Just got back from CVS. The Gold Emblem nuts are on sale B1G1 and there is a $2 EB when you purchase $6 or $4 EB when you purchase $10. The nuts are 8.5oz so better deal than the Blue Diamond nuts on sale at 6oz each. Plus there are tons of yummy flavors in the Gold Emblem brand. 🙂

yep. they rang up B1G1. The EBs didn’t print but the cashier gave me cash. At my CVS there is a sign under the GE nuts describing the EB promo thru 8/31. Good luck!
Didn’t work for me. The nuts did ring up bogo but did not track towards the deal. Cashier said it’s only the new Abound line (green package) that is part of the monthly deal. Exchanged for 2 bags of Abound trail mix and those tracked.
Can i return something i used a coupon with and get the full amount back in a giftcard? My cvs wouldn’t let me get the full amount. I tried looking at their policy but it didn’t mention anything. Is the $10 giftcard still tracking too? They told me it’d still track into this week but the employees have been lying to me lately. It’s so frustrating! 🙁
When I returned something, I got the coupon amount back in a gift card and the money back in cash.
That’s what I thought. But they said no… Does it state anything on the policy?
I have had this problem before. I ended up talking to the manager. I told him your store is still getting the money for it from the coupon. Give it back to me on a GC fine, but to refuse is the same as stealing.
Coupons have no cash value. You are not entitled to make hard cash in your hand because you returned something bought with a coupon. That is not only unethical, but stealing also. Since you did not keep the item, you therefore didn’t use the coupon. You are never supposed to profit from coupons. If you are upset about losing out on the coupon, you should have thought good and hard if that was the best deal for you and if you wanted to use your coupon at that merchant.
And if explaining that does not work I would call corporate. I tell them if I will call corporate. Not an idle threat. But fair is fair.
Of CVS, Walgreens, etc. which do you think has the best deals?
They both have good deals, but IMO, CVS is more user friendly. They don’t have as many “rules” about redeeming rewards/points/coupons. CVS has limits, which is sometimes nice because it means you might get a chance to get the deal… and if you don’t you can get a raincheck at both stores, but CVS’s RC never expire. It probably has a lot to do with the customer service at your particular store as well. In addition, CVS has beauty rewards, % off/$ off coupons via email on a regular basis and sends youa birthday coupon!
For me walgreens is a nightmare I can never get used to the having enough items to cover coupons and RR rule and having to do multiple transactions is a hassle too but CVS is amazing their ECBs are so easy to use and you can combine them with manufacturer q’s and cvs q’s
Hands down CVS IMO. Walgreens changed their coupon policy again this week so it is even harder shopping there now.

Cannot comment about the 12 packs but I bought 3-2 liters of Mtn Dew this morning and it counted it as $6.27 instead of $3 because they are 3/$3 in Ohio. HTH.

Because the RP and printables are both manufacturer coupons.
I would think I could use the RP coupon to buy the shampoo & cond then because I bought the 2 items, I could use the printable to obtain the free item.
I accidentally left a $5 ECB expire on 8/21. Will CVS still take it? Does your store or does it depend on the area?
At one time my CVS accepted them if they had expired within the past week, but about a year ago they stopped accepting any expired ECB’s.
Call your local store manager and ask sometimes you get lucky. If not call customer service to have them reinstate the $5.00 ECB for you. The next time you print at the MCM in store the $5.00 ECB will print. HTH 🙂
I have two CVSs nearby and they both recently changed their policy to accept expired ECBs. Employees at both stores said they looked at the ECBs I had as my money that I earned and didn’t feel it was right to take it away from me if I didn’t use it in time. (Another reason why I love CVS!) I’d check with your store.
My CVS had the Nature Made adult gummies on sale for $8.29 plus they were marked B1G1 free. So I got 2 bottles for $5.29 after $3 off coupon and got back $5 in extra bucks 🙂

I think you lucked out on incorrect signage. The gummies are not part of the bogo sale bc they are part of an ecb deal. The ad even says they are excluded from the bogo offer.
I just tried to print the $2.00 Renu contact solution coupon and all it printed out was SAVE $2.00 on my paper. The rest of the coupon didn’t print 🙁 Anyone else have this issue? I really needed that one, we are almost out of solution and the whole fam wears contacts.
On the Bic razors, our CVS had a 4 pack of men’s (can remember the exact kind right off hand) but they were $4.49 use the $2 coupon, pay $2.49 then $2 ECB made then $.49
Also the inserts had a $8 coupon for Zegrid so that with the $8 ECB makes a great deal (for those who take it regularly).
Is there a limit for the $10 gift card? Last week my receipt said I only had .08 for limit.
When you state the tresemme order should trigger a gift card 29.95 it has to be at 30$ I thought? How would that be able to qualify? Has anyone tried this yet? I would like to try it but I fear that it would give the card because the amount is not accurate. I have tried this before, and if not at the proceeding amount of 30$ not including the taxes it won’t happen.
Most ecb deals print at 98% of the spend amount. So for a $30 spend deal, as long as you spend $29.40 (before store/manuf coupons) that is enough to trigger the ecb. The only time 98% does not apply is when its a “tiered” deal. Which is a deal that is spend This amount OR That amount, like the Gold Emblem deal.
I completed the Tresemme deal tonight and it gave me the $10 gift card.
