Target: 70%-90% Off Valentine’s Day Clearance
Target shoppers! Hip2Save readers, Heather and Sarah, emailed today to let me know that their select Target locations are now offering up to 90% off Valentine’s Day clearance! NOTE, I just went to check this out at my local Target here in Boise, Idaho and my location is still at 50% off for Valentine’s Day food items and 70% off for everything else. SO do keep this in mind before heading out. I am guessing most locations will go 90% off tomorrow, so I may have to hit up Target again! 🙂

I got a TON of stuff and spent about $62 (w/o tax) and saved a whopping $446! I’ve never done so well on clearance finds. Went my Target again today but everything was still 70%, food and non food valentine items. Did pick up some goldfish vanilla cupcake bags and strawberry cupcake popcorn. I also picked up the sweet/salty popcorn combo with the popcorn bowl. There was still alot of the Sophia playdoh, sippy cups, stuffed animals, and Frozen puzzles. Hoping it will go to 90% tomorrow. 🙂

I just went to brick, nj thinking it would have been 90 and it was still 70. Food was 70 as well. There was quite a bit of candy left and kids valentines but that was pretty much it.
Tara we go to the same target. I was at Toms River on Monday and they still had a lot of stuff.
I wish I could go to TR tomorrow but I don’t think I can make it down there. I went to Ocean Monday and got a few things but they didn’t have much left.
I have a small Target and was all ready picked over the weekend before… I went on the 13th and 14th and candy already gone..

Same here, its just 70% off and theres not much left. Just a few vday cards and sweet tarts. This is a chula vista Ca location. Its usually like this after holidays, ya gotta be real quick over here to get some good deals!

Still 50/70 for me in Utah but the One Spot was 70% off most everything (not just Vday clearance) even though the signs said 50% off.
Does anyone know if the dollar spot ever goes to 90%? Or is 70% the lowest it goes? TIA
The dollar spot goes to 70% then they salvage the items that weren’t sold.
Mine is at 70 but if i remember it will not go to 90 but most of the small things were originally not $1 spot items just regular valentines in the valentines section at least at my store so they could go to 90. One store in my area kept them all in the valentine area the others separated the smaller stuff.
I checked out the v-day stuff at my target this past Tuesday night. It was only 50% off and there wasn’t much of anything even there. So disappointing.
cartwheel worked for the Just One You Valentines baby clearance the other day. Got an extra 25% off some baby hair clips and onesies.

I found TMNT mini plastic pails in the dollar spot for $.30 a piece and a stuffed Olaf in the valentines clearance for $2.xx! My son will be so excited!
April- where in Utah? I went to target in AF yesterday and everything was still 50% off.
Riverdale. I was thinking it just went to 70% today because the 50% signs were still up.
My store did not had much left but i was looking for the sophia play doh and i looked in the regular toy section and found it there, also napkins for .30 and valentine’s cards for .90 this year i did not had to buy any because i had some from clarence deals last year and now i am s st for next yr.
I have 16 Targets within a 20 mile radius and only a select few, maybe 5, are at 90% off right now. So it definitely varies depending on where the store is located.

I live in northern virginia and have about that many as well but the vast majority would be inconvenient to get to on any given day due to traffic.
Ok, so I would never be home, I would wear a red shirt and become a Target- aholic!!!! I thought it couldn’t get any worse than now and I only have 4 within 25 miles. WOW. Check book would def be empty lol that’s great.
I live in the Bay Area in California. Most of them would be more like an hour drive with traffic depending on when you went and also would cost $5-6 for a bridge toll. I go to 3 on a regular basis. I visited my home town after christmas where there is only 1 target and it was horrible lol! I’ve gotten so spoiled here.

Don’t forget to check unmarked valentine’s themed items. I found men’s valentine’s boxers in the regular apparel section. They were not marked as clearance, but rang up at $.49 each. And the 25% off men’s apparel cartwheel worked on them.

At the one I went to today everything was 70 except the candy which was still 50, well according to the sign anyway. For that reason I didn’t buy any so I guess their loss if they didn’t change the sign. After paying millions of dollars in a lawsuit for not changing their signs, I would hope they’d be better about it but then again wouldn’t doubt if they haven’t changed a bit
Wouldn’t that be your loss if it was 90% but you didn’t scan anything and just went by the sign?
It will sell eventually so they are not really losing anything if you don’t buy it.
The prices go down automatically for holiday clearance so it’s always best to scan.
Same thing at my store with the sign, but as a hipster I have learned to scan so I did and was 90%

I went to my Target yesterday and they didn’t have to much left but I did score a 3 piece 12 muffin pan set for $5.99 reg $19.99 I wish they would have had 2 so I could of had a 24 muffin pan.
Just M&ms were left but rang up at $.90, and I had lots of $1 off 2 q’s…so I’m good on M&ms for quite a while! at $.40 a bag I couldn’t resist! They’re kinda similar to Easter colors, right!?!?
In Wheaton, IL everything us still marked at 70/70 the best thing is when I called they told me it was 70/50 but I proceeded to tell the lady I was just in there yesterday and everything was 70/70 and she told me I was wrong so I thought I would just go check anyways and sit enough everything is ringing up at 90/70. Have to love ignorant employees!

Great deals found today! A decorative pillow for $1.49 – marked down from $14.99. V day kitchen towels for 0.49 marked down from $4.99 and a silicone heart shaped cookie mold for 0.99 marked down from $9.99!
I got a great deal on 32 oz Suave lotions, normally $4.99 they were on clearance for $2.48! They were in the One Spot section where they have the double package items, plus, I think Target is running a gift card special on Suave products, buy 3 and get a $5 gift card. So it’s basically buy one get two free! I didn’t know about the gift card until it rang up. It was like “surprise….cha ching!” 🙂 very cool!
I also found this Olay Total Effects anti-aging body lotion on clearance for $4.26′ it rang up as $3.04 plus I had a $1.25 Olay body lotion coupon so I paid just $1.79!
Don’t forget the men’s cartwheel for clothes. I found some of the heart boxers and with the cartwheel they were .36!
