lego book still 19.99 for me:-/

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s $19.99… but you can use the code BOOKDEAL25 – which will drop the cost to only $14.99! 🙂

  2. Alyssa

Any idea why this code didn’t work for me?? 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Alyssa,

Is the book you are trying to purchase sold and shipped by Amazon.com?

  3. Lina

I have a $10 Victora Secret gift card and a $30 Tiny prints code. If anyone would like to trade, please email me at lionss4321@gmail.com
    Thank you

  4. Erin

YAY, was just reviewing my kiddos bookshelf last night thinking we needed some new stuff! Bought him a new Elephant and Piggie book…several of them are already on sale for $6.00 so these are extra cheap after the code!

  5. photograpfarr

If you are buying more than 1 book, you can place multiple orders to get more than one $1 shipping credit (if you’re a Prime member.) 🙂

    • Emily

The promo code will only work once per account though right?

      • photograpfarr

I think it is more than once per account, as long as you do more than one transaction. I have purchased an item a few days ago, received the $1 credit. Bought a book on sale tonight, got another $1 credit. Put another in my cart after my first checkout tonight to see if I could get another $1 credit, and the option for the no-rush shipping IS showing, although I didn’t check out, I just wanted to see if it would appear as an option and it did.

        Here are the terms:
If you received your credit from the No-Rush Shipping program on or before 11/7, different terms apply.
        Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. PT March 31, 2015.
Offer only applies to Amazon Instant Video, Amazon Digital Music, and Kindle books sold and delivered by Amazon Digital Services, Inc. (other than certain limited Kindle book titles and select Amazon Instant Video titles).
Offer does not apply to physical goods.
Digital content and services may only be available to customers located in the U.S. and are subject to the terms and conditions of Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
This is a shipping offer related to your Prime subscription; it is not a discount on items purchased.
Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time.
Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.
Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order.
If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies.
If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid.
Unless an Amazon Gift Card is the stated benefit of the promotion, promotional codes (including those placed directly in accounts) may not be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.

      • Tiffany

I could only use it once per account

  6. Kristie

Too bad it’s a 10 max hubby has a 500 text book to order for school.

    • Elaine

Omg! $500 ? That’s crazy. Try to get it used if possible because it’s cheaper. I’ve ordered my books from Amazon. My semester is ending in a week so people might be trading theirs in.

    • Cynthia

      What about renting it?

    • Jess

Have you looked on abebooks.com for it? I’ve had good luck with finding various used books on there.

    • Katie

Yes try renting. Barnes & Nobels rents books as well as Amazon. I ended up saving a TON of money renting

    • Angelina

I always went through dealoz.com and tried to get international versions of the book–wayyy cheaper w/ the same content!

      • Ashley57

See if he can use one edition back…I saved tons of money that way and it is nearly the same book!

    • Jen

      Chegg.com. Stress free renting 🙂

    • Shannon

I know how he feels. My physics books range from 200-400 bucks. But if you go to ebay and put in the isbn number you can get the international addition for significantly cheaper. The U.S publishers try to make it seem like its illegal to buy them here but if it is for individual use then it is not. Most of them are soft back and have a different cover but everything inside the book is the same all the way down to the practice problems/questions. And they are in English. Valorebooks also sells intl additions I think.

  7. katie

Thank you for posting! Got the Dave Ramsey “book” which will double as my wallet!

  8. Jamie

This wouldn’t work when I chose no rush shipping but did work when I chose my free 2 day shipping with prime. Hmm…think Amazon would’ve been better off with giving me no rush and the $1 credit than 2 day shipping! 🙂

    • Sarah

That is odd. I used BOOKDEAL25 and the no rush shipping with no problem

  9. Heather C

Oh, thank you…. I just couldn’t resist ordering Dave Ramsey’s envelope system for MYSELF! 😁

  10. becky

got the Dave Ramsey as well 🙂 been wanting this for a while now so glad I waited ty

  11. amy

Tried using the code on the 3 year kids diary and it says the code does not apply?

  12. mamabug

I used this code to pick up the 4 book Divergent set for my daughter. It was on her list to Santa. My husband, after sawing this post, used it in his account to order me the envelope system. We are debt free thanks to Dave Ramsey but have never used physical envelopes (always used a virtual envelope system). I am intrigued. 🙂

    • Mary

Hi Mamabug, what other book/system of Dave Ramsey’s did you use to become debt free? Thanks!

    • Kerryiu

I’ve been on Dave Ramsey’s plan for over a year & in less than a week i’ll forever be debt-free! I have the starter envelope version & this deluxe version i’ve always wanted! Snagged mine for $5 after Amazon gift card

      • Mary

Hi–is it the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Envelope system book? Thanks–I just saw a few books and want to make sure I get the correct one 🙂

        • Kerryiu

I’m not too sure, i purchased the starter bundle that came with 13 lessons on audio CDs, Total Money Makeover book, Complete Guide to Money book, & starter envelope system

          • photograpfarr

I did FPU 8 years ago and my starter kit came with a system that is just envelopes in a cover; I would imagine your set comes with one like this:
            http://www.daveramsey.com/store/prod172.html
More bare bones but essentially the same.
The one Collin listed has a place for debit cards and a notepad too.

        • photograpfarr

Yes it is. If anything it is “fancier” than the one that comes in the FPU kit.

  13. Milk Allergy Mom

I got Susan branch journals at Barnes and Noble last year for $2! Using them as gifts this year

  14. jarrod

Amazon is terrible, thats why it does not work, they only care about big profits, jeff bezos needs another plane.

  15. Angelina

How do you know if your $1 book credits from choosing the slower shipping have been applied or not? Do you need to manually apply it some how?

    • Angelina

Nevermind, just read the fine print on using your credit. 🙂

    • KrazyV

Mine was applied when my item shipped. They email you when the credit is applied.

    • Amy

They will add it to your account themselves. I think they wait until your item ships?? I received an email when they gave me the $1 credits.

    • April

It comes up automatically. I had one show up ;). Now they are only for ebooks

  16. jl

    Thanks for the reminder!!

  17. audrea

  24. Megan

The Brickmaster books are $13.99 at my Costco.

  25. Sherry

Got the skinny tastes cookbook for myself. :). Been wanting it for a while. And the $1 credit for my husband’s kindle books. Win-win.

    • Natalie

I LOVE that cookbook! I treated myself for my birthday in October, and so far my entire family likes everything I’ve made from that book. I hope you love it as much as I do!

  26. D

For kids, I also suggest any of the Clemmie books by Teresa Scott Woodside! She is an Alexandria, VA local who writes and illustrates them. I happen to know her and the books are delightful! Our favs are The Seashore and Lighthouse Keepers!

  27. book deal

Is this deal over? I can’t get it to work on anything. :/

  28. HipMama89

This is on the amazon site for details on using the dollar book credit.
