      Wouldn’t this be because genetically the Chinese children are smaller then the average american so then this size chart is really for chinese girls sizing?

        The size chart goes by height and weight. Because it’s not US sizes, you just go to the chart and find your child’s height and weight and then select the corresponding size.

    I got both of these exact dresses on ebay from China a few weeks ago. Just a side note, my daughter is a size 6, 44 inches, 48 pounds and the 140 fits her well. They are both really good dresses for the price.

      Oh, and they would probably fit taller girls but I liked that they were closer to floor length on her.

      Good to know. i also have a 6 yr old around that weight & height. can’t believe the 140 fits her well, so then she will grow out of it fast? that is the trouble with dress up the only go to 4-6x. And girls like dress up longer that that age range.

      I also bought off Ebay, my 43″ daughter fit fine in a 120, If I would have gone up to a 130 the dress would have drug on the ground for sure (the train already does still in the 120) it was for halloween, so I wanted it shorter rather then longer. Glad I ordered shorter the hem on the dresses we bought for my daugther and neice did not hold up well at all, they were a mess after wearing it for an hour at a local mall.

      I just ordered the 110 for my 3 yr old and the 140 for my 5 yr old. I hope they aren’t to big. If so they will just wear them awhile. 🙂

      I always look up reviews before I buy from someplace new, especially when they are asking what country I live in which this site (lightinthebox.com) does and it got really, really bad reviews. In all fairness, the site I was on may ONLY be showing bad/negative reviews and not any out there which may be good.

    Just an FYI, my sister and I buoght the Elsa dress for my daughter for halloween off Ebay. They look really well made and are cute, but the bottom of the actual dress (not train) did not hold up well at all. It frays very easy and by the end of all of our halloween activities (which included very little actual time in the dress) it was pretty much ready for the trash (Maybe someone good with sewing might be able to fix it?)

      The comment should say my sister and I bought one for my daughter and one for her daughter. Both did the same thing. Also, the train is long, I got the 120 for my VERY tall 4 year old (she is off the growth charts for height at her age). The dress was a bit short, but the train still was on the ground and we had to tie the train up when she was wearing it out.

    I ordered 2 sizes up for my 5 yr old niece, got her the 130. I figured, she can always grow into it if it is too big, but she can’t shrink! Their sizes feel like the weight/height doesn’t match the years in their size chart for most American children. I went up two sizes from the year and I hope that it fits. I’m glad to hear that the quality is good. I think she’s going to love it!

    Read reviews for this company before buying. I decided against it after reading some. Many people said the item showed up along with a hefty bill from the shipping company that had to be paid before delivery.

      The bill is likely custom fees which is hard to predict as a seller when customers need to pay on which packages. There’s always a risk of having to pay for custom fees when you buy things internationally.

    I ordered both of these dresses plus two more directly from China. Buyer beware. I washed the above photographed Anna dress and all the glitter decals on the skirt of the dress lifted. Washed it on delicate & hanged to dry. The other Anna dress (blue skirt) has held up very well. The two Elsa dresses have held up okay. I wouldn’t pay more than $10 each for these dresses.

      I can’t recommend LightInTheBox at all. I once ordered a $1.99 tomato shaped kitchen timer from them. It was shipped from Switzerland. It arrived crushed and broken, extremely poor packaging. I contacted the company and asked for a replacement. They demanded I upload a photo of the packaging and the broken timer, which I did. Then they denied my request for either a replacement or refund, said “it didn’t look broken to them”. I wasn’t going to bother with a $1.99 charge back, but I’ll never order from them again.

    Someone who bought this… Does anyone know what these are made out of? My daughter is really sensitive to “itchy material” and won’t wear the cheaply made dress up clothes. The itchy tulle and scratchy fabric which most dresses from target and Walmart are made of, is impossible to get her in.

    I ordered the Elsa dress Nov 4 for our daughter’s 6 year old birthday in December. It arrived a few days ago which is two weeks earlier than the Dec 3 estimated arrival date. It is even lovelier in real life. We live in CA. It does have an interesting odor. There is a note saying to remove the odor soak the dress in saline and then softener. I have not done this yet but fingers crossed it works!!

    I ordered but then cancelled, scared after reading all the reviews online. To cancel you click cancel then your money goes to a credit account with them and then you have to request a withdrawal and they refund to your original payment. I used PayPal so hopefully will get refund.

    I was considering ordering as the price is great, but taking the chance with a huge customs shipping bill and knowing that they run small, most likely my 8 yr old wouldn’t fit into the largest size available even though she’s skinny.

    I ordered the $12 Elsa dress and the $15.60 Anna dress. I got 135 swagbucks for purchasing and used my paypal account which is money I earn from swagbucks so if the dresses don’t work or don’t last long I feel like they were free anyways. I am hoping she will be able to wear one of them to Disney on Ice in January.

    I got the Anna dress for my 4 year old niece. I as well ordered the 130, which was for a 8-9 (I believe ), I’m hoping it does run small. I’ve read many reviews that does to order up a size or 2!

    I understand that Collin gets paid for those who order through her links, but is it too much to ask that only legit sites be posted? I’ve always trusted hip2save to link to reputable companies, but reading all of the terrible reviews irritates me. Granted, I guess I should have done so before I ordered, but I assumed a site I trust, like hip2save, would not link to deals from shady sources.

In your original post you said that they had great reviews and I trusted you and placed my order. I guess from here on out I will have to do my own research. Sounds like many people have been scammed by this company and it sucks that I gave them all my bank information. Now I have to pray that I actually get my money back from them. I hope you understand my frustration.

          I cancelled my order( make sure to do it within 24 hours) and had no problem getting my money back. I used PayPal so my money was deposited immediately after I requested a withdrawl , but it didn’t seem like there was any issues on getting a full refund.

              Sorry to hear that, did you try going into your account and requesting a withdrawal? After you request the withdrawl the money immediately shows up in PayPal, if that’s the form of payment you originally used.

    I have not received my order either. I couldn’t find contact info so I googled “lightinthebox did not receive order” and imagine my shock and dismay when hundreds of complaints came up!! Hip2save is a website that I trust to bring me good deals. I am so upset that I was led to believe this was a website that was trustworthy. Now, I doubt I’ll ever see the dress or my money back. Very disappointing!

      I’m still waiting. I contacted them under customs questions at the top of my order only because it was the only way to “open a ticket”. The only thing next to my order was delivery confirmation. I’m not confirming something that never showed up. I was told today in an answer to my ticket to wait another 3-7 days for usps to deliver or I could contact usps directly. Irritating because I placed my order on Nov. 19th and it supposedly shipped Dec. 2nd. I tried my tracking number for weeks and all it kept saying was at sorting center. Now my tracking # doesn’t even work.
