I vouched to NEVER touch one of those again after my miserable years as a Big Boy waitress….but this would definitely be willingly used in my own home. 🙂 We love milk shakes!
I’ve never seen these before but now that I have I am absolutely certain my household cannot live without one!!
Tami, Hamilton Beach makes a much cheaper version that works really well. My mom had one when I was growing up and when I moved out and got my own apartment, I bought one. Then, my boyfriend’s mom knows how much I love milkshakes (but didn’t know I had a machine) and she bought me another one. So now, we have two of the cheaper hamilton beach ones. I think they’re $25 or $30.
Immersion blenders work great for milkshakes, too. I bought one for that reason, but I don’t think we actually used it for that. 😉

Regardless of whether I win, I just realized one of these would be so much better/stronger than the blenders I’ve been using for mixing together the meal replacement shakes I make my dad when he can’t eat (due to a terminal illness). Thanks!
Jenn, sorry to hear about your Dad’s diagnosis. When my grandfather was sick, home nursing told us to help him get calories, to buy him these drinks called resource breeze. They’re little juice boxes with a ton of calories to help him keep the weight on. They’re fairly expensive and we found the cheapest place was walgreens online. You buy them by the case and they don’t sell them in stores. You can order single ones from other places online to see if he likes the flavors. They’re fruity.

I’m having so much fun entering these! I think it’s kind of neat that the winners will all be announced at once. It’s less of a bummer than hearing four times a day that you are not a winner 😉 BTW.
