How do u use the points? Is it automatic? Anyone redeemed some?
It worked very easily for me. When you check out, if you have points they will show up in a small gray box on the card swiper window. Just click if you wish to use them.
Just be sure to have the associate scan your Plenti card.
Not automatic. If you have points available to use, they will pop up on your screen after your items are rung up and before you pay. You can then choose to use them or not. You also can input how many points you wish to redeem. Pretty simple and I don’t believe it required any input from cashier.
Can you use an odd amount of points such as 199 for $1.99 off or does it have to be in whole dollars?
You can use any amount of points and can use points even on tax. You can pay an entire order with points and pay no cash.
You can use any amt of points, BUT the catch is your subtotal has to be $2 before tax. Like if you buy 1 candy for $.99, Plenti points won’t be available to use.
I don’t know why so many people are unhappy with rite aid new program. I find it better because the point or ups don’t expire. But you can roll then the same and it shows on your receipt like at Walgreens. I love it!

Have you had problems getting your Plenti card to merge with your Rite Aid Wellness card? I have. My card AND telephone number read as “invalid”. This began just after a Rite Aid representative begrudgingly gave me my earned February Fabulous reward.
I have been in contact with Rite Aid for OVER 2 MONTHS. I have been on live chat, telephone, e-mail, and even had telephone conversations with the Vice President of Marketing, trying to resolve this, but I still cannot shop at Rite Aid because my card does not work.
I am being cheated of my discounts and shorted from the ability to reach Gold status this year. Why doesn’t someone just erase all my info and start from scratch with my info and manually put in my Gold status and my points. Mostly I am angry because I am forced to beg for what I have earned as a loyal Rite Aid customer. NO LONGER will I tell others how great Rite Aid is for shopping– how would I know? I can not shop there anymore!
I doubt it’s because you coupon. As a cashier I can tell you we were not given a lot of info on the program. One issue I have run into was a lady that had 4 “cards” under one #. None of them had a name attached so I had to guess which one to use and we are unable to pull up any wellness account info in store for privacy reasons. I picked the 1st acct and merged her plentils card. Well I guessed wrong according to her since her receipt showed she only had about 100 points. We went back to try to fix it and each time it said she already had an account and wouldn’t let us. Please be patient with your cashiers we are learning as well.
I doubt they are going to let her change it. I’m not positive, but I don’t think customers are allowed to have multiple cards.
Several people have reported that when they scan their Plenti card it works fine, but when they try to use their phone number it reports that they have four cards and no one knows which one to choose. And I know for a fact that one of these people has never had more than one card. And it always reports as 4 cards, so it must be a glitch in the system they haven’t figured out.
yeah, sounds like good info from the RA Cashier—if your profile still shows on the Rite Aid webpage, I’d go in and make sure all info was correct, then take your physical blue card into store and simply get another Plenti card because is sounds like the Wellness info pulled does not match the Plenti info pulled and that could be why the rep was hesitant to give you the Feb Fab reward, things were switched up and didn’t match for them——–I had updated my info maybe 6mths ago, when I used my phone number to checkout (I never do I always have my card, but I had just updated my phone number online) well someone else’s ending card number showed up! So I had to un-update my phone number so to say because a previous owner of the phone number had not updated their phone number and was still using what was now my phone number)–I’d just take my blue card and try for another Plenti card, see what the register prompts—oh, before getting your new plenti card, try to say buy a candy bar and type in your phone number and see if the little ticket of info they can printout before paying, if it shows the matching card to the physical blue card that you have—-just seems like the phone reps are not so good with trial and error and doublechecking info to find the correct acct—plus it’s probably harder to check things without a person being right there with card etc—I’ve had them check before to see how many accts showed under my phone number, then we were able to set my acct to a good phone number that didn’t overlap with anyone else’s
Thanks for the matchups, Colin. I am just so disappointed now with Rite Aid & the Plenti points. Not worth my time or effort. The sales now are just so lame as compared to what they used to be.
I think all stores go through lulls. RA hadn’t appealed to me in years. I got back into them last summer, and barely made gold (thanks to triple points they offered in Sept). The deals look the same to me, instead up UPs, you get points. CVS isn’t exciting as it used to be. I am burning the last of my bucks tomorrow on the Cash Card deal and some misc items. I’ll get a $5 beauty buck, but I won’t be strapped with trying to roll $30+ in ECBs. I like that the Plenti rewards don’t exp for 2 yrs. After the 1st wk of some awesome deals, I’m glad I didn’t have to burn $20 in points! I just think the summer months tend to be dull across the board.

I had a smooth transition for the most part, thank God, lol, –I had banked like 4,000+pts last year on one card. My card did arrive in the mail days after receiving one in store—took awhile to get a decision on whether to keep the card from the store or switch to the mailed card–they say I can share the mailed card with a friend or family member, it’s a blank card.
Then my activated household offers (like savingstar offers) seemed to disappear from the plenti website, but I found that they were hidden at the top right in that gift tag looking graphic with a checkmark on it.
Plus I snagged a few great point bankers like the Tinactin and Conair. And I opted out of all that info sharing on the Plenti website. So I’ve been able to remove those negatives pieces of the program. Takes me a few seconds to convert the points and I find that most specials are the same as they offered before.
I think a lot of us simply didn’t like the month of no specials and without detailed info of the new program or if the company was selling. It’s easier to control my points though on the receipts and at checkout.
I don’t know if it was a glitch or not, but when I used some points to pay last week it covered tax too!!

Just a FYI the 3/1 Mitchum don’t work on the one you have listed. It excludes gel as well. It’s specifically for clinical.
