I received an offer in the mail for the some of the above “freebies.” I was going to order the car seat cover and went all the way to check out and then it said shipping was $14.99 so I closed the tab. Thirty minutes later I received a text from the company offering to reduce my shipping to $11.99. I still didn’t order it because for some strange reason I REALLY thought it would be free.

    • Yoli

Same happened to me. I still have the txt and will be ordering because it’s still pretty cheap for $11.99.

    • Kassie

I was really freaked out when they texted me. I didn’t finish the registration and closed the tab yet they still got me phone number? That is not okay.

Our Target FINALLY had the gift in stock. I tried for months while pregnant but they were always out. Now I have a one month old 🙂 Fun gift!

    • laura

How did you manage to get it once he was born? I didn’t get one when I signed up bc they were out too.

  3. Susie

My son and I love so many of their products and would really appreciate it if you use my link…https://www.honest.com/refer_to/488539. You can also just sign up now and if you’re not in a rush, wait for a 30, 40 or 50% off bundle coupons that they send out every once in a while. That’s what I did for my initial purchase and bought three bundles to save even more!

  4. Dee

I have used Honest Company for years and love all their products. I have a 40% off code for the first bundle purchase. I would appreciate if you use my link to sign up https://www.honest.com/refer_to/210473
Here is a One Time use code for 40% off first bundle. Please comment when used so others don’t have to waste time trying.

What are people’s experience with these breast pads?

    • Suzyq

I haven’t personally used this brand but I very much dislike cloth nursing pads. They absorb the milk but they don’t pull the moisture off of you so they just sit there damp on you. Kinda defeats the purpose. I’d much rather use disposable ones, Johnson and Johnson actually are my favorite

      • Jen

        thanks!

      • Kit

For disposables, I liked Chicco bc it fit me the best. I felt Lansinoh was XL in size, and Advent was similar. Try a few differ brands before you purchase a large box.

        • jen

Thanks, Kit! I appreciate the advice

        • Ashley

Lansinoh is by far my favorite. They have sticky stuff to hold them in place, they don’t leak and I throw them out when they’re done. I buy them in bulk at Amazon or Walmart.com to save some money.

    • Kit

These pads will save you $ & are usable. They arent discreet at all, material is similar to a rough linen napkin & does not get softer after repeated washes, after wash/dry they crumple up badly & must lay flat to dry, they’ve also got little fuzz balls on the fabric now(cheap?), the black ones i ordered the color has faded and lastly do not use with cracked nips(even with ointment) these pads will stick like a bandaid(ouch!!!). Personally I would not purchase again, I paid a little more & love my Bamboobies pads;-) buy during sales on holidays.

      • Jen

Thanks, I’ll look into those 🙂

    • Shondorp

Just my two cents- I have 12 pairs of these breast pads and LOVE THEM!! Swear by them! My fave by far! Have used one other reusable pads and two different disposable kinds.

Re: the second offer (Gerber pack coupon)—–many hospitals no longer participate in these sort to giveaways, as they are “Baby Friendly,” a WHO designation for hospitals that meet certain standards for breastfeeding promotion/support.

    • Susan

The Gerber coupon mentions a link to see if your hospital is participating but when you follow the link it just takes you back to Gerber. I searched the site for a bit and finally gave up. :/

  7. Jasmine

So are they supposed to email you the free gift from target? I only recieved the 15% off in the mail should I call and ask?

    • Kit

If you sign up online you will receive email saying “pickup your free welcome kit (pictured in email!) at any Target Guest Services”. Just walk up to GS & let them know you signed up online for baby registry and it told you to pickup your free welcome gift, they will hand you the bag w/ goodies. I had printed out the email & brought it along w/ me incase I needed to show them, or the person working didn’t know.

    • Kit

The 15%Q and additional 15%Qs for friends/family will be mailed to your address when closer to your due date. You can use it for anything on your registry including food&drinks for baby shower, some (I read) even used it for gaming consoles for the dad-to-be….

      • cbeths

It needs to be things that are on your registry to get the 15% off. So, as long as you add everything to your registry before checkout – it should work.

    • Sandy

I signed up for the registry, you can use the email that says you have a registry but I have still to find one that has the gift and it has been months.

anyone has experience with the baby legging and such? why is the shipping so expensive? where is it coming from? I also got the text to reduce the shipping charge to $11.99. I notice this is the same company and the car seat canopy and the pillow.

    • Claudia

I first did the canopy and it was pretty good but I would still use blankets inside. I sold it after I was done for half of the shipping. They all cost the same shipping. I then tried the pillow thinking it will be like the boopy, major No no, that was some bad pillow but I used it and passed it on to my sister. Then I last tried the leggings and while they are cute, I think they are a bit tight. My son only used them a couple of times and since then they have been in the drawers. The good thing with it its once they are older it’s used as leg warmers instead of covering the whole baby leg. The material is good enough but shipping kills it. Hth

    • Rosemary

Yes, they are the same company, I believe. I bought the leggings from them once. The product was just OK and I didn’t feel it was worth it. It’s a fishy business anyway, free stuff offer with over-charged shipping, texting customers, etc. Not using them anymore.

  9. Sarah

Something to consider including in the baby “freebies” post in the future. Per the Affirdable Care Act, insurance companies are now required to cover the cost of breast pumps and lactation support services. Wahoo!
