How do you know that all these people are new entries? I’m pretty sure we all have a fair chance in winning. Everyone’s odds are probably AT LEAST 1 in 100,000.

There is absolutely NO WAY that you know when people entered, so I think you are misinterpreting something or are confused about something. I was just wondering if there is any specific reason why some days have 10+ winners and other days only have 3? Is it all just how random.org generates the results? Thanks for all you do!!
Collin chooses how many names she wants drawn on her own. Collin then inputs on random .org how many “numbers” to randomly pick (ie “how many names” to pick) between 1 and the total number of entries received at the time of the draw, 8:00 a.m. Each person entering was assigned a number (the same # used throughout this promotion) in the order in which they applied (btw, no Entrant knows their own entry #). The random #’s drawn on randomorg then get matched to the person who applied in that order – in other words, if Random picks #247, the 247th person who applied for this promo overall since the beginning is matched by Collin. She knows everyone’s number & everyone has the exact same number applied to themselves throughout this promo. In future draws, Collin just adds the # of add’l people (the grand total at the moment) whom applied after the last draw to give them a fair shake. HTH — yes I was a Math major in school.
Oh, ok. I get how the names are randomly drawn, I just didn’t know if it was ever said why some days have more winners than others. I have no problem whatsoever with how the contest is done. It’s all fair and completely based on the luck of the draw! Thanks for your reply.
