts B&W coupons all the time. Maybe try another Walgreens nearby.
Hi Collin–did you get your haircut? It looks cute 🙂
I did… chopped it off again. 😉
Does the Dasani taste anything like La Croix Curate? I bought those at Target and we do not like them. The kids like the Aquafina flavor splash, which I thought La Croix would be similar… but blechhhh.
I was wondering the same thing Mel. The La Croix waters are gross.
I picked up the lime Desani at my Weis (.50/12 pk after q and ibotta!) and it pretty much tastes like Polar seltzer if you have had that before. It doesn’t taste like the la Croix curate at all, which I happen to love. hth
I love your videos Collin!
Thank!! 🙂
Love your videos! What brand is the Stevia. I’d love to find one with no aftertaste!
Hi, Susan. She said it’s NuNaturals brand.
Yep… NuNaturals is by far my favorite brand for Stevia 🙂
Where do you buy the Nunaturals? And what is your price point for it? Thanks!
We like the Kal brand, which is what the owner at the health food store recommended years ago. No aftertaste, and just takes a very small amount. I use it along with sugar, and cuts my sugar usage down drastically. No one even noticed. 🙂
Collin did you cut your hair? love your videos.
I did go short again… I have such fine/thin hair so I like to keep it on the short side.
This is off topic.Whats the difference between Sunkist and Sunkist Ten.
Sunkist 10 only has 10 calories
Collin, have you ever tried making your own detergent. I started about a year ago and it is great! Much cheaper, less harsh on clothes and washing machine. I have tried several variations and this is the one recipe that I use and love. 1 cup borax, 1 cup washing soda (if I don’t have any of hand of use regular baking soda), 1/2 bar of soap shredded (I use the small free bars I get at hotels) , 1 cup oxy clean powder, ( I just recently added this because I got a good deal on it and I have to wash lots of softball uniforms. You could omit this if you really want to keep price down), 1/2 cup purex crystals. Mix in a container until well blended. I usually make a triple batch at a time and it is so easy to whip up some more when you are running low. No more buying all of those bulky containers and it is super cheap to make. I use 1 to 2 T. for each load. It won’t get as sudsy as store bought but it is still working hard for you.
Thanks much for passing along! I may just have to give this a try! 🙂
You are such a nut!!!! Thanks for all you do!
p.s. you want to take a little trip up to North Idaho =)
😉
I love your haircut and the color. It looks so cute.
Awwww… thanks! 🙂
Great to see a non-Target video! Thanks for all you do!
You are sure welcome!!
You should do cvs
I know… but we have no CVS locations in the entire state of Idaho. 🙁
Can we get 10,000 pts if we spend $40 worth of tide?
I would LOVE to see a CVS video! I know you said there really isn’t one near your house but it’s one of my favorites (after Target if course!)
Happy to see a non-Target video! Thanks Collin happy 4th!
I have a question about the Tide deal…How can you use those coupons on the tide if they say on the coupon that they are valid for the 40oz bottles or larger, and the sale on the Tide at Walgreens is on the 24oz-32 oz bottles?!
It’s 24 to 32 loads not oz 🙂
Meghan, the 40 oz bottles are the 24 load sized. In the deal it states it is for the 24 or 32 load size bottles, so the coupon will work on any of the 24 load or above sized bottles.
Anyone having luck with the Renu coupon on coupons.com? I’m having trouble getting it…any zip codes that work?
Thanks!!
The Tide coupon says “One Coupon per purchase”…how would that work buying four at once?
Hi Collin – I noticed in your e-mail you use an Apple laptop, Do you use this to print your coupons. I currently have a Dell and I really run through ink and it is not cheap. Curious of what brand printer you use and if you print from laptop.
Thanks!
How many renu bottles can I buy in one transaction and still get 5,000 points for each? Please help.
I got the deal last night!! Yay
Are there any videos since this one? If so, are they in a different location?
