My walmart is saying the TVs are sold out already.

  2. Minde

sold out. has been since last night. My mom went in store today at 6 a.m. and was 6 in line for one. Our store only had a total of 9

  3. Cheryl

    Shame on Walmart! Ugh!

  4. Patty Harris

    sold out

  5. Jamie

It’s bs cause my husband called last night and they said they wouldn’t go on sale early like last year and of course they started selling them at 3am and sold out well before 8.

  6. Ger

I live near Las Vegas, NV and I’m still able to add the tv for in-store pick up.

  7. kristina

    I got 2 online. woohoo. 🙂

    • Shanshan

Well…. update us if you get to pick them up. I wonder how reliable online shopping is when comes to deals like this.

      • Lisa

I was able to pick mine up. Still available for in store pick up in Flagstaff, AZ.

  8. casey

Won’t let me buy online says in stores only

  9. Andrea

I was able to order online and pick up in store around 5am this morning. Woohoo!!!

  10. Sheri

Black Friday really has become laughable. Many merchants now begin BF sales on November 1, just to scare us into believing that what we need won’t last long.

Real deals are scarce, and stores purposely keep inventory low on high quality goods. There are no “rain checks” or “more on the way”. Just enough to run an ad and draw spenders into the store. After all, once you’ve driven through traffic jams, spend hours looking for a parking space, and fought you way to the counter, only to find the object of you lust ut of stock, are you going home empty-handed?

Most promotions, like this one, offer inferior goods at seemingly low prices. So if you need a “disposable” TV with display quality suitable for young children, then this is what you want. But really, it is no deal.

Next time you see a BF ad, just laugh to yourself, thinking about the poor souls clamoring to spend their hard-earned wages on short-lived gratification… while you seek out a local charitable organization, and bless their efforts through your financial means and your time.

    • Tia

You’re an excellent writer! And I agree.

    • Denloc

Jokes on them, I have no problem leaving empty handed and plenty of others were doing the same. Not only that they did a good job of making sure we avoided the place like the plague the rest of the season.

    • Laura

Everybody’s sure butt hurt about a stupid TV. Either you’re an elitist and all happy that you’re not looking for a deal because you have plenty of money to splurge on top products, or you’re grumpy that someone else is getting a deal. Maybe people want to buy a cheap TV because TV isn’t the most important thing in their life! My TV flickers after we moved so I’d like a new one! It’s our only TV! You don’t need to be all high and mighty that everyone looking for something cheap is an imbecile. Also, if you miss out on a deal, it’s not the end of the world! Take you’re negatives somewhere else! Collin is so nice, she doesn’t need it!

      • Denloc

Wow, I did not go for a TV so as someone not “butt hurt” about it, I can say the only rude person is you. No one has said anything negative about Collin (she just posts the deals) but for people in later time zones they may appreciate knowing its probably not worth it to get out early to try to fight for 3 TVs. That’s awesome you enjoy your flickering TV but most people prefer their televisions to function correctly.

        • Laura

Of course you didn’t find it rude, you agreed with her post on all that is sold is crap and people shouldn’t shop black Friday. I don’t enjoy my flickering TV, but there are other things that are more important right now. I need a roof rack and window tints, but there aren’t really black Friday deals on those. I’m saying that regardless of what you are shopping for and whether or not you score on the best deal you don’t need to come here and post negative comments. This is Collin’s blog and I know what people comment affect Collin and her other bloggers. It doesn’t do any good to post negative comments here.

          • carissa

It’s actually well documented that the tvs you buy for super deals like this one are inferior and will actually cost you more money that investing in one for a little more money. I got my Samsung last year using the 20% coupon you got for shopping black Friday at target. When all the tvs on sale that week we’re sold out and I complained, the electronics associate offered me whatever tv I wanted at the discount the tv they were sold out of was. I think it ended up being 15%. I think I got a 40 inch tv for around $250 and the quality and durability of the Samsung brand is well worth the extra hundred dollars. Little known fact, target will often substitute sale prices on items they are sold out of on similar items to keep the customer happy. And that is why I prefer shopping at target. They often go out of their way to be helpful.

            • Laura

You can buy any product on a super deal. Just because it is a super deal does not mean it is inferior. You can buy quality products on black Friday. This TV may not be, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get good stuff on a good sale. I’m not buying this cause I do think it’s not a good TV. I’d rather spend a little more for better quality. You also don’t need to belittle someone for their choice to buy the cheapest TV. When people who have no interest in buying a TV come here and comment belittle people, it’s rude. I’m not saying that to you, you were very polite 🙂 Oh and some places Targets are not nice. My city the Target is awful. The most awful Target I have ever been to. The Walmarts on the other hand are very nice. My old city, I loved my Target! My Walmart was good too but I LOVED Target. Now I don’t even shop at Target anymore.

      • Ashley

This is the reason I don’t think I will be going BF shopping this year. Everyone gets so rude and hateful over STUFF. They let their true colors shine. I’d rather pay the extra money then go out shopping for 6 hours to only be reminded what kind of people our world is filled with.

  11. Tracey K

I was able to order online for in store pickup, but that doesn’t mean they won’t sell out and cancel my order anyway. We’ll see.

    • Tobey

My pick up order was canceled. Boo hop

      • Denloc

Check around online other sites may do a similar deal! I got my chromebook for $199 else where plus $7 back with ebates. They were only doing $20 gc in store in VA so basically I only paid $13 more and don’t have to deal with Walmart so it works. Good luck!

  12. Susab

    Will Target price match this?

    • Tia

They probably don’t carry it. Most stores seem to get only certain TV’s.

  13. Lynn

    Got 2 TV’s!

    • Shanshan

  14. Amy

I’ve read many orders are being cancelled for in store pick up. Don’t get your hopes up until you get your ready for pick up email. They may not even email you to tell you it’s been cancelled so keep checking your order status.

  15. darcy

How is it possible that the TV for $115 is sold out at our local store when the sale was supposed to start at 8 am?? I sent my husband at 7 am and they told him they only had 7 and they were spoken for.

  16. Franfran

I ordered this morning for store pickup
Showed many stores that had them. They sent text and email they cancelled my order. Hope you all have better luck. Guess I’ll have to go next week on the one hour guarantee.

  17. Tiffany H

Could not find in the description. Does anyone know how the wall mount is secured to the wall? Thanks

    • shop4mybabies

you really need to receive your tv before you purchase a wall mount, we tried buying one before hand but you need to see the back of your tv and which mount will fit/work for it …two different wall mounts said they would work, but didn’t.

  18. AMY

It took me three tries to get the TV. The first time I added the Element TV to my cart and when I went to check out it told me it was no longer available. I then added the Emerson one to my cart and when I went to checkout it was not available. So I found the Lego set I wanted and bought that. Then I tried again on the Element TV and it worked. I was able to get it. My order hasn’t been cancelled yet. ShopAtHome is at 5% for Walmart.

    • Amy

Btw it wasn’t working to add these to my cart from my phone. I had to get in my PC. Maybe that will help some people.

      • AMY

My order was cancelled 13 hours after I placed it. I guess I will be going out on Thanksgiving now.

  19. Cassie

Everything was sold out at 8am! My husband snagged one of the 3 iPads they received. All tv(only received 11) were long gone!

  20. bloneambition

    In stores only for me…not fair for people that are working…and yes I knowi shouldn’t be shopping @ work. ;}

  21. Meme

Went to the store at 5:45 this morn and was able to score one! Very happy I didn’t know they were going to do the sale online too! But hey happy I got one anyway!

  22. Denloc

This was the most chaotic and unorganized event I’ve ever gone to, and I’ve Black Friday shopped for 20 years so I’ve seen chaos!! 2 out of 3 Walmarts didn’t even know they were having a sale!!! Then the one I went to had no chromebooks! It would of been laughable if I hadn’t woken up at 5:30 to go and waited an hour to be told. I originally didn’t order online cause we’re going out of town next week but decided to order and try to get a neighbor to grab the package if they left it on the porch. My order went through only to be cancelled cause of a “payment issue” (I called, my cc was fine they just “sold out”). I’m not buying so much as a $3 roll of wrapping paper from them this holiday season. If they’re gonna blow up my inbox promoting an event they may wanna at least inform their employees!

  23. natoli

Sigh where to start I went last nigh to my Walmart and they had no idea what TV where etc. So I wake up early in the morning (7:00) and go into Walmart no one I then go to electronic that’s where it all started….. four women were standing with there carts they were talking then one of them looked up and said “are you here for the TV’s?” I replied yes then she said they only have 4 and were getting them so there’s none left. I said okay and continued to wait. I wanted to verify it with the manager just in case they were LOUD ABNOCTIOUS they even were taking to the manager to see if Walmart would give them the TVs early so they didn’t have to wait any longer. Then finally 8:00 rolls around and they start getting their TV’s so im watching and each women Is getting a tv then the last one looks at me and then looks at the cashier and says I want 2.FYI I was the fith person in line. So not only did they lye and say that their was 4 and really there was 5 the lady got 2 im not saying that no one can get 2 im just wanting people to be considerate about other people.

    • April

Yea they should have only alllowed one per person since quantities were low. I dont expect much from other people at all yes the person could have only bought one so someone else could purchase one but they don’t see things that way.

    • MiisNoel

I would have waited until the last lady purchased her TWO televisions and then told her (in a very nice tone) “I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get in on this deal and as you very well know, I wasn’t, but I’m happy you and the other ladies were able to take advantage of this deal. Happy THANKSgiving.” (Emphasis the “thank.”) She’d look at you like your crazy, yes. And then simply reply “‘Tis the season” with a big fat smile. Kill ’em with kindness!!! That’s it. Maybe, just maybe, it’d click and that woman would realize what a jerk she was. Chances are she wouldn’t though. I’m sick of people! But, I’m sorry you had that experience. :[

      • whollymollycouponnatoli

April and MiisNoel thanks for turning my day back around.

        • MiisNoel

You’re welcome! There will be plenty of other deals … And unfortunately rude people too. Ugh! Take it in stride, breath and try to remember what’s most important to you. And vent it out, like you did here. ;]

(BTW, a heads up, in case it’s you … But, a “Natoli C” was one of Collin’s Pizza Winners today! *fingers crossed*:)

          • whollymollycouponnatoli

MiisNoel- what you said was very true and yes the winner was me for the pizza I cried when I saw it I NEVER win anything actually I’ve won 2 things in my life. Oh wait I’m only 15 I still have a ways to go. 🙂 do you have instagram? My user name is Whollymollycouponnatoli.

  24. melissa

Had it in my cart, when I was getting ready to checkout they say they sold out 🙁

  25. Cc

Only available in store now and all out of stock within 90 miles of me

  26. Ksantos128

My store had a total of 10 and it was all sold out before 8

  27. Laura

Can you put in layaway instore

  28. T

$115 may seem like a great deal but we had an Element and it had horrible picture quality! Returned it the same day. I wouldn’t have paid $50 for it. I guess if you need a TV it’s better than nothing. The Emerson may be better quality but only got 1 star review.

  29. Shanshan

2 TVs… Do you guys have to rub it in? 🙁 Guess I’ll have to go for the $218 50″ TV and go line up at 6pm on Nov 27. At least with that “1 Hour Guarantee” sounds like you’ll get one that way for sure. Hope not a crappy brand.

I know had I scored online this morning, I can’t beat people who’s already in store holding onto the TVs till 8am. Sure they’ll help them first, then they’ll attend to fulfilling/cancelling online orders.

    • Denloc

Target will have a 40″ black Friday for $118. They have better inventory than WM (if you get there early you’ll get it).

      • Marcheta

And you can get them online easier. Last year the deals went live at 3 am… Agreed!

      • Shanshan

Thanks I’ll look into that! 🙂

    • April

Of course they have to rub it in and I got a ipad mjni last year the one hour guarantee worked great in my opinion id rather have the guarantee than hoping you may get one at other stores.

  30. kristen

Walmart is crap with deals like this. My husband got there at 730 this morning and they only had “one” tv and claimed they already sold it yet the sale wasn’t supposed to start until 8. I went online to try to buy one and it shows one in stock within 50 miles so I add it to the cart n get an error that it’s out of stock. Ummm ok then why the previous screen did it show its in stock.

  31. Tobey

I ordered on line at 7 am for pick up. At 8:30 my order was canceled.

  32. Val

Just got the cancellation email for the Element TV. 🙁

  33. Tobey

I ordered the 40″ Westinghouse from best buy for 199 just in case I don’t get one cheaper. Best buy said you can return within 15 days with no restock fee. Or price match if it’s the same product code.

  34. Clif

Walmart employees had 4 of them when I went to get one at 7:40, funny thing is, they were all looking at each other wondering who was going to pay…. Shame on Walmart employees!
They should have had some JUST for employees.

  35. Rachel

Nothing worse than watching the last one being pulled off the shelf as you walk up. 🙁

  36. charlotte haines

Our store had 4…..that is just silly not worth advertising

  37. Jem

Each Walmart received so many of these. If you ordered it online for that particular store, there is an order in the system to be picked by 9:00am. If for some reason the order is not picked before a customer comes in to buy it, the online order will be canceled and the customer in the store will receive the item. Hope this is helpful.

  38. Lesly

How much are these tvs in regular price?

  39. sarah

Stood in line of 100 people for an hour. Number 16 in line, only to find out they had only 7 tvs in store. Managers walked past line thanking everyone for coming, didn’t bother to tell anyone they only had 7 tvs. All hell broke loose. Will never wait in line for this treatment again. Walmart is a joke.

  40. Christi

got there at 7am was the 6th person in line was informed there were 6 TVs so was excited until the employee that was in line in front of me informed me he was purchasing 2 of them 🙁 however I did purchase the 60″ smart TV

  41. whollymollycouponnatoli

Samsung 32″ TV is only 197.99 regularly 319.99 I got that because there was no mofre of the element left

  42. Carolyn E

I ended up getting the Samsung 32″ for $198, not as great of a deal as the 40″ for $115, but it has awesome reviews.

  43. Meme

If this helps anyone… When I was in walmart this morning purchasing my tv (which they only had 7 in store) the manager said this deal is until 11/27 and she said they will be putting orders in for more TV’s as they sell out. (They were only ordering 20 at a time) which whatever….. but she told the other people in line to call and check to see when the truck comes in and just be prepared to get there early that day. Maybe this info can help someone if you really want to get this particular tv and if it applies to your store…. have a blessed day!

  44. Pao

Send hubby since 6am cuz I’m 8 and half months preggo lol! He got there and said none of the managers had an idea of the sale, there was a lady in front of hubby only, first they said they only had 3 tv in the store, by the time I got to the store 7:45 after I dropped my daughter to school, there were like 7 more people behind hubby, the lady in front of him had been In line since 4:30!! And she wanted 4 tvs, she was on the phone with someone from corporate and was able to make them give rain checks! She got 1 element and had 2 of the Emerson in layaway ones they had to honor the sale price cu the big guy from
Corporate on the phone said so…
Bt hubby and I got the one we wanted and so did 4 more people behind us, all the rest were able to get rainchecks! The managers at the store weren’t thrilled about it, bt thanks to that lady that stood up lots of people were able to at least get their rainchecks for the tv!! A lot of them were mad and saying it was unfair that she wanted 4tv, bt I understand! C’mon people? She was there since 4:30!! And I would be just as her if I really wanted a deal!! I think all the people behind us complaining about her should be thankful they at least got a raincheck all thanks to her!!
In thankful I won’t have to go wait at target for the same tv next Thursday!! Yay!!

  45. Tina

For the Wal marts that had zero u can contact your attorney general in your area it is unlawful to advertise merchandise that is not available. My bet would be employees may have had a hand in this 🙁

    • Cami

Who is going to bother contacting the attorney general over a tv????!!!! Good lord….

      • Debby

😀 I agree 100% with you! I mean Lord people… Really the attorney general??? All for a crappy made tv at Walmart… Which is the lowest quality tv out there. Maybe you can sue for emotional distress….. Nothing says the holidays like greed and anger! Happy Holidays everyone… Remember to sue, sue, sue!!! 🎅

      • MiisNoel

I agree with lyn96! I personally don’t think Tina’s comment has anything to do with the actual television!!! I think the issue at hand is “false advertising.” (Which is against the law … Even “bait and switch.”) WalMart is a corporate retailer who is notorious for it’s poor treatment of employees and consumers. The company has tried and tried to correct issues and it’s name, but continues to make poor decisions. By contacting the Attorney General, whether about this deal or any other … Or whether WalMart, Target, Best Buy, etc., you are reporting possible misconduct. Which helps keep Big Business/Corporate America in check.

And Debby no one said anything about suing anyone! I think that is precisely the wrong assumption.

    • lyn96

She didn’t say SUE just to contact the AG maybe if they get a lot of complaints maybe just maybe something could be done about Walmart. It is not just about this TV it is about how they treat people in general with many items they sell like this. Walmart needs to be spanked over the way they treat people. IT’S about the higher issue of treating customers and employees with no respect. I don’t like Walmart and I haven’t spent more the $30.00 there since the summer.

  46. Bonnie

I checked online around 6 this morning b4 I left the house…it said online they were also offering the Emerson…got to the store..there was one Element left..I asked if the Emerson’s were included and was treated like crp for asking as if I was stupid for asking such an outlandish thing..then someone went and scanned the Emerson’s… as they thought I left that area…and found out they were part of it today…. (no apology for their being clueless and assuming it was me that was) so, I did get one…but, had to wait until 8 to checkout with it..and put up with ridiculous attitude ..no signage in store…and employees apparently had no clue what was really going on…there were maybe 3 people waiting to get tv’s…hardly any shoppers at all in the store…

  47. shari groat

My daughter was at walmart at 7:00 am and stood in line to get the T.V. While she was at the store waiting, I went online and was able to order one also with the store-pick up option. Two T.V.s , no hassle……….thanks for posting the great deal!!

  48. MiisNoel

I really can’t get over the “frenzy” of this and many more “NON” Black Friday deals to come. (It’s a WEEK before the actual Black Friday?) At this point, they should just do away with Thanksgiving all together and make the entire month of November about sales/shopping. Gone are the reasons to “give thanks.” It’s sad.

    • Nancy

AGREED! I am a black friday shopper, have been for years. Then the stores started at midnight…which was crap…When they opened at midnight it was nothing but RUDE pre-teens drinking Starbucks and wasting space in the store because they were talking to friends and not helping their parents which is why they were there in the first place. Now it has moved to THANKSGIVING afternoon…give me a break. So no time with families like thanksgiving is supposed to be. And I feel bad for the people who have to work and put up with the Entitled people. I will still shop but on Friday like it’s supposed to be. If I don’t get what I am looking for its not a big deal…I will move on.

  49. Annette Giampino Rowland

Shame on Walmart is right my husband drove to our Walmart (30 mins away) to purchase the TV for our PTA Raffle. He arrived before 8 am, the store had opened at 7 am and the TV’s were allowed to be sold before 8am when he got in there no TV’s. We called Walmart spoke with the manager only to be told they had 6 TV’s and won’t get anymore. I will almost gaurantee each store only got 6. We were told the store should not have put them out or sold them till 8 am but there was nothing they could do it’s just dirty they will lure people in all week with people hoping they get restocked unbeknownst to them they have no intention of getting anymore the whole week. (side note while hubby was there he heard an employee tell a man who was pretty angry at the situtaion about the TV that they would have more Sat night) but hmmmm….the manager says no more.

    • June Ann Martin

We live in Maryland and our store never had any at all to sell.
