I got shampoo and conditioner free at target today using the target mobile coupon ($1 off 2) and the $0.50 off 1 manufacture coupon off the Walmart web site.
So do I have to spend $6.00 after coupons?
I bought two Sauve shampoos $3 each. Had one DG coupon and 2 $1 peelies on each bottle. It didn’t trigger the $2 instant on $6. Guess it has to be $6 after coupons.
I was in a Dollar General today. I looked at the Sauve products and I did not see any sign about getting $2 off when spending $6. I asked the clerk. She knew nothing about it. It was not listed in the store flyer either. I guess I will go back and try it, but wanted to check here to see if anyone has been successful with the $2 off $6 worth of Sauve products…?
My daughter uses the Sauve “clarifying” shampoo. It helps to keep her preteen oily hair in check. This deal, if it works, would be a good savings on that particular shampoo.
The clerk at my Dollar General had not heard of this either, but when I showed her the ad on my phone, she gave it to me any way. Very nice of her!

Today I tried this deal at general dollar. Before I checked out I anticipated it might not automatically go through so I asked the manger about it. She then checked me out herself because I think she too expected a problem. The $2 did not automatically come off even though I had $6 worth of Sauve shampoo. She then took $2 off for me and she also took 2 $1 coupons I had for Sauve. So for just over two dollars I scored 3 bottles of Sauve clarifying shampoo which is the best shampoo for my daughter’s hair) along with one other bottle of a different fragrance. Another plus was that 3 of the bottles I bought were huge…”33% bigger for free!”
Bought 2 lg. suave professional shampoo 3.00 each. Used (2) 1.00 off DG coupon along with (2) 1.00 off manufacturer coupon and the store game me instantly 2.00 off. Total was 35 cents for both!!!
