My CVS told me earlier this week that the coupon policy is going to change in December where they will no longer allow a coupon on a free item along with other changes. Had anyone heard anything about this?
I wouldn’t be surprised. Many stores already changed policy to not allowing a coupon to apply towards a free item. But I do find it strange they would want to change policy in Dec. The past few updates have been around September. Could be a manager making up stuff too.
If you check the current CVS coupon policy it states that you can no longer use a coupon on a free item. So bummed!

I think that just depends on your cashier. Technically, the coupon policy forbids that – however, once the barcode is used, it generally tells us if someone tries to use it a second time, so I personally wouldn’t have a problem accepting the barcode on your phone.
Sorry, but you need to present the actual coupon to the cashier. The coupon comes from a bricks link that generates with a verify code once you hit the print button. Even though you email yourself, it is only a link, not the actual coupon. There is nothing for the cashier to scan.

I did the Hershey candy deal. Bought 6 bags for $18. Used 3x $1.10/2, 1x $1/2 CVS coupon, and $2/$12 CVS candy coupon. Came to $6.70 after using $5 ECB. Receipt says deal can be done again. Just FYI. Plan on doing it again tomorrow with same combination of coupons. We get 100+ trick or treaters, so we need lots of candy and these are great deals for my area!
If I get the Physicians Formula deal of buy $10 and get 7 extra care bucks, can I go back and get the same deal again on another day?
Mara, look at the Ad, typically it will list in very small print under the item what the limit is on that item. If the limit is more than 1, you do not have to wait until another day, you can do it together if you want. If the limit is 1, going another day will not help as it tracks it by your CVS card number.

I had that happen several months ago, I went to use my card and it wouldn’t scan at the coupon machine and wouldn’t take at the register. I still had a lot of extra bucks too which I ended up blowing on non-extra bucks items just to use them up. Luckily the cashiers know me and took the EB even though my card didn’t work. When I called customer service, I got a total run around when I asked why my card wouldn’t work and then a new card arrived in the mail.
