   I love my Lodge cookware! It is hands down the best. Took a little getting used to but now I use nothing but Lodge.

   I’ve never used a cast iron skillet before! I desperately need a new 10 inch skillet! I ordered this one. Can anyone give me any tips as a first timer? Thanks in advance! 😃

  Main thing is you do not clean it with soap but only hot water and after cleaning you have to rub it lightly with oil before you put it away.

  It turns the skillet into a non-stick one, without all the nasty chemicals that come with most non-stick skillets. Cast iron is much more versatile, as it can go in the oven and be used to bake fritatas and corn bread. Some of the iron also gets absorbed into the food and is good for your blood count! Plus, cast iron lasts forever if properly cared for.

   I make funnel cake in mine! Yum and crispy. Same recipe as any old funnel cake but it fries super fast.

   I have a cast iron frying pan, yep a Southern girl and that’s what we call them, handed down from my deceased Grandmother, through my deceased Mom and I wouldn’t cook with any other! I fry, broil, and bake in it! No soap and never ever dishwasher! Once seasoned just right will be your go to for everything!
