I just got glasses in for my daughter from ZenniOptical. The quality is very good for the price. The reason I ordered from ZenniOptical is because one of your readers recommended it in the comments section. It’s $6.95 plus shipping for a whole pair of glasses with lots of styles to choose from. Really great deal! Thanks so much! [/h2s_box]

I ordered from Zenni last year. They were super cheap (like $20 shipped for 2 pair). One pair was very crooked and I couldn’t straighten them out. I sent a pic to them and they have good customer service and replaced them. I use them for spare pairs (for when contacts come out), and I can leave a pair at my moms house or whatever. I do find them to have a TON of glare, so for me these would not be practical for everyday use. If I were to order again I would probably upgrade to a lens with less glare (is that possible??). Anyway, good for the money, but I would not expect much more than you are paying for.

Hi, Jamie. For the glare, it’s called AR(anti-reflective)coating.

I agree– except on my next purchase I DID upgrade to the no glare (I think it was only $5 or so?) and they were as good as any pair I would pay $200 for! I also got a few pairs of cheap sunglasses for $12 (just use the tint option) which was AWESOME because I tend to misplace prescription sunglasses ๐Ÿ™‚

I ordered from them a few months ago. Had to pay more for thinner lenses because of my prescription. Picked a style that is rimless on the bottom but still was only $30. Great deal considering this style would have been $150 through my eye doctor. They fit great! Happy customer here. ๐Ÿ™‚ Highly recommend.

I got 3 pair for $18,95 shipped. Worth a shot. Thanks

has anyone ordered sunglasses from them? if so, are they dark enough. Thanks

    • Emilytwinmom

I have bought lots of prescription sunglasses, and always go with either the dark gray tint, or the gradient gray. The gradient isn’t very dark, but the gray is super dark!

I ordered 2 pairs last year. Both were the same frame width. but one pair is so tight I can’t wear them. The frame broke on the other pair after 6 months of wear. (I only wear them about one hour per day.) I was able to glue them back together. I still think they were an okay deal if you only wear your glasses occasionally. Everyday wear-buy elsewhere.

I ordered from Zenni a couple months ago and was VERY satisfied. I bought a pair of “vintage looking” cat eye glasses with rhinestone accents. I wear them all the time and get so many compliments. They are so comfortable, and my prescription is -9.50 in both eyes, and they are not heavy at all. Definitely splurge on the anti-reflective coating, though. I could not imagine not having it.

I have four people in my family wearing zenni glasses, started ordering them for my twins when they were three. The kids have broken a good few pairs, but my husband and I have worn them happily for years without an issue. I broke one pair of plastic framed glasses once, but I stepped on them! At an optician my very strong script glasses average $700+, through zenni i average $70 per pair. Paying this little has allowed me to branch out and get “fun” glasses, and i finally get a new pair every year because I can afford it!

What are the requirements for this? I’ve added 3 pair of glasses to my account and entered the code and it accepted it but it’s not taking it off of my total. It says “Buy Two Get One for FREE is applied to order.
This promotion will be active until your order matches the necessary criteria.”

    • Tiffany A.

Never mind. I spoke to customer service and apparently it’s because one of the pairs of glasses my son chose was on sale. I figured they would just give me that one free since it was the cheapest but none of the 3 pair can be sale items. Just FYI.
