  1. Mandy

it says that the cases are $9.99 each not $53.99?

  2. Sara

The case is coming up $9.99. Is this a mistake? If not it could be a real money maker!!

    • Linda

That’s the price after the $44 rebate.

    • Heather

That is the normal after rebate price. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Meredith M

It’s coming up that way AFTER rebate. I thought the same thing. It’s telling you the price after you submit for rebate ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. pam

I can not find the 10 ream case. The link takes you to one ream for 9.99 .

    • Cassandane

Each case has 10 reams of paper

  5. Rachel

Thanks! Perfect timing was in need of paper!

  6. Mirsi

How long does it take to get the rebate?

  7. lorrie

The visa rebate prepaid card for $44 is that good anywhhere or only staples? Does anyone know how long it takes to get the visa cards? Thanks

    • brandice

      Good anywhere

  8. Michele

I will be paying about $9.21 in tax after the $30 discount and (3) $44 cards coming. Thanks

    • lancy

      so the tax is $9+?

      • Dawn

yeah…my total was $140.22. So minus the $132.00 rebate….I’ll end up paying $8.22 for 30 reams of paper. I’ve done this deal on several different occasions Collin posts it. thanks Hip2Save!!!!

        • shannon

…and if you purchase through Saving Star, you will earn back 6% so $8.41 back in your account. So basically free after all is said and done (or better than free after you get 3-5% back through Staples Rewards!)

  9. Michele

The rebate says 8-11 wks for delivery of $44 cards.

  10. Tami

It says limit 1 on the website for the cards? How do you get 3 of them?

    • Shawna

Does it say that? I couldn’t find anything saying how many rebate cards! If we get only one, I’ll definitely be returning the other boxes.

    • Shawna

Does it say that? I couldn’t find anything saying how many rebate cards! If we get only one, I’ll definitely be returning the other boxes. Maybe you submit the rebate three times.

    • Steph

Just read through the fine print and it says “4” for the rerbate limit not “1”.

    • Missie B.

      It states ”
Easy Rebate offer. Limit 4. Valid in-store, online or by phone with free shipping!
Offer Expires on 01/10/2015″ on the page linked above right under the price for the paper. The Visa Pay $30.00 off a $150.00 purchase is limited to one use.

  11. lorrie

Are the rebate cards like any visa card or can it only be used at staples?

    • Steph

Read the fine print. Yes, you can use anywhere and it is not a fast rebate, 8 to 12 weeks. I submitted rebates (both Staples and Visa) back in Nov. and I am still waiting. Great deal but if you want a fast rebate you have to wait awhile.

    • Agata

its a visa card good anywhere

  12. Shawna

Lorrie, the rebate card is good anywhere Visa debit is accepted. It says to expect 8-11 weeks for your card to come (though I’m always hopeful that it will come sooner!)
Also, shipping is free even without being a staples member.

  13. Linda Frazier

Is it good only in store or also online ( if you select home delivery)?

  14. Heather

Just noticed it is 8-11 weeks to get the rebate.

  15. Melissa

I have a bunch of ink cartilages to recycle and I have held off because the store associate told be in order to get rewards for recycling my ink I have to actually spend money shopping there, I could use this paper but not sure if I can also recycle my ink and have this work so I can get some credits on my ink.

    • Elizabeth

You have to spend a certain amount on ink before they give you credit for empty ink cartridges. I’m not sure the amount but I think it is $60. So you can only get ink rewards if you buy ink. And if you use the ink rewards to get the paper they will reduce your rebate by the amount of the rewards used. So, if you have $10 in ink rewards and use them to buy the paper your rebate for the paper will be $10 less b/c you used the ink rewards. I hope that makes sense.

      • Steph

I have made this mistake before. Use it for something else or more ink unless you want your rebate amount reduced.

        • Melissa

Thanks for the heads up. I actually have not been buying the name brand ink and probably won’t for a while I got a pretty god deal on comandsave for ink and m stocked on ink for while. I have bout 12-15 name brand ones I need to figure out what to do with them I am hoping to get $$ on them since that’s why I have been saving them ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Erica L

You have to buy $30 (OOP) worth of ink every 180 days in order to be able to recycle. You can use rewards on items with rebates and still get the full rebate back.

    • ecurbasil

Current Policy: Earn $2 back in rewards for every ink or toner cartridge you recycle when you’ve spent $30 on ink or toner over the previous 180 days. Base members can recycle up to 10 cartridges per month. Plus and Premier members can recycle up to 20 cartridges per month.

  16. Donna B

Cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted!

    • Steph

      Yes

  17. Sara

2% cash back for ebates and shop@home

    • Shawna

Dang it, I keep forgetting about ebates.

  18. Becky

Do I have to submit the rebate 3 times, or just once, to get the 3 cards?

    • Agata

it says on the website to submit each rebate separate

      • Steph

You can submit all 4 once or all together.

      • Melissa

Good to know thank YOU!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. fortcypher

You still have to pay tax, so it’s not free, but $7.98. Still not too bad!

    • Sarah

upromise is 5% back so only ends up being around a couple of dollars.

  20. breadhead

Is it 100% sure that we can get the rebates? It is hard for me to try out to pay over $100.. ๐Ÿ™

    • Steph

Then it might be better if you wait for the individual reams with a rebate. They come around every few weeks. I’m still waiting on my rebate from Nov. for the individual reams that were .01 each after rebate and the limit then was 4. You wouldn’t have to shell out as much upfront that way.

      • breadhead

Hi Steph, Yeah I agree. I did some rebates on Staples on Nov. two one cent rebates, $30 rebate for Kindles and two 5 ream papers ( 2x$24? I forgot the exact price.) I will get them between Feburary and March.
20 years ago, I bought a printer with Rebate on Staples and never came back. My husband did that decades ago, never came back.
He hates rebates on Staples…so hopefully I can prove it by these if I am successful. Thanks for your reply, Steph.

  21. Becky

If you place one order for all three cases, then you only need to submit one rebate request.

  22. Teri

I see that if I submit by mail I do each rebate separately but what about submitting online? Does it automatically do it for 3 with one order number? Or do I submit 3 different times online with the same order number?

    • Teri

Under the FAQ it says I only have to submit once when entering items that have the same SKU but since I don’t have to enter the SKU I’m not sure.

      • Teri

Just chatted with rep and they same items on the same online purchase only need one rebate IF submitted online. If you did it 3 times online it will only recognize the first rebate and will pick up the multiple items. The other rebate submissions will be cancelled so it should all work out fine.

  23. Michele

Idont know but I summitted it three times. I would think it would recognize I bought three and summit it all at once ,but I not taking changes.

    • pam

Did you buy it and then do the rebate right way? I signed up for the rebate online and it let me set it up but said something about collecting offers or something but wanted me to fill out the delivery section. I did put in my order number when it asked but it never showed the actual rebate but said thats for sending it the rebate and gave me a tracking number. Going to have to keep an eye on this.

    • pam

I just said the same thing! 15,000 sheets of paper will last a life time for coupons lol

  24. Sandra

Does anyone know if you can submit a rebate form prior to your order shipping? It looks like you can online, it just says “Your rebate eligibility is still being determined” I’d love to submit right now based on just my order form #, but don’t want to if it will just create errors or problems. Thanks in advance

    • breadhead

I don’t know about this copy paper, but I read someone who submitted $30 rebate for Kindles on Staples have gotten ” error” problems… I also ordered the kindles and worked. I am little worried to try out for that to be honest.

  25. Melissa

Wow, thanks love shopping from home and getting it delivered free!

  26. Marissa

    • Kayla

I had no idea that SavingStar had online offers too! Thanks for sharing!

    • Crystal

      Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

    • katherine

i looked under saving star but did not see offer for staples 6% back

      • shannon

go under” Online Shopping” and type in Staples and it will come up

        • Linda

I don’t even see “online shopping” in my savingstar app ;-(

          • Kayla

I logged into SavingsStar from my desktop computer. This was my first time, so not sure if that was the correct way!

    • Peach

I haven’t signed up for SavingStar before. Does anyone have a referral link they’d like me to use?

  27. Cassandra

You rock chick!!!! Thank you for creating such an awesome site with awesome deals- I’m addicted!! ๐Ÿ™‚ thank YOU!

    • nicolegammeter

So glad to help, Cassandra! ๐Ÿ™‚

  28. Cassandane

    5% rebate at Upromise

  29. Just Me

So it’s in stock at my store but I can’t add it to my cart. Just to favorites

  30. Diane

This offer would be a great way to help out a teacher. Many schools ration supplies theses days.

    • Amani

I wish someone would donate to my husband’s classroom. The principal removed all paper from the copier machine and teachers have to go to their department head for paper, but the department head does not have any :/. I wish we had an extra $130 to pay for the upfront cost of this deal!

    • Nicole

This is so true!!! We donate paper to our school too – they get a supplies “allowance” from the district and the free paper from Staples helps them spend their money on other office supplies. Last year we donated 10 cases that we just paid tax for. You can take the full price of the paper (Fair Market Value: https://www.irs.gov/publications/p561/ar02.html#d0e139) as a tax deduction, so we ended up giving our school 100 reams of paper and we got a $112 tax cut. Win-Win!

    • clare

thx! we do the same, donate to our child’s aftercare program whenever we can get to staples.

      • Juanita

I just gave my best friend 8 reams of paper for Christmas that I’ve been saving up from the Staples deals. She only gets 1 ream a month, so I decorated the front of each ream with inspirational teacher quotes in crayon. She loved it!

  31. Jenn

I just recently did the deal for one case for $1 with the Visa rebates. Can I do this deal also (or since it is the same paper (just bigger case) will it see that I already requested the Visa cards and not recognize these sine there was a limit of 4 on the prior deal as well? Sine the first was a limit of 4, will it count those 4 towards this limit of 4? I hope that question makes sense….

  32. Crystal

If you enter the promo code “63869” instead of using Visa Checkout, you can get a 25% discount, which will equal $40.49- making this a MM. You can’t use both discounts though.

    • R

I tried using this code and it wouldn’t work. I called and they surprisingly said paper does not qualify as “office supplies”. So the code won’t work on this offer.

      • Ashely

I tried also and it wouldn’t take it

    • Kay

This code wouldn’t work for me, even though I had over $75. I did 2 boxes of paper but it said nothing in my order qualified. Did it work for you?

      • Crystal

Yes, it worked for me when I called in.

  33. Tammy

Got them!! Thank u, love free paper.

    • nicolegammeter

      Me too! ๐Ÿ™‚

  34. Stefanie

Am I the only one who is having trouble locating the Visa Checkout?

  35. Judy Trac

How does the free visa checkout work?

  36. Nancy

I found the Visa Checout but once I click on it, the screen just grays out and won’t take me anywhere. Anyone else having this issue? I’m on my iPhone… Wondering if a desktop would work better?

    • Sara

I ordered it all from my iPhone. Even was able to submit rebate and got a confirmation for that too! Woot!

      • Nancy

        thanks Sara! I’ll keep trying!

      • kelly hearn

I submitted for the rebate and only had to put in my order # and zipcode. Then it said it was submitted. Is that all I had to do?

  37. Lindsay

    Thank you!

  38. mommy81

so easy to do the rebate, just ordered the reams online got my order number and went to staples easy rebate.com and just had to enter order number ,zip code and address and they sent me e mail that says my rebates were successfully completed and wait 8-11 weeks . thanks

    • kelly hearn

oh, that’s what I just asked about the thread above. Seemed to easy, but that’s what I did too!

  39. Eve

6% back if you go through Savingstar ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Linda

I don’t see it on my savingstar app ๐Ÿ™

  40. DianeNC

Has anyone had any problem getting the Purrell deal for free? If we use both the Staples coupon and the mfr coupon, it technically will exceed the $1.99 sale price by one cent, and am thinking they won’t allow the coupons to exceed the price of the item.

    • Kelly

      I’m wondering the same thing!

  41. Cheryl E

Thanks for such a great deal! I’ll keep some of the paper and donate the rest to our school.

    • nicolegammeter

      ๐Ÿ˜€

  42. PrintingMama

This is an amazing deal! Now to find a way to make ink costs cheaper…

  43. Kate

THANK YOU! This is sooooo super easy!
    – Go thru ebates.com = 2% back……..earned $2.62.
    – Used my AmEx card for payment during the ‘Visa Checkout’ = earned 2% thru AmEx……earned another $2.62.
    – Already submitted for the Staples Easy Rebate = 3 x $44 Visa Cards……will receive $132.
    – Also, am already a Staples Rewards Member…..so earned something….not sure what…..too excited to figure it out right now.
    – Overall: SWEETNESS!!!
Thanks Collin et al at Hip2Save!!!

  44. Ty

Can I submit all three $44 rebates online by just entering in my order number? Or will it only give me back one $44 rebate?

    • Kate

Ty, If you purchased 3 in one online transaction then all 3 will come up with that 1 order number. Apply that 1 order number during the rebate process and you should receive 3 x $44 rebates.
Just in case, I printed out a copy of my purchase receipt showing 3 items.
I also printed out a copy of my confirmation of my submitted rebate.
SO, if I should have a problem later in receiving 3 rebate VISA cards, I have documentation to take to my store.
BUT my experience has been very good with STAPLES and haven’t had to go to stores to get additional rebates.
      Hope this helps! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Ty

That helps a lot! Thanks, I just didn’t know if they would only give me one rebate back or not, even though I bought 3 in one transaction. ๐Ÿ™‚

  45. Malia

    Thanks! Got 3!

    • nicolegammeter

      Yay! ๐Ÿ™‚

  46. lulu

The visa reward states a min of 150 dollars? Is this correct?

  47. Niki

I have a coupon for 20$ off 100$ will I still get my rebates of 44$ . So I buy 2- it comes to 107$, use my 20$ off of 100$ and then pay OOP 87.98

    • Just Me

I got the same coupon! Hope it works!

  48. pam

The rebate form does say in store ONLY in bold print on the ‘only’. I called our store and they said on this one it is only valid on purchases in store…is that true?

    • pam

If you are printing out the form there two of them listed. One is for store only and the other is for staples.com only so go back and print the other one ๐Ÿ™‚

  49. pam

I checked online and it says it qualifies for the rebate…ahhh! Has anyone done this b4?
