Did anyone receive their filters. They were only going to give me 1. Which is more than the product costs. This is very frustrating.

    • Melissa

No I am very upset very bad customer Service. Don’t plan on doing deals with Walmart.com again. The price for 1 box is only $1.57 so if the store only will give you one don’t take it!

      • Robin Fox

that’s what my store was going to do til I brought in my email.

    • Kimberly

No, after ordering and reading the comments I emailed them, their reply “We’ve received your concern about the amount of filters that this item has. Let us inform you that this are for 12-Cup size and has 100 of them.”

      • jenn

If you look at the case weight, its 4.8 LBS. Thats a lot o’filters. I havent attempted to pick my order up, but I will be sure to point out the case weight on my order.

        • Katie

I pointed that out to them as well. They kept arguing that the other dimensions listed were correct.

    • Amanda F

When I went to pick them up, they only had 1. I didn’t exactly complain, but politely stated that the order was for 12. The gentleman next to me told me that he would be my witness that I was correct, lol. It helped me that the price I paid (2.5x) was more than the price store. In the end, my store only had 10 in stock and they offered me that for the price of 1 at the store price (1.37)

  2. Swirly pop

No deal. I called after reading all the comments and it’s only 1 package instead of the case. The associate did not know how to issue a refund so said she would try to get someone to help her. Guess I’ll keep calling back until my refund is posted. Geez…the things I do for a bargain. 🙂

  3. Shelby

Unbelievable! Hours later this “mistake” is still on their site. Just another reason why I despise Walmart. They should be obligated to honor all these orders for their mishandling of the situation.

    • Katie

Customer service told me that it is at stores’ discretion whether or not to fill Site-to-Store orders, so in others words, if they don’t like the price you paid, they do not have to give you your merchandise. Never again.

  4. rach

i went to the store and i was only given the 1….so i cancelled the order because there was “nothing they could do.”
if it is still on the site, im going to try it again….

  5. mallory

Store was only going to give me 1 as well…I showed him link and confirmation email so they were grabbing all they can off shelves..so I’ll only be getting around 10 but better than 1

  6. rach

i went to walmart.com again. it is still on their site….but i don’t see the free pick-up option.
pondering if i will pay the 5 bux to have it shipped to my house.

    • Shelby

I was going to do the same thing but ship to home option was not available, at least for my area.

  7. sarah

I, too had the same experience at my WM. They only gave me 1 box (100ct) but upon showing them the link and about 3 associates and a manager standing around talking quietly, I overheard comments like, “No”, “That can’t be right…” However, they cleared the shelf, I left with 7/12 and a note in the receipt saying I picked up that many and can return for the rest at a later date. I was thankful they honored the deal. What I thought would be a quick pick up turned into a coffee filter fiasco 🙂

    • Shelby

      Lucky you!

  8. Patty

I went to my Walmart and it was the same thing… They only wanted to give me one box even though the description was for a whole case. The manager as nice enough to give me a $15 gift card to pay for the only 10 boxes they had in stock since it was clearly an error. Happy he took care of me!

    • Tia

      Awesome, Patty!

  9. Shelby

    Lucky you too!

  10. Shelby

Just spoke with someone from Walmart.com. Blah, blah, blah. She had to look into the situation. Finally came back and said it is an error on their part and could not give an explanation as to why it is still up on the website. She did say some managers are “pig headed” and will not honor your order. Just rack this one up as another YMMV scenario.

  11. Marc Behr (@MarcDBehr)

Well, I bewildered the local WM off with this one. Ordered ‘2’ for store pickup. Got the message that the order was ready. Went to store and they brought out 2 boxes. I showed them the ad and asked for 2 cases and they were baffled. Finally got manager involved, and she said they would honor the price, so off they went to find 22 more boxes. Problem is, they only had 12 in the store (according to the computer) and they could only find the two boxes they brought me… after a few minutes, the manager offered me the only thing she could – I got the 2 boxes, a full refund for what I paid online, PLUS and $30 gift card. Happy with my local WM.. 🙂

    • Tia

      Wow!

    • rebecca

Your WM and manager definitely rank up there with the best CS of all Walmart time! I’m glad they were so accommodating, it almost makes up for the trouble everyone else has had.

  12. Shauna

I emailed CS after not being able to get the 12 count when I went to pick up and this was the reply I got:
We received your inquiry and we apologize for the inconvenience with your item at he store. According to our records the item description is fine. Since this order was placed to be picked up at the store, we suggest you to contact them in order to get the missing part of the order.

    • Shelby

Could you possibly post the part of the email with the response from CS? Maybe this would help us get our case if we show the email response to the managers at the store.
      Thanks!

      • Shauna

The CS reply is after the :

  13. Christy

My local Walmart would not honor the deal. Ordered 2 cases and they brought out 2 boxes. Spoke to 2 managers and showed them the website and the email confirmation plainly stating 2 cases. They told me the amount I paid was for 2 boxes and there’s no way they would sell 2 cases for that price. They told me there’s nothing they could do because it was an error on the website which is not under their control. Told me to call customer service.
Not happy at all! Will not be ordering from Walmart.com again. They should honor the deal, mistake or not. If they posted a price for an item at the store in error they would have to honor it. What’s the difference?!

  14. Marcie

I ordered 2 cases. Went in to pick them up and they brought out two boxes. Showed him a print off of the item description. Customer service rep was very nice. He first spoke to the manager and then took the price of the whole case and divided by 12 to get .19 a box. I ended up buying 5 boxes at that price for a total of $1.06. I am satisfied.

  15. debbielynne

I ordered one case and they came out with the one box as well. The asst. manager took me to the shelf to get eleven more, but they only had one more on the shelf. She substituted another brand, but they still only had eleven total so she gave me a $2 gift card to cover the other one. Ended up paying .36 for 1,100 filters. A little hassle, but worth it.

  16. Suzanne

What a PITA, I sent a friend of mine to pick them up and she came back with the one box. Lesson learned, do it myself…problem is I hate Wal-Mart and never go in there which is why I had her get them because that’s her favorite store. Go figure lol
I will definitely be returning the box for a refund.

  17. TinaH.

I ordered 4 cases.. same as everyone else.. they came out with 4 boxes. One of the guys was an assistant manager and they just shrugged and told me to go up front to customer service. “Let them deal with it”. I was told.

  18. Gary Cameron

I ordered the filters and they only had one box, they better get their act together as I spend close to $400.00 a month there and if they are going to tell me one thing on the internet then stiff me when I go to pick them up I think I’ll find me a more trustworthy store to give my business to.

  19. frannie

I went to pick up mine and got only 1 box. The box of filters was 1.47 in store and I was going to have to pay 2.50 for the same thing ordered on line plus they wouldn’t give me but one box so I canceled my order.

  20. crw

My store refused to honor my online purchase. Argued that it was for 1 box, wrong item, etc. Everything the Ass. Manager could think of, to keep from handing over 12 boxes. I finally asked for a refund. Got home and called WM customer service. Was told it was a WalMart.com mistake and was put in touch with their CS. I was told the store should have honored the sale, right or wrong. the CS gave me a $25 credit on my online account.

  21. Patrcia

I returned mine. It was only a package of 100 and they said it was a dot.com mistake so they wouldn’t honor it.

  22. Katie

I purchased these filters last night and went this morning to Walmart to pick them up. The associate claimed I was wrong, that the order was only for one box of coffee filters. I showed him my order print-out where it clearly stated “case” and also showed him the webpage on my phone, where it states “12 each of 100-count packages.” He told me he would need to get a manager. The manager came over and flat-out told me I was wrong. I showed him the order print-out and the webpage, and again told him that the page clearly stated it was 1,200 coffee filters total. I asked him why I would purchase one box for $2.36 when a box in the store was $1.47? He told me, “I am not GIVING you 12 boxes of coffee filters for that price.” The three employees gathered at the service desk continued to treat me like an idiot and claim I was in the wrong. Another manager told me that the website has a “glitch” which causes many items to list as case quantities instead of singles. They refused to do anything but sell me 12 boxes “at a discount.” I refused and asked to be refunded. I send an e-mail to walmart.com customer service as soon as I got home. I got a pre-canned corporate response stating they “apologize for the misunderstanding,” but did nothing to fix the situation. I am currently sitting on hold waiting for someone to pick up at Walmart customer service. If this is an error on the website, it should be taken down. Judging by the fact that one week and five days ago someone asked on the page “How many pieces of coffee filters does this contain?”, it has been posted for a while. I will update when I actually get to speak to a person!

    • Katie

What a waste of time! Don’t even bother with this! Walmart’s “customer service” told me that this is a pricing error and they are refusing to honor it, even though it has been posted online at this price for at least one week and five days. They asked me to file a formal complaint against the store for how poorly I was treated by their employees. I started doing so, and then was asked to “hold on” and somehow magically got sent to their automated satisfaction survey. I am not a rude person, and I have never in my life called customer service to complain. This has escalated quickly to some serious BS.

      • Katie

Another update, I called CS back after I was disconnected and filed a complaint against the store. They told me that it is at stores’ discretion whether or not they will fill Site-to-Store orders. So basically, you are never guaranteed what you purchased, even though money was exchanged. I will never again use Site-to-Store. Nothing was done to fix the situation, even though in the CS e-mail I was told “we will do our best effort to satisfy our customers.” Very upset. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

        • Tia

No suggestions, but it makes you wonder why stores even bother with corporate policies. At the end of the day, they will always fall back on “it’s up to the store manager’s discretion.”

  23. Anntots

I went to pick-up my order yesterday, and same thing, the store is giving me 1box. I told them that’s not what I ordered online, but their answer is that’s what their system is showing up and they can’t do anything about it (CS and Assistant Manager). I called corporate customer service, and was forwarded to walmart.com CS, and was told that it was a price error on their part. They did not offer anything, and was told to either go to the store to cancel the order and get my refund, or wait 14 days to automatically cancel my order and get refunded. I even told the “supposed to be supervisor” (I’m not sure if she was) that “if it’s an error, then why it’s still showing up in your website.” She answered me that the problem occurred just yesterday, LOL!!! Maybe they’re still waiting for a massive issue, or a lawsuit on a coffee filter, LOL!!! Oh well…lucky for those who got their items, or at least got half of their items. Anyhow, I’m from Nor-Cal, SF Bay Area (Fairfield).

  24. lyn96

Same issue as everyone else. Sucks to be you it was a mistake and we are not going to honor it and we are not going to do anything to make it better. Not even with the assistant manager making you almost cry due to the humiliation he put you through. They don’t care, song and dance about it still being on the web site at 6:19 PM Sat Aug 9.
Walmart is the only Big store in town other than the Military exchange, which will price match but does not do overage. But From now I am going to do everything I can to not step foot inside that store. It’s not just this situation it’s everything about my store they just don’t care CS is really bad. Trying to coupon is a joke they try to make you feel like you are taking money out the cashiers personal bank book

    • Tia

My grandmother recently got me a $100 gift card to Walmart to help with groceries because I have nieces & nephews here for 2 weeks. I had the nerve to be a little upset (on the inside!) for about 5 seconds. I pulled myself together quickly (I am NOT ungrateful) but I was thinking, “why not Target!”

    • Katie

Same here Lyn. They were so rude to me. I never once raised my voice or got rude with them. They said when I filed the complaint that “someone would be in contact.” I won’t hold my breath. I think every single person on here who was duped by this should call and complain. Flood them with calls and force something to happen! I think that Collin has enough loyal followers that we could really make something change.

  25. rebecca

Concord, NC store was the same as everyone else, 1 box and not much help. The two at the counter were like, that’s what it is, take it or leave it. Needless to say, I had a refund issued. I wanted what they advertised, not some hassle that wasn’t worth my time. Why does WM even still have this on their site?!?!?! They obviously have had enough complaints and time. Anyone ordering after this should have it honored since they have had more then enough time to correct their “mistake.”

  26. Katy

They still have this product listed for $2.36 and available for store pick up in my area! Calling customer service was completely useless, so I submitted complaints to the store/corporate and to Walmart.com’s order department. Walmart.com sent an email blaming the store essentially and said I would have to call the store myself to see if they would fulfill the order. I was like wow, thanks a lot for the BS response!

I just got off the phone with the store manager at Walmart. I explained to him the situation of only getting 1 box per case and how it took 20 minutes just to even get someone to help me at the Site to Store counter after multiple associates claimed they’d find someone for me and walked away! He offered me $10 (my choice of cash or gift card) for the hassle (on top of the $10 I’m already waiting for the 4 cases I ordered) so that makes me feel a little better. I’m still never ordering anything ever again from Walmart though, so I opted for the cash ;P

  27. Sam

I went to my local walmart (fenton, mo) to pick up my order and like everyone else they were giving me 2 boxes, not 2 cases. I said that I had ordered 2 cases and showed the associate my phone. She looked at it and then went to talk to the manager. When she came back she told another associate to go get another 22 boxes. Walmart only had 13 boxes so they gave me an IOU for 11 boxes. I was surprised they were honoring the deal after reading some of the comments. Best of luck to anyone still trying to get this deal!

  28. Annette S.

I went to pick up my order and they were only going to give me 2 boxes, not cases. I insisted they look at the website and a manager said it was the dotcom’s problem not his. Very rude customer service. 2nd bad experience this year at walmart.com.

  29. Chris

they finally changed the site. The one I had in my cart is now 14.95. lol About time they addressed it.

    • Kimberly

Lol, bout time. Glad I printed it yesterday and included it in a letter of complaint via snail mail about how upset I am over how they handled it.

  30. Amy H.

After an hour on the phone, the best they would do was offer me a $12 egift card, instead of the product. Very frustrating, as the store told me that only walmart.com could help me, and walmart.com told me only the store could help me. Ugh.

  31. Jo

I am still trying to work this fiasco out. They sent two emails saying to pick up the order and I went to the store (a 20+ minute exercise in futility) to pick it up. After my visit, then they had the gall to cancel my order. The cancellation had the reason as “customer’s remorse.” Seriously, when they did the cancelling? The very nice manager offered to do whatever I could get from calling Customer Service; so I called and they offered me a $12 gift card on 8/16. It’s 12 days later and nothing. And they even had the audacity to send me an email asking me to review the product that they cancelled on me!! So I called back tonight checking on the $12. The very nice young man took my info and is going to call back in 4 hours, as he said they aren’t supposed to promise to send gift cards like I was told before. Gee. Basically their policy is that they can cancel whenever they want, but they would actually have to contact the customer, in my opinion, which never happened in my situation. I’ve lived through multiple surgeries and know this isn’t a big deal in life’s gallery of unhappy events, but golly, I know why now I’m not a Walmart shopper. Sam’s Club yes, Wally World, no-way.
