Already did this deal twice this week (along with the figures that I price matched for $9 w/ a $5 GC back). Bought starter pack plus 2 figures for $58, got back $30 in GC. Bought a 2nd starter pack and 2 more figures for $58, paid with my previous GCs, so $28 OOP and got back another $30 in GCs.

You can’t do this on Walmart.com. In order to get the gift card on Walmart.com you have to pay the advertised price of $13.96 for the figure.
The gift cards are only in-store. you have to price match the website to get it for $9.
Gift cards are available online. They just done let you “double dip.” You have to buy the product for the advertised price of $13.96 not the sale price of $9. Here is the link for the gift card on line

I went this morning and was able to grab this also. One thing to note, make sure the cashier is using a brand new gift card. Many cashiers try to reuse old ones but the system will not accept them. I had not one eye batted this morning and my store is usually nuterious for not allowing these types of deals. Good Luck!
I did the last deal posted for the $44 (I think) and shipped to store. I’ve already picked it up. Do you think they will still price match? And what do I need to do take in to price match? My email?
This only works if purchased in store. There is no gift card if ordered online. Too price match you need to pull up the price on WalMart.com on your smart phone and show it to them.
I bought online for $44 too. I called and they refunded the $5 difference. Quick and easy. My hubby’s at Walmart now to try the $20 gift card deal. Hope it works out. If not I’m still happy with this for $39.99.

I did this deal yesterday in store, and by mistake i grabbed the 2.0 toy box edition, pulled out the ad where it is listed for the $20 gift card and the nice cashier pointed out it was the wrong one, went back and grabbed the Marvel edition and the gift card prompted automatically even thought i priced matched to amazon for $39.99.

I sent my his husband to Walmart earlier tonight. He grabbed the wrong item (the higher priced set for $99.99). Two people told him they don’t price match Walmart.com but he insisted a supervisor finally said they did. They ended up not catching that it was the wrong item so they price matched it for the lower price and gave him the $20 gift card! I’m surprised they didn’t catch his mistake!

I purchased this for $35.99, along with the Guardians of the Galaxy Playset for $22.50 at Target (price match and coupons). And the Elsa figure for $9 at WalMart. But, saving an additional $16+$5 is so worth it!!! However, I live in So.Cal. and I really wonder if this will work for me! Decisions?

Could you purchase this for another system (XBox/Playstation) to get the deal and then even exchange it when one becomes available at a local store? Not exactly sure how WalMart would handle the return (like if there would be an issue since you received a Gift Card w/purchase), but I really can’t see why they wouldn’t let you “keep” the deal and just swap it out for a different gaming system as long as they were originally the same price. Just an idea!
I just did this about 30 mins ago! We had to get them to get a xbox one set from the stock room. Price matched at the cashier she got the manager because she wasnt sure if they match walmart.com price but they did and the register prompted her to give the gift card which she did! I got this at my Walmart, for the Wii U, no problems. It only took like 2 minutes, and the cashier didn’t bat an eyelash! I actually used a gift card to pay for it, so I made $20 of my GC back. In the end, I only ended up paying around $23! Such a steal!! Thanks Collin! 🙂
Had a super rude store manager refuse this tonight in so cal. He was so bad I actually called Walmart corporate and complained. Went to a different Walmart and they did it no problem. I think Walmart needs to clarify their policy if they are going to do this gc with purchase thing. I never have any issues at target!
This is my biggest concern … Typically in So.Cal. (I’m in Ventura County/Simi Valley) some of these deals are really hard to come by. It almost comes down to the luck of your Cashier/Manager.

I’m not sure if this would work, but it’s an idea and might be worth a try … Purchase/Price Match this deal for another gaming system that is still available online (PS3, PS4, XBox One) and then simply “even exchange” it for the right gaming system.
