When you sign up to be a Maven, you agree to receive a shipped box of products for about 20$ per month. They get your credit card info when you sign up for promos like these and you can’t change it nor remove it to get out of the monthly shipment. HOWEVER, you can call the help number and tell the representatives you no longer wish to receive a monthly box. They may ask if there is a specific reason but they will gladly remove you from the mail out list and you will not be charged.

i hope this is useful to some people: the colors in the Valentine’s box were not really my style, but i have been wanting to join Julep lately. SO, i chose a different introductory box (i think there are 4 to choose from) and i used the same code BEMINE, and it still worked, full price of box deducted.
THEN, i just added 2 sale items to my cart, and i got free shipping! (not sure what the minimum is for free ship, or how i qualified for that, but i was pleasantly surprised.)
Loved the stuff when promotion was there last time and didn’t have any problems whilst cancelling the subscription. Too expensive else would have kept the monthly
I was skeptical at first – after signing up on a previous promo a couple of months back, I read reviews and thought “Oh no, what have I gotten myself into?!” but I really liked the polishes so I’m sticking around for a while. I just got my first full-priced Maven box today ($25) and I think it was totally worth it – three polishes and one bonus polish. That makes them $6.25 each plus it came with a bit of candy and I love getting the tidy little box in the mail, great presentation. They dry pretty quickly and my favorite thing so far has been that the lighter cream pastel colors actually give good coverage – don’t go on too thin like other brands.
I try to by as close to vegan (animal cruelty free) as possible in all products and that’s not always easy with nail polishes but these fit the bill! If you’re really into nail polish and picky about ingredients like my daughter and I are, it’s worth a shot!

Yes I also wanted to warn that it was hard to cancel my membership, it took a long time to get it done. I emailed and called numerous times before it got cancelled.
I have been a Maven for about a year, and while i now how more polish that i probably should, what has kept me as a member has been their other beauty products. From their makeup (love their cream shadow and liner!) to their facial cleanser (i really love their Bare Face Oil Cleanser!).

Please beware! This company has an F rating on the BBB and often times when you call, there is simply a recording saying they cannot accept any more calls. I have an AWFUL experience with Julep and would never recommend them.
I was with Maven for over a year when they first started….it seems like a great deal and honestly it is really fun getting the polish in the mail every month! Here is my problem.
The polish does not last long. After using a bottle for a few times it dries out and is impossible to use. This to me is not a good deal. I loved the fact of healthier ingredients but the bottles are already smaller that you can but in the store so smaller and drying out quickly…..NOT A BARGIN!
