I was waiting for this awesome video………Thank you so much. Great Deals. I am going to kmart…yay…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome… have fun! 🙂

  2. Lolita

Ok, totally unrelated, but sort of related…. I love catching glimpses of your house in your videos… Can you do a tour like you did that one time with your new home? It would be so fun to see. I’m sure there is decor or something here and there that was from a deal that you could point out, or maybe just give out ideas for frugal decor here and there in the video if it needs to be “deal” related…
If not, and no problem if you can’t I understand, I will continue to enjoy seeing little snippets here and there :).

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Lolita,

Stayed tuned for a possible video in the future… 🙂

      • Lolita

        Wooohooooooo!!!!!! 🙂

      • ish

        Yes house tour!!

      • rosana

Yay! Please and tell me how you keep so pretty and clean 😉

  3. sabrina

Is the kmart deal where you have to spend 25 bucks after the coupons or before the coupons are rung up? Thanks in advance!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You have to spend $25 BEFORE manufacturer coupons… hope that helps! 🙂

      • sabrina

It sure does. Thanks so much! I always love watching your videos. With all the deals you post on your page, I save a ton of money for my family. It even helps me buy things I couldn’t afford otherwise. You are a god send. 🙂

        • Jennifer N

          I totally agree with Sabrina.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awww… you both are sweet! Thanks for the kind words. 🙂

  6. Colleen

Hey Collin, when you shop at Target how many transaction do you do? Or do you just pay everything at once? Just curious here. LOVE watching your videos. You make couponing so much fun to do 😊

    • nicolegammeter

      Hi Colleen!

I base the number of transactions I do on the deals. If I’m getting a gift card back and can use that in a separate transaction, I’ll split my purchase. 🙂

      • Colleen

Thanks! I hope to meet up with you while doing some shopping someday!

        • nicolegammeter

          That’d be great! 🙂

  7. Amanda

Hey Collin, I was noticing at Kmart that you were using only manufacturers coupons that looked to be clipped from an insert. Can you use the coupons from online, such as coupons.com at Kmart to double, or do they have to be a manufacturers coupon from an insert?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, printable coupons can be doubled as well. 🙂

    • Amy

You can use printables but beware – if they won’t scan they won’t override them. But they will a clipped coupon. Hth!

      • barb

I think it depends on your store mine never scan properly and they always just enter it in.

  8. Aryanna

Great deals Collin. I wish I could go shopping with you, seems like you always have a such a blast. LOL at the American Idol comment.

    • nicolegammeter

    • nicolegammeter

      You are welcome, Iria! 🙂

  17. ana

Thank you! This morning I went to Target and followed your extended target list of deals from last night, plus a couple of my own finds and saved almost 50% of my total purchase! I did spend hours last night getting all the coupons, printing, cutting, getting the coupons from Sunday papers (first time i did this) and organizing them ready for the morning. I got all my shopping done after sending my kid to school and it felt so good saving all that money! It was a great experience as a first timer. I’ll keep shopping with coupons only from now on and go to the stores as soon as they open in the morning so I don’t feel rushed. Thank you so much for all you do!

  18. Angelia Caesar

    LOVE your VIDEO’s !!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • nicolegammeter

      Thanks, Angelia! 🙂

  19. Susan

I am such a fan of your videos! Thank you!

    • nicolegammeter

Happy to hear you enjoy them! 🙂

  20. Michelle

I can not print from red plum I’ve tried everything. It’s so frustrating does anyone know of anyway to help? TIA

    • TeresaAnn

Hi Michelle, Redplum is a pill when it comes to printing coupons grrrr. I still have trouble with them now and then. I guess it could be different with everyone but in my case I found that I couldn’t print on Google Chrome at all. It would say it did and count as a print but nothing came through my printer. I hear if you are on a Mac they prefer Firefox

I switched to Internet Explorer and when I first went there and tried to print, it told me that I needed their new coupon printing system P@H (Print @ Home) so I downloaded it. Then it still was not printing…so I added it to my exceptions in my firewalls. I also opened up the newly made P@H folder and opened up its “Properties”. It was either the General tab or Security tab on it that had a unblock option at the bottom and I unblocked it (it was about my computer blocking the computer sending the information).

At least on mine, this worked. I guess also make sure your Java is up to date. Good luck 🙂

  21. jess

Where did you get the ceramic pumpkin?

    • nicolegammeter

      Hi Jess!

It actually came in a festive flower gift a friend sent me last year. 🙂

      • jess

Oh darn! Thanks for answering! Love your site!

  22. Connie

My 3 year old was in the room when I was watching your video. She kept asking me something, “where is Grandma”? Finally, I realized she was wondering where YOUR Grandma was, because she had seen her in your previous videos. Guess we are ALL missing “Ma”!!!

    • nicolegammeter

Thanks so much for sharing, Connie! I miss having her along on my shopping trips!

  23. Kim

Can you tell me where to find the $4/1 Olay coupon? I can’t seem to find it in any of my inserts.

    • Rowen

They were in an insert of their own. It was a piece of paper, really.

  24. Luchi

I always look forward to your videos and kudos to your cameraman for the awesome shots

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! 🙂

  25. Shalena

With the Nice storage bags that are 99 cents at walgreen’s, what count are they??

    • Michal

      50

      • Shalena

        Thank you!

  26. Jodie Finney

oooo rockin the red nails! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😉

  27. nicola

Hi is there a limit on items that you can buy from Walgreen and get RR for. I know that you cant use the RR rewards on the same item and get more RR but can you buy multiple toothpastes

    • Shel

You may buy more than one…(in separate transactions!)…if your store allows it. It probably varies, but my store allows two transactions per person per day to try to be sure everyone has a chance to get in on the deal. (Since I often can’t shop Walgreens until Saturday, I really appreciate that 🙂

  28. Heather

How do I use Shop your way rewards to double my coupons? I have an account. It there something I have to show them to verify that I am a member? I have never used it before. Thanks!

    • Di

I have the same question 🙂

      • Di

        I figured it out:
“At checkout, have the associate tell you your Points balance. No number handy? Use your phone number or email address.
Enter your Member PIN in the register keypad when prompted.”

To get membership # & pin, log into shopyourway.com, select Account Settings, then click on Rewards. Pin # is hidden so print membership card to see it.

        • Mindie

I don’t get the Shop your way Rewards either. I have an account, but have never used it before. Do I have to have a certain amount of points to get my coupons to double?

          • Agata

No point requirement! Just make a purchase of $25 or more and 5 coupons will double! I also think that if you make your first purchase of $30 or more ( before coupons) you will get 5,000 pts ($5 reward). Just keep in mind, some Kmarts are not very internet coupon friendly and might give you problems at the register.

            • Princess

@Agata, that is so true. My Kmart will not accept printed coupons; therefore it’s such a pain for me when it’s double coupon time. I have to be super creative with my finds because of the use of non printed coupons. I’ve been really lucky this time because of so many high value insert coupons such as the $2.00 bic razor, and of course the $2.00 tide pods and liquid.

        • Heather

          Got it, thanks!

  29. Picklesandpaisley

For the cereal deal, there is $.25 cash back in Ibotta and $.25 cash back in Jingit making the Cocoa Puffs $.74!

  30. Janna

Hi Collin! I want to thank you for your videos always being family friendly. My 4-yr-old son likes to watch them with me (he loves cutting coupons)! It is so important to me to shelter his little ears and I really appreciate that I can watch your videos with him in the room. 🙂 Oh and I also love your energy – gives me motivation to keep going when I’m in a rut. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks much for the kind words… and glad to hear you enjoy watching the videos! 🙂

  31. Akiko

You are funny! So much fun to watch your videos!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awww… thanks!

  32. Amber

Went to Walgreens today to snag some of the clearance Revlon shadow links. Mine came out to $0.35 each, but still a great deal. Just a heads up- there were some Almay concealer + brightener duos that were on clearance at my walgreens in WA for $4.89 (regular $9.79), plus there is a $3 off Almay face cosmetics coupon in the Walgreens Oct coupon booklet, so just $1.89!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

SWEET!! Thanks for the tip on the Almay!

  33. Brenda

I just came back from Kmart and wanted to let you know that the Olay soap coupon from my insert is $2/2 not $2/1. I guess it was a regional coupon?

    • Princess

@Brenda, there actually was a $2.00/1 Olay soap coupon in an insert awhile back. I used mine at DG to score a 4 pack of Olay soap for a $1.00 plus after their $2.00 digital coupon it was free with a $1.00 filler.

  34. TeresaAnn

I absolutely love your videos! When I watch you it seems like you really enjoy your shopping trips and everything goes smoothly 🙂 Ok..mine aren’t so smooth lol. As soon as my daughter and I enter Target my brain turns to pudding. Not so much with the list I have ready to grab..but the extra deals I don’t expect. I’m the one you see scrambling through her binder..extra coupon containers for a match..looking on her phone and calculating what it will be afterwards lol. I’m a mess!

Thank you so much for all you do, Collin..you’re great!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I promise – behind the scenes things aren’t always going smoothly. 😉

  35. Jennifer M.

ran over to kmart to get the tide pod deal….but forgot our kmart store is closing. bummmer! =[

  36. Kelsey

I have a question. I have $2.50 off two tide pods. Would that coupon double??

    • Janet

No, it doubles up to 2.00 Hth

      • Kelsey

        Darn! Thank you though! 😀

  37. nona

    best video ever

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the sweet comment!

  38. KB

    Love the videos!

  39. Anna

That’s so wonderful, great video. I’m struggling to figure out how to save money on non-boxed items. I’m trying really hard not to buy any processed food whatsoever. It’s been great because my kids dont have it at home so never ask for it. However, it’s sooo temping when you can get cheap or free items that are “junk food”. Does anybody have any ideas how to save on fruits and vegetabes and meat?

    • Kathy

If you have an Aldi’s nearby they have great deals on fruits and vegetables (at least in Wisconsin).

    • Agata

Savings Star app is your way to go! or even the Snap by Groupon app. I’ve seen fresh food discounts on both of them 😉

    • Elizabeth

Ibotta (you need to have bought specific items – but they do have fruits/veggies/dairy sometimes) App
Receipt Hog (you get points for all grocery spending) App
Checkout 51 (sometimes has fresh food) App
Cartwheel (Target App) sometimes has discounts on fruits/veggies
My Aldi’s is hit or miss on fruits/veggie – you need to really look to see if it looks good
Use coupons for overage at Walmart and use that overage towards fruits/veggies
Look for frozen fruit and veggie deals – you can see them quite often, there are sometimes coupons, and once a year grocery stores do specials on all frozen food.
And: Look in the beer aisle. Many times I see rebates for bread, fruits/veggies, meat, dairy and SOME states don’t require an alcohol purchase. So I have gotten $5 rebate on meat purchase of $5.01 or more that would normally require you buy a 12-pack with it, but the wording on the rebate meant I didn’t need to buy it.

  40. krishna

    • erin

where did you get the board game coupon

      • krishna

I dont remember exactly but i think i printed game coupons from hasbro site

  41. Michelle

Collin What size shirt is that? I noticed it is in the junior section? I want one but don’t know what size to order?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I’m wearing a small.

  42. Ray

Question… all these deals you got today my mom uses. Could you make a list of what coupons and which inserts you used? Thanks.

  43. Christine B

I noticed in the video that the got2b coupon is a do not double coupon did it work?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, it worked fine. Kmart is covering the cost of the doubling (and not the manufacturer), so I’m assuming that’s why.

  44. Amber

Doesn’t the Tide coupon exclude Tide pods?

    • Janet

There was a tide pod q in a previous insert for the tide pods, unstoppables and softener. I think it exp 10/31 Hth

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The $2/1 Tide Pod coupon I used is from the 10/12 RP.

  45. Len

awesome video, though im missing ur grandma..thanks for all u do

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I know… I’m missing her too. 🙁

  46. Sisi Chavez

    Love your videos ! Thanks!!

  47. Flavia

Great video Collin!! I’m new to this so its amazing how many deals you can get. I still need to get into the hang of it. I haven’t been able to print coupons directly from target.com because I’m not able to download the specific printer. Any ideas how I can get this issue resolved?
Thanks! Can’t wait for your next video!! 🙂

  48. Yoli

Ugh! I can’t find my tide pods coupons, olay or maybelline 😢😡. The ones I have are not the ones mentioned. I have calculated my deal (for the items I would get) and it’s sweet as candy 😕. Total disappointment. And I’m kind of confused, please help. It states we can only use 5 coupons but then it says only 4 purchases of the same item. Does that mean just 5 coupons TOTAL or if I get 4 like items I can use 4 coupons and then again another 4 coupons for 4 other like items? Thanks!

    • Yoli

Okay so shame on me for not watching the video first. Lol to me defense it’s 630 am and my infant is asleep in my room 😜 lol don’t want to wake her. Got my answer after watching. Thanks Collin!!! Yes you are very much Halloween OUT as we would say here in Philadelphia, PA. Really cool video!!!

    • Jac

It really is 5 coupons total, and only 4 of them can be the same. You may be able to return on a different day to double 5 more coupons.

      • Yoli

        Thanks Jac.

  49. Tiffany

    You are so cute Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awww… thank you. 🙂
