Oh man, worrying about having the “trendy” clothes & shoes for the school year…I can only imagine the trouble that would cause among students! And they allow gadgets/phones in schools??!

I really hope I can instill individuality in my kids “style”. My 4yo has already had a lesson in just because someone else has shoes you like doesn’t mean you need them too. In high school I wore ripped jeans that were worn out by farm work. My then worst nightmare and now husband yelled out the school bus window ” the 80’s called they want their pants back “. Not two years later the worn out jean look was the hottest trend. To add a little irony the year I started wearing those jeans to school I was interviewed by yearbook for their quotes section ” if you could start a tend what would it be? ” a and I couldn’t think of any thing haha!!
