Shrink Rewards App: Cash Back for Grocery Purchases (Coffee, Frozen Kid’s Meals & More)
Save at the grocery store with the Shrink Rewards IOS and Android App! This free app pays you cash back when you purchase select items at the grocery store AND rewards you for buying them again or getting your friends to buy those products. If you buy these items multiple times, you can unlock loyalty rewards like additional cash back or freebies! Here are some examples of current offers…
* Marley Coffee – $2.50 Rebate for RealCup & $1.50 Rebate for any bag up to $4 total in savings. And with Shrink’s loyalty program, you can earn an additional $2 rebate for every purchase of 2 bags.
* GoodBelly – $1 Rebate. And with Shrink’s loyalty program, you can earn an additional $1 rebate for every purchase of 2 packs.
* Kidfresh – $1 Rebate. And with Shrink’s loyalty program, you can earn an additional $1 rebate for every purchase of 4 boxes.
Here’s how Shrink works:
* If you have an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and/or an Android Device, head over here and download the FREE Shrink App. After sign up, tap on Shrink Exclusive and enter the promo code HIP2SAVE (this referral code will give you 1,000 points equal to $1 cash back!)
* During the registration process, be sure to let Shrink know if you have certain food preferences, allergies, how large your family is etc. so they can cater offers just for you!
* Browse through Shrink’s offers and click the Add button to claim the offers you like before they’re gone (I spotted cash back offers for Marley Coffee, Kidfresh, GoodBelly and more!)
* Unlock brands to get access to exclusive rewards.
* After you have purchased the item(s), just snap a picture of your receipt
* If you make repeat purchases or complete actions such as inviting friends or posting on Facebook, you’ll earn points and unlock special rewards from each brand
* Once you have reached a total of $20 cash back, you can redeem your cash back via Paypal

Hi Colin, Just wanted to know if you are using this service.
I use savings star, snap, ibota and checkout 51. I have tried fast cash back and others that say they will pay you on paypal and have had very poor luck, every time I could cash out there was a problem with their service connecting with paypal. I contacted paypal and was told that I had to deal with the provider, I tried several times and finally in disgust canceled my memberships with these organizations, lost quite a bit of money and time. I am pretty shy of any of these services now, So I thought if you were having good luck I may try this one. Thanks.
Haven’t used Shrink. However, another app Shopmium is very easy to use, no cash out minimums and goes direct into PP, only option. Never had an issue.
My referral code YKHHUKWM gets you a free Lindt chocolate bar.
I’ve been using Shrink for several months now and I cashed out twice without any issues. (The money accrues pretty fast especially if you get freebies, which are pretty much 100% rebates)
I haven’t had any problems with Ibotta or Checkout 51. Savings Star has been a problem and Snap has such a high cash out amount, $20, and so few items that I actually use or can find that I may never be able to cash out.
Love Shrink! Here’s my referral code if anyone wants to use it 🙂
JUSPOM
I would really appreciate it if someone would use my referral link! My code is GEPTEA.
There’s also a Marley coffee deal on Ibotta — I doubled up last night for a total $4 rebate!!
There’s actually a total of 12 rebate apps. I use all 12 to stretch my dollar til it screams.
Which 12 do you use? I’m always looking for new rebate apps.
Ibotta, BerryCart, Shrink, Jingit, CartSmart, Find & Save, Checkout 51, SavingStar, Shopmium, MobiSave, Snap, TopCashBack (the app has an in store section)
This sounds good but I literally cannot keep up with all these apps lol.
I am I the only one who dislikes this app? I always get points… Neve cash. What am I missing?
You actually get cash – And points are great if you buy something over and over again. I buy at least 3-4 kidfresh every week for my daughter, and can save quite a bit using Shrink.
You can convert the points in each brand’s rewards for cash or freebies. Looks like all brands run their own loyalty programs, meaning different rewards for different brands. Please use my code: LXLLNT. 🙂
I agree I usually just get points too. Once you get enough points you can convert them to cash but it’s seemed to take a while to accrue enough.
OHZXYM
Please Please 🙂
I took a look at this app a while ago. It just annoyed me. More silly points programs. Yuck.
gtkrxb. if you would like to join through me would appreciate it a lot.
Another grocery app is Cart Smart
Does anyone have a strategy for all of these apps as far as when to collect your money? I have money accumulated in Ibotta and Checkout 51 where I could receive a payout. What is your opinion on cashing out when you reach the minimum and starting over vs. letting it accumulate for a long time? These are the two apps I use most often. I only submit a receipt on Snap if I happened to buy the item. Their offers disappear so quickly that I am afraid I will never reach the minimum. I’ve literally seen an offer available, bought the item, drive home and it’s all gone already. I haven’t tried Saving Star yet. Any positive or negative comments on saving star and how it works?
SavingStar is the best! You don’t have to do a thing after you’ve loaded the offers, unless you buy from stores without a loyalty card. I bought .49 Lucky Charms and Chex a couple weeks ago, forgetting about the SS rebates, which ultimately made them penny moneymakers. Plus, they have a freebie item every weekend and a healthy rebate on produce each week.
For the most part, that has been why I have not used it. I don’t have a grocery store that offers a loyalty card tied to saving star. I’ve noticed they have a freebie every week which has peaked my interest in it. I just don’t understand fully how it works without a loyalty card. Is it similar to checkout51 and ibotta where you snap your receipt and accumulate $$?
Erin, you can use receipts for SavingStar at Target, WM, Dollar General & more (there is a whole list of non-loyalty card stores listed in the app) It works like Ibotta in that you scan the bar code(s) and upload a pic of the receipt. I think it’s $5 min to cash out, which you can send to Paypal, your Bank Account, Upromise or donate to the American Forests.
AFA cashing out, that is ultimately up to you. I do a cash out every May & Nov, so I have additional funds for vacation & Christmas. last year we didn’t take a big family vacation, so I just waited until Nov to cash out. Whatever i didn’t use towards gifts, went into the savings acct for this years vacation. Sometimes when Ibotta offers a Whole Foods or Target GC, depending on how much I have saved, I’ll request a $10 or $25 GC b/c most of the time I’ll roll it towards more offers!
I agree about Snap offers going fast. It happened to me last wk. I bought Pizza, by time I got to my car to snap the receipt, it was sold out. But a few days later, the offer popped back up, but I couldn’t use the receipt b/c it was past the 2 days. So annoying!!!
You can try submitting the receipt even if it’s past the 2 days; I’ve had them honor it for me before past that as long as the deal was still available.
I cant load any of these apps. Says my phone is not compatible. My phone is brand new? Whats up with that?
Are you using Windows phone?
No, its android. The google play store says the appa arent compatiplble. Just wondered if anyobe else had a problem?
I’m android. What apps and what phone model ?
My old phone didn’t have “auto focus” for the camera. Once I switched to an auto focus capable phone, I was able to load many of the apps.
Have enjoyed this app so far–would love if anyone signs up under my link!
KIZWBV
Thanks in advance!!
I’ve been using this app since last time it was posted on Hip2Save.
Cashed out twice with no problem. Shrink is different from other coupon apps in that you can continue to save once you find a brand you like. I especially love GoodBelly.
Thanks Colin! I used your code 🙂
