which hand soap are you able to use the $1 on? It keeps saying I have 0 points to use on the order when i try it on the holiday hand soap from sears, and I was thinking that it was because it is considered a beauty item.
I figured it out! I was curious to see why it works for some and not for others and tried various different things like different pickup locations even from various zip codes I have family members. Then, I went ahead with checkout to see what would happen. Even though the cart initially said I had 0 points to use, when it got to the billing/payment page, there was the 1000 points with the button to apply. Very excited about this freebie. also purchased cd sleeves my child needs for school (priced at about $2).
I tried to use mine on hand soap and they wouldn’t allow it😕
I used mine on hangers that were $1.

What kind of auto products?
They have small engine fuel stabilizer for $1.49 and I’ve gotten a few cheap wheel and lug nut brushes for washing the cars. You could also check out washer fluid. If you grill they have some cheap grilling accessories like wood chips, tins and their tongs are $4ish. I do all my ordering online with store pickup.

As per the suggestions above, I just tried adding a set of hangers ($1.29) and a liquid hand soap ($1.11) for store pick-up, but the $1 is not being deducted. I did see the points on the Shop Your Way site though. Same thing with a few other surprise points I got lately. I make sure the items are not on Clearance but still can’t seem to use them.

The points have always worked on clearance for me, not sure why it says it’s excluded. Just the other night I was able to place an order for the kids hangers that are on sale for $1.79 using my surprise points.
Make sure to go to the last page of checkout – the cart does not always reflect what will actually work…

I had $5 show up yesterday in instant points for a $10+ purchase. I used it this morning along with the $10/$25 email coupon one from a post on Hip2save a couple days or so back.
I was able to get 5 room darkening curtain panels and a small fill in item to put me at just over $25. Around $143 (original reg price) worth of stuff in all. Ended up paying $10 and some change out of pocket.
Checked my account an hour later and see another instant points offer has popped up. It’s for $15 off $30+.
Not sure if I can use the $15 before it expires on 10/31. Maybe something good will pop up by then.
