How do you get the gift card If you order it online? do they include the gift card in your shipment?

Here’s what the terms state: If you choose to pick up your item at the store, your gift card will be delivered after you have picked up the qualifying item. If you choose a physical gift card, it will be sent to the address associated with your order and will ship separately.
How does this work? I just go buy the item and they hand me a gift card with the receipt?

If you purchase in store, when the item rings up, it prompts the cashier to give you a giftcard.
Heather, yes. That’s what usually happens. But I admit to always being a little bit nervous that they will forget to give it to me, so I check about it while they ring it up!
I ordered the Nerf Zombie Crossbow earlier this morning to be shipped to my house. I had the option of having the $5 gift card emailed or text to me 🙂
I ordered The Beats by Dre and they will email the printable card within 4 hrs.
The card that’s emailed isn’t actually printable. It can still be used in stores, but you have to add it to your gift card account on the mobile app & then show that to the cashier. At least that’s how I’ve had to do it to be able to use it in store. HTH!
Is this an online only offer, or is the same offer available in stores? I would rather just go buy it instead of trying to intercept the package before my kids see it when it arrives. The item that I want is not available for store pick-up (but it is in stock at my store.)
Target will price match Target.com. Just take the item up to customer service and tell them you want to price match. I ‘ve never had a problem doing this.
I ordered from Target on Thanksgiving with gift card deal attached. I still have not received my items or card. When I called customer service to see where my order was, the recording at the beginning stated that due to the overwhelming gift card requests, they are behind. I looked on the Facebook page and they seem to be having a problem with shipping and ordering. I also placed an order online and when I went to the store to pick it up, they did not have it, and it was not in stock. Just a word of caution.
This is online only!!! I just rushed to store to buy and nothing comes out for gc. I went to customer service and she wasnt gonna give it to me but finally said she would. I got the mip, thanks collin but please note only only
