I love Gymboree clothes, but I do not love the way Gymboree as a company works. You can’t use merchandise credit online like a gift card, and they’re the only store I know of who does that. Also, it annoys me that you can’t combine a 20% coupon with Gymbucks. It also stinks that they jack up their prices when it’s Gymbucks redemption time. AND, if they are out of an item, instead of telling you that they put the item in your shopping bag in a different color (I almost ended up with 5 pairs of all grey socks – I had wanted multiple colors but I guess they were out of all but grey). I’ll end my rant now 🙂

Ive had great luck with Kohls jumping bean brand for good everyday play clothes. Affordable and wash great!
Just to add. Jumping beans are great for playwear but size up. they shrink a ton. my 4 yo wears size 6.
i agree i always have that problem with jumping beans too, i almost ordered some yesterday for my little guy but I just couldnt do it not knowing how they would last him or what sizes to get knowing they shrink 🙁

yard sales are probably your best bet, second would be to check Sears — especially with the free SYW rewards points that are available lately, you can get some pretty good deals
thanks, I just moved to a new area, and the neighborhood yard sales here have been soooo disappointing, so not what Im used to! I will check out my SYW account and see whats available! I was able to get a my daughter a bicycle last month for her birthday $30 that was going for $100 on Amazon and other sites!
