My husband said that Wal-Mart won’t ad match prices from auction sites like Amazon. Not sure if it’s true for all Wal-Mart’s, but for his store they do not – just an FYI.
Amazon is not an auction site. There is no bidding. Ebay is an auction site.
I’m not sure how Walmart’s price matching policy is but maybe they can honor Bestbuy.com..I’s also priced $1.99 there 🙂
Wal-mart did recently change their match pricing policy due to some fraud activity during Black Friday. (People were creating fake PS game system listings for under $100, and then using that fake ad to get the system discounted at Wal-mart.) Wal-mart’s current policy states: Prices from marketplace and third-party sellers (will not be honored). Prices from auctions or requiring memberships (will not be honored). The Amazon listing for Narnia says “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.” Wal-Mart SHOULD honor the price.

If you have a prime membership, you can choose “no rush shipping” at check out, they give you a $1 credit to use on the digital music or ebooks.
I do this all the time but never know where to look to see my credits. Can you tell me? Thanks!
The easiest way I found is to put in the name of a mp3 song and go to its page, and then over to the right where you’d normally click to buy the song, below that there is a place to click that says “Redeem a gift card or promotion code & view balance” – you can click on that to show your balances. There should be an easier way but that’s the only reliable way I’ve found to check my promo balance. Hope that helps even if it’s not the officially correct way to do it.

On Walmart’s as match policy it says they ad match Amazon.com
Walmart will no longer match third party prices from Amazon. This is because people were creating listings for items at very low prices in order to get that item from Walmart at the low price. Items listed and sold by Amazon are still price matched.

Maybe okay for the 7 year old? But I doubt it for the 5 year old. I guess it all depends on what they are used to watching, but I know my 5 year old would be scared.
