I bought the Clarisonic Mia 1 a couple of months ago for $99 without the extra brush head. I love it! You can use any non-abrasive cleanser with it, so no need to continue to purchase theirs. Wish this deal had been available in January! 🙂

I have really bad skin (rosacea/perioral dermatitis)….does anyone with either of those skin issues use this? I’ve always wanted one but I’m worried my search for a miracle will lead to a disaster!

I’m very sensitive and have a different Clarisonic – and no issues. But I would recommend the delicate and/luxe brushes heads they are softer and gentler. The sensitive brush is more ‘normal’ as it comes standard with most models.

Note Mia 1 comes with one speed only which can be too much for some and there is no timer on it. Clarisonic website has a comparison chart.

Also just glide the tool over the skin without pressure and use only 1x day and do not use everyday or the skin will freak out.

If you don’t mind me asking, which Clarisonic do you have?

        • shopper

I have the Plus since it can also be used on the body, unlike the other ones.

Gina I too have Rosacea and unfortunately Clarisonic exacerbated my Rosacea and made it worse…had to give it away…

      • Gina

Were you using the delicate brush head or the sensitive one? I took a gamble and bought the Mia and got the delicate brush head.

@gina I have seborrheic eczema & I use a Clarisonic with a soft brush & I am very gentle around the problem areas. It has helped exfoliate the dry skin and improved my skin so much! Also, for what it’s worth, my mother suffers from very severe Rosacea…She only uses Estée Lauder’s cleansers and moisturizers. They’re the only thing that has helped and now she’s able to use less of her expensive medication! She does not use a Clarisonic 🙂

Thanks! I’ll have to look into those products.

Gina you have try pijama paste from farmhousefreshgoods.com it’s the best and i have heard it perfect for rosacea it comes in a little glass jar and if you go to the product there is a video about it I am addicted to this products .

    • Gina

Thanks, Fiore! Also for everyone else…my discover card had an offer for $20 statement credit with $100 ULTA.com purchase. I ended up purchasing the mia along with the delicate brush (thanks to the advice of others) to bring my total over 100. Hopefully that will help someone else!

I received my order today but there was no free cleanser or brush included. 🙁

  9. Marie

I received my order today but there was no free cleanser or brush included. What a scam!!!

  10. Marie

I called the company and they offered me a $15 gift card for the 2 free missing items. Can you believe it? They said the items were out of stock, but I just added them to my cart. They total $55, not $15. They said they won’t honor their offer at all and they don’t have to! I’m so glad I took screen shots of my transaction. I plan to send to them to the Better Business Bureau in my state. Talk about false advertising. Why on earth would a company do this? Why not just cancel the order if it;s out of stock? What a total scam. I’m on my way to return this. I will buy it elsewhere and I won’t do business with Ulta ever again.
