I think it is more than once per account, as long as you do more than one transaction. I have purchased an item a few days ago, received the $1 credit. Omg! $500 ? That’s crazy. Try to get it used if possible because it’s cheaper. I’ve ordered my books from Amazon. My semester is ending in a week so people might be trading theirs in.
What about renting it?
Have you looked on abebooks.com for it? I’ve had good luck with finding various used books on there.
Yes try renting. Barnes & Nobels rents books as well as Amazon. I ended up saving a TON of money renting
I always went through dealoz.com and tried to get international versions of the book–wayyy cheaper w/ the same content!
See if he can use one edition back…I saved tons of money that way and it is nearly the same book!

I know how he feels. My physics books range from 200-400 bucks. But if you go to ebay and put in the isbn number you can get the international addition for significantly cheaper. The U.S publishers try to make it seem like its illegal to buy them here but if it is for individual use then it is not. Most of them are soft back and have a different cover but everything inside the book is the same all the way down to the practice problems/questions. And they are in English. Valorebooks also sells intl additions I think.

Mine was applied when my item shipped. They email you when the credit is applied.
They will add it to your account themselves. I think they wait until your item ships?? I received an email when they gave me the $1 credits.
