yes, you do get the number that is normally on the back of the gift card. You can download the app and any of the retailers can scan the upc.

You’re right, Melissa. The Gyft card is essentially a different promo ($5 off $15) and can’t be combined with the PAYPAL5 promo. You can make 2 different purchases and use each code separately.

When I enter the code it shows the code is worth $5 off $25 but my total shows $25. I went through the PayPal checkout but was never able to see that I would only pay $20. Can anyone comment on this? I’ve bought a few with promo codes recently and my total showed $20 so I am hesitant on this one.
I had the same thing happen, but went ahead with it because my total on the Paypal website showed that I was paying $20. Now in my Paypal ledger, it shows that I paid $20 and I have a $25 gift card on Gyft.com.

May sound like an odd question, but can I use my Gyft.com Target gift card to buy a physical plastic gift card in the store? Or add money onto an existing plastic card?
I have used electronic Target gift cards to buy physical plastic gift cards online with no issues, so I believe it would work! I don’t know about adding to an existing card…
Yes you can get a plastic target giftcard.
Just pay with the online gyft barcode.
I couldn’t get the gyft wallet app to work, so I just pulled up the giftcard cert, on my iPod, took a photo (screen shot), then just showed the photo to pay.

It would not take the PAYPAL5 promo code but gave me 50 points for using paypal. Is that the same as $5.00.
