Shrink Grocery App: Earn Cash Back for Grocery Purchases (Apples, Onions, Ice Cream + More)
Save at the grocery store with the Shrink Grocery IOS App! This free app pays you cash back when you purchase select items at the grocery store AND rewards you for buying certain items as well. Shrink actually recommends items based on your preferences (and you earn cash for trying these products!); and if you buy these items multiple times, you can even unlock loyalty rewards!
Here’s how Shrink works:
* If you have an iPhone, iPad, and/or iPod touch, head over here and download the FREE Shrink App. During the sign-up process, enter the referral code RYHCSV (this referral code will give you $1 cash back just for signing up!)
* During the registration process, be sure to let Shrink know if you have certain food preferences, allergies, how large your family is etc. so they can cater offers just for you!
* Browse through Shrink’s offers and click the Reserve button to claim the offers you like before they’re gone (I spotted cash back offers for onions, apples, Steve’s Ice Cream, Dr. Praeger’s Foods, Cheat on Vodka and more!)
* After you have purchased the item(s), just snap a picture of your receipt
* If you make repeat purchases, you’ll earn points and unlock special rewards
* Once you have reached a total of $20 cash back, you can redeem your cash back via Paypal
Side note – the sign-up code in this post is my referral code. Keep in mind that you can also share your own referral code with friends and family. When they go through your link, they’ll get $1 cash back and you’ll get $2 after they sign up and redeem an eligible offer.
Will this work for Android phones, or only apple?
Right now, it’s only on IOS devices.
Does anyone know if Shrink is good for certain products at ANY store or only certain stores?
There is no stores listed. So I believe any store will work. I know on product the brand doesn’t matter.

I think it is ANY. It doesn’t specify the store in their app. I actually tried one local grocery store and it worked!

I’m frustrated with this app already tried taking pictures of my receipt and it says that there needs to be a “deal” but nothing is appearing in that screen!
If you see nothing on Discover tab, double-check your zip code 🙂
Go to Discover Tab and reserve the thing you are interested in. Then you can redeem it. Hope this helps!

The apps are pretty easy and have tutorials in them. You just take pictures with your smartphone and that’s it! Some require barcode validation which you do with your camera as well. You can submit one receipt to different apps as long as the requirements are met for each one such as product and store if applicable.
