HOW DID YOU GET THE COUPONS EARLY?

      • campanita

Some people get their newspaper sooner. I was hoping that some one has an xtra Domino’s pizza coupon that will not be using. I can trade for coupons, have lots of them, like Caprisun, Pringles, Crest, Pantene, Libby’s, AlmondSilk, Olay, TENA and much more. Please email me at lucy_martinez@roadrunner dot com

        • Blanca

Ok thank you i was hoping there was a way i could get the adds quicker

          • Yoko

You can get Saturday extended edition of local newspaper on Saturday which includes Sunday coupons and next week’s ads. I live in Indianapolis.

            • heather

Do you have to subscribe to get the early extended paper or is it at stores?

    • Me

The funny thing about those bars is the store only has 3 in the store on a given week. My mom and I went to deal the at CVS a few weeks ago. They had 6 because there were a few in the acne section and 3 in the normal section, I bought mine, she bought hers. Shelf clearer alert. Duh, also, what makes you think you were the only one who can reads those bars were great. It’s funny because the manager said when the store posted that deal they weren’t sent any extra stock. We live in separate states. But when I am home, we shop together. Of course it’s sold out at the end of the week. Get a rain check. Or plan your shopping trips better. It’s called life. The early bird gets the worm. I don’t use the bars myself, But I needed them for a care package. I don’t feel bad about my decisions. Sometimes shelves are clear not because people are greedy just because there simply isn’t enough stock. And that something you should call your store about and complain.

  2. mich

I don’t think this can be used at walgreens since the value of higher than the price.

    • paula

I agree, I am not going to even try. It seems like their system is all messed up now with all the latest updates. The register did not want to take my $4 coupon for the OFF but would take the $2 for the refills. She had to get it approved with the manager I am limiting my shopping there if at all. Too much hassle!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You both are right… fixing now!!

      • Shae

Actually, the coupon is UP TO $5. It will work at Walgreens. 🙂 There’s a little spot on the coupon where the cashier can put how much the item costs.

  3. Ally

The “stylish” style of Tena pads are on clearance..were $3.99 now .99 cents. The bigger packs are on clearance too. If ur lucky, there was a $1/1 any Tena product coupon in the femenine products aisle. I used 20 coupons and got 20 packs of pads for free..theyre going to be donated! 🙂

    • Stephanie

Where did you see them on clearance?

      • Ally

        Illinois

    • Rose

I hope you left some for those of us who need these Ally. just a couple packs would help me out. i dont need to get 20 to donate.

    • Lisa B.

I agree with Rose, some of us ladies actually use these bladder pads. While it’s great to donate, it’s great to leave some for us who need them and don’t live in an old folks/rehab home yet! Not all seniors can get these donated to us!

      • Shae

Do you live near her? I think it’s a great cause to help out. These are even great for women to use as pads for menstruation. There are women using RAGS and paper towels because they can’t afford pads. Clearance items are first come first served.

        • Ally

Thanks for the comment Shae…and for those who thought I cleared the shelf..there was a giant bin at the front of the store with at least 50 more packs of different kinds of Tena pads on clearance for 75% off. I would never buy 20 packs for myself..they are ALL being donated and I dont feel guilty about giving them to someone who needs them.

          • Ohiogirl

Ally- maybe I missed this, but what store was this? Target, CVS, walgreens? My MIL uses these and I’d like to grab her a few. Thanks

            • steph

Most people won’t agree and will bash me but I wonder how many people who got these for free or made money(at Target) actually use the product? That is what makes me mad and IMO gives couponers a bad name. They don’t think about the person who might just want one or two packages and actually use it for what it is intended for.

              • mich

I totally agree with you! Yesterday I went to rite aid, wanting to buy some of the Neutrogena bar soaps that were “free” because I had read the online reviews on how it might help people with acne, which I have. The entire shelf was cleared out. I was thinking “do people buy them just because they’re free or do they actually use them?” I actually wanted to use them to see if they would help with my skin.

              • mich

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come off bashing “shelf clearers”. I guess it is probably the store who just doesn’t carry enough of everything. I didn’t go earlier since my Rite Aid is pretty far from my house, so I don’t go as frequently.

  4. Kat

“Walgreens will not accept coupons that exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.”……aww i wanted to use them here since it’s close by lol.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the reminder… updating the post now.

  5. paula

Target has the liners for $4.99 at ours and no hassle using them there, yet,lol

  6. Alanha

I get the smartsource inserts early, so I was able to use them at Target tonight. They were $4.99 each and when you buy 2 you get a $5 target gc back. Got 4 Tena packs (26ct), used four $5 mgr coupons, paid $0 oop and got $10 target gc back. I think the target gc deal ends tomorrow.

  7. Stephanie

Are these for incontinence or menstruation?

    • Dawn

Stephanie…they are technically for bladder leakage, but I have used them on my lighter period days and they work great!

    • melloddie

the heavier ones are also good for after birth

  8. kay

The coupon says Save Up to $5 and has a spot to fill in the price, so if the price is less than $5, the cashier can reduce the price of the coupon. Not sure if it only auto-deducts for the full $5.

    • sandy

Absolutely correct. I used them yesterday for a $4.99 pack and they beeped. Cashier has to manually adjust coupon down a penny.

  9. Caryn

    I heard they auto deduct

  10. mich

Did anyone use the “up to $7 off” coupon? I saw some comments where places like walmart has caused some difficulty in using it. Mine expires in like five days

    • paula

I used them at Target and it took off the full $7 so was a money maker. I also used the “up to $14 off” coupon at Walmart because my Target does not carry the underwear and it gave the full $14 so money maker there also which I REALLY did not expect but I have heard all stores are different and cashiers also so I probably got lucky. Hope you do too:)

      • mich

Did your cashier read the coupon and punched it in or did it just scan the $7 off? I live in a sonewhat non-coupon area so my cashiers are somewhat unused to coupons.

        • paula

The cashier just scanned it at both stores and it auto deducted the full amount. Like I said I probably got lucky but it did not beep at either store if that helps.

    • Melissa

I used the $7 off at Target, bought 2 the total came to $6.98 plus .19 tax. She scanned the coupon, it auto adjusted to $6.98 and all I paid was the .19 tax. Got my gift card, no problems….good luck!

      • mel

If I am not mistaken, the last time Tena had a high value coupon, if the cashier scanned the longer bar code, it will auto deduct, but if they scan the short bar code it will beep.

    • melloddie

Just used mines ($7 and $14 ones at CVS), $14 auto-deducted but the $7 beeped. Not sure why, but cashier manual adjusted it.

  11. Yoli

    Great deal! Thanks Collin.

  12. Peter

They do not auto detect. The cashier has to input the value

  13. Courtneyrmz

I’ve got the $7.00 coupons to use this upcoming week & I’ve used it once before at CVS with no problem:) I got all the Tena my store had for free when they were marked down on clearance a few weeks ago. I have to add I was impressed when I received my Tena coupons with a big box full of free samples:)

    • An

How did u get these wonderful coupons? Thanks!

      • Mary

You can request it on the Tena website.

  14. Sue

I used my $7 coupon with another $2 coupon that came with the sample pack and got 2 packs of tena liners from target($3.99 per pack)….got the $5 gift card 🙂 money maker!!

  15. Lindsay

    I’m done with Walgreens!!

  16. Priscilla Gonzalez

Not in my local newspaper (with them we receive our coupon’s insert on Saturday)
    🙁
    Bummer!

  17. runman4tt

    great coupons 🙂

  18. Amy

    Great coupon.

  19. dealhousewife

does the $5 gc deal at Target not end tonight?

  20. Kaylaashley

Does the 5 GC end tonight? Seeing as unless you get coupons early then that deal you can’t do :/

  21. Peter

Yes the gift card deal at target ends tonight so that deal would not be correct unless u got them early

  22. jhnicole

Aww boo if the target gc deal ends tonight.I won’t be able to get there today.thanks collin

  23. Amy

Went to Target today and tried buying 4 packs using four coupons. The register had a “fit” and the lead had to come over. She told me the coupon said “one per purchase” and wouldn’t hear my explanation of the difference between one per purchase versus one per transaction. She said the words were synonyms. Even though English is my second language and I would guess it’s her first language, it’s sad that she is so ignorant and is working at that level. She took the coupons as a “courtesy” but said she wouldn’t do it again while embarrassing me in front of another customer. I should have offered her my picture so she could forward it to local law enforcement since she made me feel and look like a thief not to mention her poopy attitude.

    • campanita

I know how you are feeling, that is why I do not like going to my Target, they do not like couponers and always give you a hard time, it gets worse when the coupon value is more ( 1 or 2 pennies). Before I started couponing like 5 years ago, I used to do all my shopping there but as soon as I started taking coupons, it was a different story. Too bad for them and not me because they lost one customer. I guess today I was lucky because I bought 4 Tena packs and they took them without a problem. My Target usually takes up to 4 like coupons unless the coupon reads one per customer or 2 like the Unilever products.

    • Bri

I feel like I was there when this happened! Those words are definitely not synonyms though!

  24. ish

Didnt get this coupon in my smartsource today 🙁

    • Mitchell @ Frugal Finders

      I didn’t either. 🙁

      • Pam

Don’t feel bad, it was out of stock almost immediately everywhere. Apparently, lots of peeps got their coupons early.

    • Cara

      Not in mine either

    • Turquoice

Just had my husband go and get the Sunday papers. He got 4 copies – and no coupons.
      🙁

      • Blanca

I bought a few copies myself and no coupon. I don’t understand why.

  25. studentdebtsurvivor

None priced less than $14 at the Target in Jersey City, NJ

  26. marly

I just checked the target promo page. Am I seeing it wrong? Looks like the Tena offer expires today. September 6? Can Someone double check. Please.

    • Ohiogirl

Yes, the shelf tags at Target state the gift card promo runs thru today, 9/6. The only hope is a new one starts tomorrow!

  27. Michele

Great deal at Target – got 4 used 4 coupons got them free and a $10 card!! Needed these for after I have my baby, even better with this deal

  28. Bonnie

Hi Collin! Do you know when the deal at Target ends?

    • Blanca

My newspaper lima like someone cut out the coupon from the adds i got no coupon

  29. aentinger

Target did NOT have a tena deal buy 2 get a $5.00 giftcard the week of 9-7 you just get them free, well not free you have to pay the tax.

  30. Missy

No gift card deal at Target in Hiram GA.

  31. Shelby

I actually had to call TENA last week because I found a dead bug on a pad!! Can you believe that? They sent me a return self addressed envelope to send back the pad. Would you also believe they never even sent along any coupons? I would have at least expected a coupon for a free box. Smh…

  32. Sarah Scalise

Anyone know if we can print them? I didn’t get any in CO

  33. Lori

Is this an unadvertised sale at target?

  34. Bettie

Was anyone else told that the $7 tena coupon was a fake?

  35. Tina Lee

I found Tena products today at a local Walgreens, appeared to be clearance out for 6 bucks a package for the pull ups. If anyone has a couple of extra coupons I could sure use them, I have a disabled son who uses them like they are going out of style. tinaleern@msn.com
