Chocolate Cream Refrigerator Cake (Easy No-Bake Dessert)
If you’re looking for an easy no-bake dessert, try this refrigerator cake layered with chocolate graham crackers. The result is a beautiful, creamy and fancy-looking chocolate cake that tastes even better than it looks (this cake is very addictive – don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😉 )!
Heads Up: This recipe will need to be refrigerated overnight.

Delicious Chocolate Cream cake that is full of flavor! An easy recipe that will keep your guest happy! Recipe adapted from ClintonKelly.com
Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Graham Crackers
- 3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese or See Substitution Below
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 candy bars chopped or shaved for topping
- 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese Substitution: Cream together 6 oz. softened cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons sour cream, and 3 Tablespoons heavy cream.
Directions

If using Mascarpone cheese substitute, cream ingredients together with kitchen mixer and set aside in separate bowl.

Whip 3 cups of heavy cream for about 2 minutes until peaks form.

Add sugar, vanilla, and Mascarpone cheese/cheese substitute. Combine all ingredients.

In a casserole dish, place a layer of graham crackers on the bottom. You may need to break a few crackers to get an even layer.

Spread 1/3 of the cream mixture over first layer, and continue until you have three layers of crackers and cream mixture.

Chop or shave chocolate bars with a vegetable peeler over the top of dessert to garnish.

Cover and place in refrigerator overnight. Serves 8-12 depending on size of squares.
My husband makes something similar to this, but with Oreos instead of graham crackers. It’s delicious!

Jennifer, does your husband leave the Oreos whole or does he twist them apart?
We have done it both ways, but leaving them together is our favorite 🙂

This cake is amazing! I made it with the Mascarpone cheese and used a hershey bar and a heath bar. Honestly this is my new go to cake for pot lucks or anything where I need to bring a dessert! Thank you for such a wonderful recipe!
