As far as I can tell, the fine print states that this offer applies to all print books sold and shipped by Amazon.com – not just best sellers.
I have 3 children’s books that are sold and shipped by Amazon LLC and the code won’t work for me.

This code isnt working for me. I have 5 books in my cart, all say sold by Amazon but get “We’re sorry, we weren’t able to save your gift card or promotional code information. Please enter it again or try using another form of payment.” when I try to add the code

Same problem with me too. It worked when I tested it, and then when I went back to my cart 20 minutes later, it gave me that same error message.
THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME THEY DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND THEY WERE FORWARDING IT TO THEIR PROMOTION TEAM. KINDA UPSET ABOUT THIS!

Second Amazon chat was very helpful and they just went ahead and added the $10 promotion to my account after I places the order.
Same happened to me…used BUY3GET20 for 20% off.
Chatting with Amazon they said it’s a 20% discount. The correct code is BUY3GET20
I just was reconnected to 5 agents and the fourth applied the 30% off on his end after I placed my order. Just send them the link of the terms of the code and the link of your cart not applying the code. They will tell you to place your order then apply it for you.
I think they changed it to buy 3 get 20% off. I tried the chat and they applied the 30% off manually
amazon is terrible, they refused to add the code, closed my account, they just do not care
The terms do say ‘while supplies last’ for the code but I am curious whether they had the 20% code the whole time or if it was more of a consolation for those who didnt get the 30%
I just used BUY3GET20 off to get $10 off. This code worked when ordering through my amazon app on my phone but not on my computer.
It does look like they changed it to BUY3GET20 also with the max of $10 off. I just used it on my computer to buy a few cheaper books – saved $4.60
I started looking for books when I thought I would get 30% off, then it went down to 20%, and by the time I made my purchase it was only $10 off, which for me was less than 20%. I emailed their customer service, and they are giving me an additional $20 credit, which makes my order more than 30% off. I am happy with this, and thought maybe some others could do the same.
