I had a hard time yesterday at my local walgreens in Albany, Oregon in using the Suave and Dove walgreens coupon from yesterday. I thought we could stack them with the manufacture coupons and the manager and the cashier kept saying that I could only use one coupon per item and that it was in their coupon policy. They showed me the policy and I pointed to them where it talks about multiple coupons and how it says that you can use one walgreens and one manufacture coupon. The manager kept saying that the walgreens coupon is a manufacture coupon even though it says walgreens coupon. I left feeling disapointed because it even said there in their policy that THEY showed me one manufacture and one walgreens. Can you confirm if that is the case from the coupons from yesterday and this one?

Did you have the number of items per coupons ratio that they require? I use to forget that and one cashier said we couldn’t stack, but we could as long as we got a filler item to make it four items with four coupons. HTH as it is just a thought.

I thought walgreens coupons do not influence the ratio of coupons to items??

        • Miriam

Thats what I thought, otherwise I would have gotten fillers. That is why I was wondering if Collin could look into that, because the manager and the cashier gave me such a grieve yesterday. I dont know if I should call walgreens customer service and ask and let them know of my experience but I just want to make sure that I can do the walgreens coupon and manufucture coupon.

Call the customer service number and ask for the District Manager for your area. You’ll get more traction with that than the survey.

There’s a survey at the bottom of your receipt fill it out and complain and corporate will correct it by contacting the store.

I knew for sure when I saw these coupons, that people would have a hard time with Walgreens accepting both. All stores are different with their policies. There is no consistency whatsoever. They make up their own rules at Walgreens to best suit themselves. They act like they don’t get reimbursed for any coupons. I stay away from there because I refuse to be treated like I’m a thief and doing something wrong. I’ll give my money to CVS.

I had one for each of my manufacture coupons. But I thought that didnt apply with the walgreens coupons. Otherwise I would have gotten some filler .10cent items… He also said that I could use two coupons on one item because that is how they loose money.

Walgreens is offering 5000pts with $25 purchase. My question is, do I need to hit $25 before or after coupons to get points?

    • Carol_R

I believe that you have to hit $25 before manufacturer coupons.

Remember that the $25 has to be after you use any Walgreen’s coupons though.

i did 5 transactions with the booster points early sunday morning…. it made me have to hit the 25 dollars before tax and after any sales, coupons
was a bit disappointed as few weeks earlier I was doing booster and spending only over 9 dollars after the coupons
