how can we submit 2 rebate forms for one thermometer?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Combining the 2 rebates is actually advertised on the Exergen site at the link above. One rebate requires the receipt and the other requires the UPC code. Hope that helps!

      • Michelle

on the rebate form it says, one rebate per item….has anyone successfully done it?

      • Kim

How do you get the final price of 5.99?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you purchase this thermometer from Costco AND you are a Costco member, you will pay $25.99 – $20 total in rebates = $5.99. 😀

  2. chrissy

Highly recommend this thermometer. Even our dr uses it. Awesome baby shower gift.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Good to know! Thanks for the feedback! 😀

    • Jen

Agreed. My kids aren’t babies anymore, but I love having this thermometer. It cost much more than this when I got it at Costco.

  3. Kirthi

I have this and I love it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear that! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  4. Prani

We have this. I like it

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome 😉

  5. Vivian

We love this and use it all the time! Since the toddler started school and has a constant runny nose, we don’t even bother putting it away since its used so frequently.

  6. Freckle53

I’ve bought this therm. A couple of different times and can never figure out how to get a reliable temp. I know it has great reviews, but I think I’m just hopeless trying to use it. Great deal. Both times I paid $30+ for it.

  7. Val

We have this. I bought it when I was pregnant with my youngest, but everyone in the family uses it. We paid almost double for it.

    • Kirthi

      I paid 42$ for it

  8. Diana

We have this thermometer and love it. Use it on the whole family.

  9. Sarah

We have this thermometer. We love it. Very accurate and quick read. I paid $40 for it, so this is an awesome deal!

  10. Red Goldfish

Are you sure you can combine both rates for the same item, even though one is meant for the gifter and one for the giftee? I would love to purchase it for myself, but am afraid they won’t honor it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you can submit both rebates 🙂

I love this thermometer. I usually start the read in the middle of my daughter’s forehead and then drag it to the side. It was worked well so far, and she’s almost one. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great tip! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  12. Cindy

The way I see it, each rebate can be done on one item, but will they work going to the same person/address?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes 🙂

  13. Christie

Thank You Collin! I have wanted one of these. There are two SEPARATE rebates that can be used on the same item. Limit to use of 3 of each rebate per household. Great gift even if by some odd chance one of the rebates doesn’t work. The $18 price tag is still awesome! But there is No reason why it shouldn’t work. Thanks again!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome Christi!

  14. Vanessa

I bought this when pregnant and was able to use both rebate forms. I bought it from Babies R Us so it was more expensive but they did honor the $20 in rebates 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear that Vanessa! Thanks for the feedback! 😀

  15. Abby

Is it cheaper to get it at the store?

  16. Jeanna

Could you price match the Costco price at Target, if you are not a Costco member?

    • Kathryn

I did that this morning with Target.com and it worked!

      • Jennifer

How do you price match on Target.com? Did you have to call them?

      • Beth

Yes, I am also wondering how to price match on Target.com since I’m not a Costco member, but would love to have this thermometer.

    • Jean

I price matched at Target this morning as well! This is the best thermometer! We have one at home (8 years later it’s still going strong) and I give one for baby shower gifts all the time. My friends tell me this thermomemter and Boppy pillow are greatest baby shower gifts they’ve received from me :).

  17. Becky

We also have this thermometer and love it!! I have also given it as a baby shower gift several times!!

  18. Theresa

My pediatrician also uses this so I bought one and love it

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s great! So happy to hear that 😉

  19. Musk

    I hope the rebate works.

  20. Nivi

I have question where can I submit both rebtes. Little confused…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The address to send them to is listed on the bottom of each rebate form. Hope that helps!

  21. Barbara

I’m not sure the price in store, but it is $7 off through October 25th. Thank you – I’ve been wanting one of these!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW! 😉

  22. Kara

My 4 year old is not exactly patient with temperature taking. Does anyone use it on older kids, or adults?

    • tanya

You can use it on older people or kids, it gives you the results in few seconds. We bought 1 of those for $30 couple years ago and love it, and i have 2 little kids, very easy to use it on kids

    • Vivian

I’ve used it on myself lol

  23. Kathryn

The rebates say that a maximum of one rebate per item is allowed, so does that mean it is really only $15.99?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can use each rebate, once per item. Hope that helps!

  24. Div

Is it mail in rebate or submit online?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Mail in 🙂

  25. Kara

How do you send the “original” receipt for both separate rebates?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

One needs the receipt and one needs the original barcode. Hope that helps!

      • Melissa

Ok so I have 2 baby showers to attend and I would love to have one for myself, so If I purchase 3 seperatly I can get a max of 3 rebates back per thermo $10 ff and $10 mothers? Each forms says maximum rebate per person 3 and each is it’s own rebate I should be able to get 3 thermometers and get back $60 in rebates? I am I right?

        • Lauren

For the one rebate (mother’s), you have to send in the original barcode, so you’d have to cut that off of the container. Not sure about 3 rebates to the same address (I’m sure someone else will chime in on that), but I wouldn’t want to cut the UPC off of a container I was planning on giving for a gift. Maybe that wouldn’t bother you, but I at least wanted to mention it.

  26. Melissa

I guess I am just a little nervous because it says cannot be combined with any other offer. My budget is so tight and I would love to give a nice quality gift at the baby shower I just don’t have a lot of money to get jipped out of a rebate I hoped to get 🙂

  27. geena

I have to say that this thermometer is AMAZING! I never owned a really good one before my youngest child had a febrile seizure and ended up in an ambulance and ER at 18 months (seizure from high spiking temperature). After that horrid experience I went out and found the best thermometer I could find. Since the chances of having another seizure goes up 50% after the first one. This is the one we bought and have trusted since. Hes now 4 1/2 and had his second febrile seizure this year. It doesnt prevent these type of seizures but it sure does help when your childs temperature is all over the place to know where they are at. This is now the gift I give everyone who has a baby! I highly recommend!

  28. Lauren

Ordered one off amazon back in April… submitted two rebates in early July: one in husband’s name with original receipt and one in my name with upc and used our home address for both. Took awhile to receive the rebate… but they did both finally arrive at the end of September.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing 😉

  29. JCrafts

Wow Geena–timing of your child’s febrile seizures was at same ages for my daughter! Really scary, however I’m happy to report that we’ve never had another and she is now 12. I know how terrified we were going through all of that, so I hope this makes you feel a little better. I also believe that in our case, the seizures were brought on by dehydration even though the ER labeled them as febrile both times. We were very vigilant about keeping her hydrated during bouts with stomach bugs after that. So far as to give her a Tablespoon of liquid every 15 mins, etc. if she was refusing. Hope you read this … And I hope your experience is the same as ours, that you never have another!

  30. Lili

Great to know! I just purchased one from Costco this morning! Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

    • Abby

      How much at Costco ?

  31. Lauren

It’s out of stock at Costco.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer 🙁

      • Dolu

I see it back ordered till 22 oct ? So can I still get rebates ??

  32. ann

Great deal I this at jet.com if you bought the holy city voucher a while back….thermometer is $25.07 $10 in other stuff to get free shipping – $30 holy city voucher $10.50 you paid for voucher – $20 thermometer rebate = $4.50 MM

    • ann

      Jeez…gilt city not holy city…

  33. Angie22833

Are both rebates good if purchased at Costco?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes 🙂

  34. Motherof4

I ordered 3 from Amazon. I hope to get 3 $10 rebates for friends and family and 3 $10 rebates for Mothers. I really hope it will work out. I plan to give 2 away as shower gifts and keep one for our family to use. Do you think it will work out for me?

  35. Megan

For those that got them in store at Costco, was the in store price the same as online or was it cheaper? Debating taking the effort to drag my kids to Costco or not.

    • Abby

I just bought it instore for cheaper $22.69

      • Megan

        Thank you!

  36. Dolu

Bcos I see it back ordered ? So I still can do the rebate ?

  37. Terry

Does anyone know if the rebate amount will be net of the manufacture coupon ($7 for Costco)? I thought I checked because this happened to me last time. I submit rebate for Neosporin. The amount I received was less by $1 for the manufacture coupon

  38. Kim Selby

Has anyone got their rebate on these? I went to check the status of rebate that was listed on rebate form, and it says claim not found. I’ve called company twice and left message, during hours, and no one has returned my calls.

  39. anu

Hey Collin IS REBATE rebate still there? i bought it and try to print rebate and can’t find rebate from 🙁 .

  40. Tracy

The link is busted on this post. And I can’t seem to get into their website. Is anyone else having these problems?
