I purchased quite a few certificates last time and I’ve had a very poor experience. One of the places was very rude to me telling me not to buy anymore and that they won’t honor them. They told me the company never held up their end of the bargain. The other place huffed and puffed saying “the previous owner did this and sadly we have to honor it…” I tried to get my money back from the site and of course my complaint wouldn’t go through…

So sorry to hear that Kim 🙁

The reviews of that site are awful. I’m very leery to buy those gift certificates. If it sounds too good to be true….

I have never had a problem with any that I have bought. All the restaurants were very nice about me using them.

We’ve never had any problems either. I like to use these certificates to occasionally try out one of the more expensive restaurants that we ordinarily wouldn’t visit.

Their certificates often require an additional minimum purchase. So if you buy a $15 dollar certificate, the restaurants often require you to spend an additional 15 dollars. At that point, I’m like why did I even buy this certificate?

Thanks collin! I have always had good experiences with these. Even if you have to spend a certain amount to use them its still a great deal….especially if you have kids.

You’re welcome Meg! So happy to hear that! 🙂

I purchased 2 of these through a discount with my job. About a week later I get an email stating that the restaurant closed so I would be issued gift certificate credit that I could use toward another purchase. That’s been 2 years now and I have yet to use that credit I was issued as there are very few restaurants in my area on the site and none of them sound good to me. So basically money wasted. Also, they do require a minimum spend amount at the restaurant which definitely hits into the money saved part.

I don’t live in a big city so the options are almost never in my town only surrounding area so it can get hard to find some thing we’d eat and spend the requisite amount of money. The few times I’ve used one however I’ve had no problems. And while they say there are no expiration dates try and use your voucher shortly after purchase. I think of it more like a coupon or entertainment book thing.

      Thanks for your feedback! 😉

Love it! Purchased 6! What a great savings!

Even with the minimum purchase you are still saving like 45% and you can’t beat that! When you take it into consideration that the store I work at only offers me 15% off my purchases, and many don’t go over 30 or 40%. great deal. I bought 4 the maximum number offered! Thanks Collin and Team! We love you!
