I get an error “Sorry, we were unable to verify your order. This is my first time with this site how do you use the bonus $5 Gyft card. Is it only to buy more gift cards. I got the Amazon $25 for $20. Can you use the Gyft at stores and online or only to buy more cards on their site?
You can use the gyft card to buy other gifts cards on their site ($15 or more) I did this deal a few days ago:
Sign up – get free $5 gyft card
Buy (1) Amazon Gift Card for $15, used gyft card, paid only $10
Checked out through Google and they gave me a $5 toysrus gift card
Total – $10 for $20 worth of gift cards!!
You can also turn around and do collins deal – buy $25 Amazon (or any other site) gift card, use promo code FDFAMILY, and pay $20.
All together you will have paid $30 for $45 in gift cards! $15 free!!

I signed up for a new account, used the $5 credit to get a papa johns gift card for $10, went through ebates, and paid with Google wallet to get a $5 toys r us promo card. Then I bought a $25 chilis gift card for $29 using the promo code, and went through ebates. We are trying to stock up on our gift cards for eating out since there are so many promos right now! Somewhat off topic, but Victoria’s Secret is offering $25 off $125 this Sunday only. I’m wondering if secret rewards can be used in the transaction to count towards the $125. I use Gyft often, it’s a great way to convert Paypal money (from ibotta or survey companies) to gift cards with discounts. I’ve only had 2 issues ever with Gyft: once the error page kept happening during an order so I used a different browser (like someone mentioned above) and once Victoria’s Secret refused to accept a gift card I had on my mobile Gyft app. I ended up printing it out from Gyft’s website and taking it back a few days later to use, worked just fine. My favorite thing about Gyft is that you can take your current plastic gift cards from just about anywhere and load them in the app and free up space in your wallet.

I got an e-mail that says this: “Unfortunately we do not have that feature as of yet. You can add a new credit card with dummy numbers to remove the old credit card numbers. You should see a button that says add new card to change.”

I got $15 amazon gift card for $10 and with a $5 toysrus gc using the signup up code. and then a $25 Amazon card for $20 using fdfamily code…so in total i got $40 amazon gc and paid $30 with a $5 toys r us gc to use 🙂 I got the codes right away and is able to use it immediately! 🙂 Oh yeah i forgot to mention I did this through ebates offering 2.5% cashback. 🙂 🙂
I did exactly the same! Can’t figure out where my Toys R Us $5 code is. I downloaded Google Wallet for iPhone, and clicked on the claim code in the email. Said it was saved in my Google Wallet but I can’t find it.

I did this through swagbucks the other day and got 450 points and it was a piece of cake. They also threw in a $5 gyft card that is good within 90 days for any purchase of $15 or more – so I’m already thinking about which gift card I’m going to buy next. 🙂

Well..I went through the motions, put in the code..and paid FULL PRICE for my gift card…I thought it would take it off before it processed, but nope…I guess I didn’t follow the rules
Well..I just got off the phone with GYFT..I guess i thought this would be $5 off a $25 gift card…but what it really was is–pay $25 for a gift card and THEN you will have $5 in your account for you next gift card purchase….

I’m calling them again–i know it’s only $5..BUT..I think the rep gave me wrong info…she said “you have a $5 credit” …no..I have 5 points..that’s not nearly $5..Plus..I do have a $5 gift card in my “wallet” but it was there since the day I signed up! I’ll let you know what happens!
Thanks, yeah let me know. It appears as though its still working as someone new posted that they had success. If you go to your account on Gyft and under your name at the top right there is a drop down, click order history and look under the title “PAID” and check to see if you really were charged the full $25 or only the $20, just to make sure! I did this less than 5 minutes ago. It deducted $5 off my $25 gc purchase. On my order history, it says I purchased a $25gc for $20. I just used my $25 gc at foot locker.com before commenting her and order went through fine. Mine worked with no problem at all.
