I think 3x is the max for mobile. I attempted a fourth & it didn’t work. The store was out of paper coupons.

I’m in SoCal, and got both gift cards ($5 from Aveeno & $5 from $5/15 coupon), but the price was $5.99 I/o $4.99.
I went in the store today & they dont have near as many things included as they did online i was disappointed

When you get your 5 dollar Target gift cards, can you use them with the items you purchased, or do you have to use them at a later date?
Not in same transaction you received GC. But, you can split your transaction and receive it in first transaction and then use it in next. HTH
when you get your $5 gc, you can use it on your next transaction. so do separate transactions for your other items to make your overall out of pocket less. giftcard earned during a transaction cannot be used in the same transaction it was earned

I had the most dissatisfying experience with target ever! I made the first purchase with bodywash and deodorant with the mobile coupon. My daughter (5years old) was going to help with the second transaction with purchase of kids mouthwash. She was so eager to give them the coupons and the in ad coupon to pay with her giftcard she got from the kids dentist office and the cashier denied it! Only one per guest! So, I calmly explained my daughter is doing it. And she told me straight up technically she not considered a guest!!!! I was so furious I demanded right away for the manager! And to my disappointment he said the same thing! So, I was wondering, why do we teach our kids the value of money in kindergarten already and have those machines where you insert a quarter to get gums or toys if that store refuses to accept a child as paying customer with a legal guardians consent? And I have more examples but it will take to long to list them. I don’t understand, the in ad coupon says one per guest and the mobile does not even have a limit! So why are they refusing it?

My store does that too they say it’s to lower the lines and blah blah 🙁 sorry u were turned away they say one transaction per person not sure why they turned away ur kid
Wow. That’s pretty sad. I’d complain on their fb page, giving the store location and the managers name (if you have it). I can’t believe they’d deny a sale to a 5 yr old!!!
Thanks everyone! I would completely understand if they would have denied me a second transaction! But I am furious and so disappointed that according to this store my daughter, a human being and capable of making a lot of her decisions on her own, is technically not considered a guest! SMH! I already contacted the headquarters and filed a complain about the cashier and the manager.
I would definitely complain on social media, too. Posting on Facebook is the only way I got them to address an issue recently. I attempted to chat and call customer service before that and they completely ignored me.
Thank you Collin, I just got 4 and added a tooth brush to get my total to $15. My Act Kids are priced at $3.47, so I added a Colgate oral-b $1.49 = $15.37, after coupons and GC paid $1.62 for all. So happy, my kids used this every night. 🙂

My target cashier tried telling me that my manufacturer coupons had to be scanned before the $5 gift card coupon. My total after my manufacturer coupons was $14.46 so I didn’t qualify for the gift card anymore. When I went to Cust. service the gal agreed with me and called her supervisor over to make it right. Surprise.. the supervisor was the same cashier I had! She told me that her store manager said they needed to scan manufacturer coupons before applying gift cards on a purchase threshold. I politely argued.. she ended up doing a post coupon and giving me $5 cash.. which I then asked for in the form of a gift card (I didn’t want the cash.. just want to roll my gift card). And I did re-read the coupon policy to verify which states the retail value of the items applies before manufacturer/target coupons in regards to threshold/category coupons. Just frustrating..
I still got the gift card even the cashier scan the MQ then the TQ, depend on the cashier, if she denied to scan the TQ, we have no choice, just politely tell the cashier ask the manager, sometime the cashier act like what she said is store policy, so just talk straight to the manager, if don’t work, then ok, politely leave everything back, because we been there to save money, if don’t work like what you want, smile and leave that store, don’t let the rude people ruin you mood 🙂
I couldn’t get the coupon printer to work, but my local Target has another promo on the Aveeno products: buy 3 get 1 free… so I was able to get 4 for the price of 3 + the 2 $5 gift cards and use the Cartwheel discount.
