Does Christmas Clearance at Rite Aid ever go to 90%off?
It depends on the manager, but normally, no. Most of the time the items are “recalled”, which means returned for credit after 75%.
Yeah I was told my riteaid sends the stuff back after 75 %…
I was surprised to find at my local Rite Aid, just days after Christmas, everything Christmas related had been removed from the store and replaced with Valentine’s Day stuff. I was hoping to find some Christmas clearance but no such luck. Same thing at another Rite Aid the next town over. I did find some wrapping paper there but everything else was gone. I hope that is not the new normal.
That should not be the new normal. What it could be is that your district manager in your area wanted to get valentines stuff immediately so they did that. Which would explain why the next rite aid was the same.
This is awesome! Need 60 candy bars for a bridal shower and this will make it a lot less out of pocket!
You may want to take note of the expiration date since they’re party favors. The peelie coupons normally go on products expiring in just a matter of weeks (sometimes the same month).
I was just going to say that. Rite Aid uses the green peelie coupons on food items nearing their expiration date. It makes for some great deals if you will use it right away. Chocolate can be placed in the freezer to “hold” it so you can use it at a later date (or to save for those monthly chocolate cravings!)
Just keep an eye on the expiry dates on candy. The one which had a coupon was expiring soon.

You can use TWO pealies. $.15 for two candy bars.
I think Collin is going by the official RA policy, which is that no coupon can be used on a free item. However, my store handles these differently because the products are short-dated. They will gladly accept peelies on these because they’re going to expire and they want them gone. 🙂
You cannot use two coupons, when you put your card in it will have all these .50 cent coupons that are un applied because of the free ones. I wk at RiteAid and it is a mess when that happens. Best to get one that’s fresher and one w/ a .50 cent coupon.
At work at Rite Aid in Virginia and we allow customers to use two of the peelie coupons on b1g1 free sales.
I am a Rite Aid cashier in NC. We also allow customer to use two peelie coupons on BoGo sales. It doesn’t cause any problems at all.
Wow there was so much at my store 75% off. Axe body wash, women’s body wash, tons of different types of soaps. I even scored an Frozen Anna flipeez winter hat. Also dream lites for 4.99!

Old spice bar soap was only 25% off at my Riteaid. Just came back from 2 of them in South Jersey.
Most everything 75% off was gone by noon at the 2 Rite Aid stores I checked in Spokane.

Yes it is only on the acai flavor. I just came back from checking the price on the other flavors, no go. Same with the tinted lip balm too. Aside from that, I found very few Physican’s Formula bronzers and blush on clearance for 50% and 75%, found some $3 peelies and 1 $5 peelie, used those and got 3 items for $2 plus tax. Super cheap. The peelies were not on all of them, so you have to search through all the boxes for those.
