Home Depot & Lowe’s Kid’s Workshops: Register NOW to Make a Free Pallet Coaster & Science Lab
If you have a Home Depot nearby, you can now sign up for the FREE Kids Workshop on November 1st where kids can build a FREE Pallet Coaster. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered the 1st Saturday at all The Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM.
UPDATE – Sorry for the confusion. The Lowe’s Registration doesn’t open until 10/27.
And you may want to also register for the upcoming Lowe’s Kids Clinic! On Saturday, November 8th, at 10AM, head on into Lowe’s where kids can build a FREE Science Lab! Be sure to register your kiddos on 10/27 as spots tend to fill up quickly! If you’ve never attended one of these free Kid’s Clinics, check out my previous experience here.
(Thanks, Family Savings!)
Just FYI, the Lowe’s registration begins on 10/27. 🙂
Thanks for letting me know… just updated the post.
So what do you guys do with all these projects? We love making them but now they are just cluttering the closet. Seems wasteful to just toss them
I have my son’s wooden crafts on a low shelf so he can get to them to show friends and visitors. Someday I want to make display shelves around our real work bench in the garage.
Some of the nicer ones I’ve been saving to give as Christmas gifts.
I am sorry but I throw some of my kids crafts (not so masterpiece one) away when they are in school!! What can I do? I have 4 children!!!!
LOL! I have done the same thing.
Glad I’m not the only one. Granted, they play with them for quite some time, and we do have 4 kids and go regularly, so… the haunted houses from last week are def cool enough to keep and even put stuff in, and the experience of making them is what’s important!
Hi, I was able to register for the Lowe’s workshop on 10/10/14. I logged into their site to print the waiver for the workshop on 10/11 and it gave me the option to do it, so I did.

Many of these becom “outside” toys, so if they get ruined by the elements I dont feel so guilty. They get played with, and I dont mind if they get rained on or muddy. Once they begin to fall apart, just throw that one away and theres a pile stil left.
