Can you price match and use cartwheel? It is showing up around $115 on amazon.

    • Mimi

Target’s official policy doesn’t allow it. However, it really varies from store to store.

I wouldn’t recommend buying a fitbit… I was so excited about getting my hubby and I one last summer… Now, 6 months later, it’s not working anymore… Doesn’t sync with my iPhone… So, it’s useless… Plus, the band keeps falling and breaks around the hole where one puts it in and out… There’s a blog for people who has this and everyone has the same issue regardless of the phone and operating system used… Very disappointing 😕

You can call them and they will replace everything free of charge for life time.

      • Sally

They will replace free of charge, they have great customer service.

    • Crystal

yes i have the fitbit zip and after about a year the battery wouldn’t fully charge. I emailed them and they sent me a new one. Great customer service.

    • Kristie

I am on my fifth fitbit since May. Many problems but they have always replaced free of charge. One tip is to buy from FitBit. I asked for a refund and can’t get one because I purchased from Best Buy.

    • Marija

I’ve had one since last Christmas, so a full year. I had a green band and it started separating about 6 months in. However, they sent me a new one and their customer service was great!

This is a different version of the fitbit than what you have.

The fitbit charge is one piece. There is nothing that can fall apart. I love my fitbit charge (got it for xmas). There are some quirks with the algorithm they use for syncing fitnesspal and fitbit (it gets confused with calories). But the sleep tracker and step counter are awesome. Also the vibrating alarm and vibration when you syn (via bluetooth) with your cellphone are awesome. I have fitbit charge, I have heard mixed things on the ChargeHR (mainly that it does a poor job of measuring heart rate).

Thank you everyone for your feedback. “Glad” I’m not alone with the fitbit problems and to read that their customer service is very helpful. I’ll go ahead and call them to see what happens. Hopefully they also replace mine and my hubby’s… Or, at least, help me figure out how to make them sync again 😊👍

      • laura

I just went through some trouble shooting and got mine to work again there is a TINY reset button on the charger under neath, you have to have it on there and you can reset it and my started to charge, and sync again.

Which fitness trackers allow you to earn the shop your way points? Is it the fitbit or a different brand? I thought I read somewhere you could with one of them? Thanks!!

    • Happymama

There are many brands that you can link your account with. The brands are: “BodyMedia”, “UP by Jawbone”, “Moves”, “Run Keeper”, “Fitbit”, “mapmy fitness”, “myfitnesspal” and “Withings”.

This list came directly from my FitStudio – the site you can earn SYW points. I have a UP band and love it. The FitStudio has really good info and workouts that you can watch at home. HTH!

      • Sue

I did link my fitbit buty fitstudio account never syncs the fitbit workout report. Tried mailing the fitstudio customer support but they never respond. Any suggestions how to do it and get the syw points?

      • NH

That helps so much thank you!!!

    • Kathleen

I didn’t know you could link and get SYW points! Thanks for the heads up!

  5. Stefanie

We have one and LOVE it! We’ve been using ours for about 3 months now. It works great, syncs with my iPhone and my hubby’s Android, and is a great motivator to loose weight and eat healthier. I would highly recommend the Charge!

  6. Karen

I got the fitbit zip. It clips to your clothing. Not a wristband. I love it.

  7. Jen

Thanks for posting! Seems like a great deal!

      You are welcome! 🙂

This was on the news last night in NJ. the information it provides is 15-40% false. I had to back off of this product.

  9. bearsbootsnblessings

I had the one in the picture until I accidentally washed it. No problems whatsoever. I upgraded to a Charge. I really like it but the stair tracker does not track properly. I still would pay the $50 difference. It is really worth it.

I had one and loved it. I highly recommend!!!!!

  11. Kathleen

I have an UP24 and it works great, haven’t had any problems staying synced to my iPhone. I needed some motivation to keep me on track with my fitness goals.

  12. lmartin87

Does this work on Fitbit Charge HR?

  13. Cat

I’ve had my fitbit over a year with no issues on charging or the band breaking. Just be sure to sync it before you wear it if you go long bouts without wearing it.

  14. Trina

I’ve had a FitBit One for two years now and I’ve had no problems. Every once in awhile it fights me a little to sync, has never failed to sync completely. I’ve replaced the case twice now because with a lot of on and off the little cap at the end pops off sometimes (it clips to your clothes, which I like so it doesn’t have to be visible). But the case is only about 10 bucks, and for all I know they may replace it, I just never tried. It still holds a charge really well, I wore it for almost two weeks on vacation once and it was still going when I got home. I’m really fighting the urge to buy the Charge now. I have heard complaints about the old wrist ones though, I just have had a good experience with mine.

  15. Jen

I recently got a FitBit One (its a clip on like the zip, but does the sleep recording like the wrist band varieties). It seemed to have better reviews than the wrist band types (namely due to the wristbands breaking, and those also seemed to have more complaints about syncing), so I choose the One and so far its been pretty cool. I just clip it to my bra and it works so much easier than a wristband for me – for one I don’t like the idea of wearing a wristband, and two its much easier for me to keep track of (don’t have to worry about leaving it in my jeans pocket and washing it!). If the sleep info isn’t of interest to you and you want just a really good pedometer then you could get the zip.

I needed something to help keep me motivated and interested, and so far this has! I mainly use the website, as I just find it easier than using an app, and log my food on there as well as see how I’m doing during the day for walking/stairs. The sleep function has been pretty interesting too, and this will give me some info I can pass on to my doc. If you get a One, and forget to tell it your going to sleep/getting up (by pressing the button) then you can adjust it manually when you log in to look at your stats which I like.

I just returned mine last night. Wasn’t tracking half the time..

At first I thought my husband was being hard on his fitbit zip. We replaced it three times. Then, I had my fit bit flex replaced twice in one year. I believe the company knows that their product is not designed to last. I just purchased the Fit Bit Charge HR at Best Buy. After purchasing an extended service plan, my total was $180. After applying $150 in Best Buy gift cards I redeemed from MyCokeRewards, I paid $30. I love the extra feature of having caller ID on it. It is perfect for shopping. I can screen my calls and only pick up on the important ones. This is a very important feature for me because I left my phone in a store once. Some people are not always nice with turing in things. I ended up paying $742 out of pocket for a new phone.

  18. Megan Michele

I LOVE MY FITBIT CHARGE! I just purchased one last week at Target. Maybe i should return it and re-buy with the coupon.

    • Meghann

You should be able to take your receipt in along with the cartwheel offer and get a price adjustment? I would try that! 🙂

      • megan

Okay i will try that thank you.

  19. Kristin

Collin- You rock! I have a Fitbit Flex and have been wanting to upgrade. I’ve been watching the prices on the Charge daily. I just went to Target & bought the burgundy with the Cartwheel deal PLUS the 5% off with my Target card! Thanks SO much for posting this.

  20. Sarah
