Thank you! Just got one for Christmas!

It’s 94 dollars in Anazon. Guess I missed it!

Was Planning to buy for my daughters 3 birthday..but Reviews show it’s slow .. So I m passing it on…
So not worth it. An iPad will last so much longer and there are tons of free developmentally appropriate apps to grow with your child.
That’s not really a fair comparison. This Leappad is $65. An ipad is waaaaaay more than that.
My son has had a LeapPad 2 since he was 3 and it’s still his favorite toy at 5 1/2 and he has learned so much from it! It’s sturdy and has been dropped numerous times without a scratch. I highly recommend it to all of my mom friends!
What’s also nice is that the games grow with your child and tailor themselves to your child’s age and skill level. I also love the fact that they can only play what I put on it.
You can find $5 games at Five Below and the $20 app gift cards often go on sale for $15 on Amazon.
Love all of our leapfrog products. My son has leappad 2 and loves it I was debating an upgrade.
Hi,
Quick question Hip@Save mommies: What age is appropriate for the Leap Frog tablets? my son will be a year on the 16th but he LOVES my ipad and phone. He has gotten pretty good very quickly at figuring out how to manipulate the screen with his fingers. I don’t want to start him off too early with those types of gadgets but I do want to keep his love of technology, new things, and learning engaged. Currently the time he plays with my ipad/phone is very limited. I’m wondering if I should jump on this deal now or wait a little longer until he’s a bit older. Thanks!
I would say it’s still a little advanced for his age. The games and apps for leap pad are great but aren’t quite as intuitive as some of the iPad apps. My son got one for Christmas when he was 2 1/2 and it took him longer to catch on to some things than with my phone. Also, exposure to technology isn’t recommended much (if at all) until age 2 or 3, so it might not be the best idea for that age.
At Staples, the LeapFrog LeapPad games are on clearance. I was able to pick up the My Little Pony (math) game for only $10 (retail: $24.99)!
Happen to stop in at my target and they had a bunch on the shelf for 64.98. I picked one up for my little one.
I’m thinking of ordering this for my son. He will be 3 on Christmas Day. I know there are a lot of these learning tablets for kids. Is this one of the better ones? Would it be appropriate for him at age 3?
