I have been having a hard time getting Savingstar to accept the bar code on some Glad trash bags that I bought. Specifically the 60 count tall kitchen bags and 36 count extra strong black bags. Anyone from Savingstar around to help? I emailed on Monday and have yet to hear anything back.
I also had a hard time scanning the UPC code, I turned the camera or box around and it scanned fine
No, it scans but says not valid with promo.
I had to scan my glad trash bags a few times before it accepted the barcode.
That worked! I kept trying, it took 5-6 tries for each one, but finally said it was valid. Thanks! 🙂
Has anyone else had difficulty finding the Friday free item? I cannot seem to locate it in New York?
My son is having a hard time getting saving star to process Little Debbie snack cakes. As did I. But finally, they processed my .55.
The scan states the product qualifies, and let’s him proceed to upload the receipt. He has taken a picture of the Green check mark that shows its a qualifying product. He has contacted saving star with this info.
He keeps getting an email stating the product doesn’t qualify.
JOSH FROM SAVING STAR – WHERE ARE YOU?
Hi Laura, Receipts can take a few days for us to credit. If there was a green check mark, he should get credit when we review the receipt. If he received an email saying it did not qualify, my guess is that the receipt was not rejected for buying an incorrect product. Usually, receipts are rejected if the picture of the receipt did not show the entire receipt from top to bottom (you can take multiple pictures if necessary) or if it was not legible for some reason. If he already contacted our customer service, we’ll definitely help him out. Currently due to high volume we are processing emails from March 5 and will respond in the order it was received. Thanks, Josh
I’ve also had a hard time with saving star lately. I’ve emailed them and have yet to receive a response. It’s been a week and haven’t heard anything. It’s very frustrating!!
Still waiting for reply here on only get it .75 for my York Peppermint Pattie last week instead of a $1.
Do you pay $1 or .75?
I paid 1.00 for first one, .25 for second one.
Hi Janet and Tarri, I’m sorry for the delay. Due to high email volume, we are currently replying to emails within about 10 days. Please know that we will help you out as our customer service team processes your ticket. Thanks, Josh
Thanks Josh for responding.
I have had very good luck with Savingstar. I have had a couple issues in the padt and they responded and solved the problem very quickly.
I ran into a very long receipts with only two purchases, including the freebie. I submitted receipts using high quality scanner, and had to submit two images. Got rejected by saving star saying that information is incomplete. Do they only look at the second image? I looked at the images over and over again, and the information is complete!
Hi vc, I’m sorry to hear the offer was not credited. Without knowing what your receipt looks like, I’m not sure what the issue was. (The most common reasons for a receipt to be rejected are if the entire receipt from top to bottom was not captured – you can submit multiple pictures as you mentioned – or if the all the UPCs were not submitted). Please click the Contact Us link at the bottom of our website and our customer service team can help you out. Thanks, Josh
