Has anyone else had long delays in receiving their cash back? I normally have it post in 2 days and it’s over a week. I know it can take up to 22 days, but I didn’t know if anyone else was noticing a delay as well. Thanks

I’ve never had an issues with saving star. I love these Friday freebies.

Hi Chris, What store did you recently shop? Thanks, Josh

I should have also said that Superstar Customer Service Rep Josh is awesome too! 😃

Hi Chris, It does sound like something is wrong if you have either not received credit or received a message saying we could not process your receipt. Please click the Contact Us link on the bottom left of our website so our customer service team can take a look at your account to help you out. Thanks, Josh

Thanks Josh I will send them a message

    • Brooke

Hi, Chris. It seems to depend on where I buy the item at. Sometimes it’s a couple days and sometimes it’s a week or more. They’re very helpful if you email them.

    • Angela

Sometimes it does take a while. Their customer service is really good though.

      • Steph

I always go back and check my acct. after I have submitted a receipt. It will say pending or what ever status it is at. At least that way I know my receipt wasn’t denied.

    • Janet

A few wks ago I made some purchases and I received a msg that my receipt was submitted and should be processed within a few days but it turns out my receipt was never received and had to resubmit again. It is taking them a lot longer to process receipts though.

      • savingstar

Hi Janet, I’m sorry to hear you experienced a delay. A few weeks ago we had a system error that delayed the processing of receipts, but in general all receipts should now be processed within 1-5 days, and most stores within 1-2 days. Thanks, Josh

I usually shop at CVS or another store that has my card linked. Seems to be a much faster & easier process.
This week, CVS has these for buy one get the second for .25

Recently I’ve had issues with”blurry” receipt. I sent a request to try to resolve this and no response yet: /

    • savingstar

Hi Yolanda, I’m sorry for the wait. We do reply to all emails in the order they are received and are currently replying to emails from last Sunday. Depending on when you wrote in to us, you will either get a reply this week or next. Thanks for your patience, Josh

    • Steph

I always check when I scan my receipt to see the color and quality so I can try to adjust it on my scanner. I have had rejected receipts for this very reason.

  6. Amy

I have to say. I haven’t been doing Freebie Friday as much since they stopped automatically giving the discount when you shopped at Kroger. Any idea why that is, Josh? Will they be bringing this back?? I really miss it!

    • savingstar

Hi Amy, We’d love it if Kroger would allow SavingStar users to link deals to their Kroger cards again. Unfortunately, it’s out of our hands since this was a Kroger decision, but we’re hoping they change their mind.

    • Steph

Since October, Kroger loyalty card is no longer part of the program. You have to submit your receipt online if you don’t use your phone. It was posted at the top of the Savingstar page back when it happened. I believe it is still there.

  7. Jennifer B

A yummy one this week! 😀

  8. JA

Great, I will snag one at Walgreens when I pick up my free 8×10!

  9. Elaine

How can I upload a receipt from CVS? I didn’t sign up for a card until today when I purchased the Reese’s.

    • savingstar

Hi Elaine, If you registered your card in your account today and used your card at checkout, your savings will automatically post within 11 days. Thanks, Josh

They are really particular. Last week I bought the Cadbury egg and they rejected the receipt. Then the submit time frame was expired.

    Hi.
Please accept a little constructive criticism from a customer who uses 5 cash back websites
There is no way to verify your receipt before you submit
Please pass this along to your support and development team
It’s terrible you get the can’t receipt message a few days later but this could have been avoided to begin with. Also there should be a resubmit option without having to wait 5 days from a customer service rep in India
    C’mmn on
    help us out here !!!
