I called today to inquire if my subscription could roll over to another magazine and the agent said people should start receiving a notice in the mail soon with an option to choose another magazine. There will be a special code with each choice and you will have to have to call with that code and your AllYou account number (above your name on the address panel) and you can begin receiving that magazine instead.

    • Dawn

I was told I would receive the same info by the end of December 2015, and its February, still nothing from the company

  2. Charma

Really! They told me that people were notified of their closing back in August. Told them this was news to me. We’ll see if they make good on this offer to their customers. Calling PCH today where I renewed this magazine until May 2017. Ready to take my money. Did enjoy the magazine.

    • MARYANN

Charma, don’t feel too, too bad – you’re not the only one that just renewed for another two (2) years. And neither did I get any notification about the ‘end’ of ALL YOU magazine. I just got an email saying that ‘they were going away’?? Going away to me means you’re taking a short hiatus, holiday but you’ll be back. I replied (just recently) to that email three (3) times, however, they haven’t responded. Hmmm.. .?? Just cleaning out some ‘dead’ items in my desk drawer today and came across a mailing offer to renew ALL YOU – now this seems really strange, as ALL YOU’s offer expired on 10/31/3015. Don’t you think they knew earlier that they were closing down shop – maybe because they wanted to suck us all dry for renewal money. Those ‘B’s” – they know they can just walk away! Well my bra is feeling better, cause I got this off my chest!!! And I have an extra box of tissue for you just in case you need it.

  3. Barbara

I got nothing…no email, no snail mail, and when I called the customer service line, the person who answered barely spoke English and could not answer the simple question of how I would get a refund. I don’t have my customer ID as I recycle magazines, but my thinking is to contact the credit card company and try to get a refund/credit through them. So now I have to go through all those receips and hope for the best. Ugh. Not a good way to do business. This is TIME INC, not some rinky dink operation.

  4. Christine Eslinger

Chris. Well this really is news to me especially when my subscription to the All You magazine was done through a school fundraiser and I know that two or three of my coworkers also order the All You Magazine during that fundraiser. I have been looking for my January issue all month and now I find out by looking online that they stopped publishing this magazine. So they receive my subscription order and I only receive two magazines the November and December. Shame on you for offering this magazine in a school fundraiser when you knew most likely months ago that you were going to discontinue this magazine. I loved this magazine it was just my size and it was filled with many great recipes and articles to relate to. I too never receive any letter explaining about my subscription and no offer to select a different magazine. I am deeply sad that this magazine is no longer in publication. I started buying the magazine from stores almost a year ago and like I said earlier it was just my size for my busy life. I am extremely disappointed that the All You Magazine is no longer being published.

  5. Jayne

I just got the Southern Living email/newsletter. I have heard nothing about any print replacement. I don’t particularly want Southern Living so I hope there are other options. I should learn my lesson about subscribing so far in advance. I have had this happen with a few magazines now (Budget Travel was one). Great deals, but in effect I end up paying a lot more for those 3 issues that I get before they go out of business!

    • MARYANN

Hey Jayne, same here, I don’t care much for Southern Living either. S.L. seems to focus into the ‘southern’ states i.e. South Carolina and Georgia – I really don’t feel that they address us ‘full-timers’ living in Florida. Florida is not all ‘snowbird’ country either – some of us live here year round. Too bad for ALL YOU – I’d rather subscribe to Woman’s World – it seems it’s a comparable magazine.

  6. April

I just happened to find out today that December was the last magazine being published. I pulled up the All You link to contact customer service to find out why I hadn’t received a copy for Jan or Feb, well NOW I know why. I was very surprised and they should be ashamed for offering their magazine for sale in schools and in their recent Holiday issues knowing that the magazine would be out of circulation. I had subscribed to this magazine for probably at least 5 years and sorry to see it go.

    • tanya hoovef

I didnt lnow they canceled kept trying to look things up couldnt find anything.I ordered through a school fundraiser as well as did many others i know of.I Want my money back!!!!!! Shame on you knowing you wete folding your business and offering it in a fundraiser.

  7. Yasmin bennett

I received no notice about the magazine ending.they sent me a renewal notice and I signed up for another year. how deceitful to knowingly keep sending notices if they were ending. I just tried finding a number to call and nothing. To bad great magazine.

  8. Fran

I called All You Customer Service, and they told me any future issues paid for (my subscription didn’t expire until Oct. 2016) will be added to a subscription for Southern Living magazine. I told them I already subscribe to Southern Living and wanted a refund for my All You issues I paid for that I won’t be receiving. They told me I will see in a few weeks that my subscription to Southern Living Magazine will be extended for the length of the All You subscriptions I have already paid for. This was on Jan. 14!! Still nothing.

  9. Dianne

I called and was told I’d be notified of what my replacement magazine choices would be. Never received anything and this week Cosmopolitan shows up in my mail. I’d prefer another magazine. My attempts to contact someone has been futile, only told by recording how to cancel 🙁

  10. Rose

Never received any advance notice it was shutting down. Have worked in publishing 30+ years. You ALWAYS notify your customers first. This is more than unprofessional. Calling customer service is a huge waste of time. It is for sure we’ll be offered something else we probably dont really want and it is a sure thing even that will get fouled up.

  11. Lynn

I sent them a check in the mail to renew my subscription for a year. They even mailed my free gift instead of sending my money back they had to know in Oct. What a poor way of doing business. I have no plans of renewing another magazine I take or taking on a new one after this experience.

    • JP

I paid my 3 year subscription by a check last January, and I’ve just noticed that now more new issue since last December. What the..
Glad to read other people’s comments here. I am going to call the customer service tomorrow since they owe me ~$33.00 for issues I won’t get. So horrible customer service!!

  12. Priscilla

I have been looking for my January issue and didn’t receive any notice about stopping this publication. Bad move and not a very good way to do business. I started getting a stupid Forbes magazine for no reason and I know o didn’t order this. I want my money back.

  13. Tammy Hoagland

I too paid for a 2 year subscription and only received 1 year, December being the last. Did not know that would be my last. Never received any notice. I would like a refund of some kind. Not a way to do business!!

  14. Bonny

I, too, am beyond livid at the way this magazine folded. People pay for subscriptions, but are not notified. Then they are given a magazine in it’s stead, that they may or may not want, as opposed to reimbursing them their subscription fee?

My gripe is a bit different. I took part in 2 promotions they had back in November, 2015, where I was to be rewarded a $5 Walmart gift card for purchasing Butterball Bacon from Walmart. I followed all of the directions to a T, keeping screenshots of each step. I never heard a word from them. The year before I had done a similar promo for Palmolive Dish washing soap & never heard a word. I did all I was asked to do for what appears to be a sham of some sort. Call me stupid for following the directions & taking the bait for another one of their OFFERS in November!

So disappointed that you put your trust in someone/something & are ignored.

  15. Lori J.

I too, just looked on the website to find out why I had not received my issue of AllYou. I am paid through February of 2017! I did not receive any notice in the mail about AllYou coming to an end. VERY disappointed and VERY bad way to conduct business. I have also NOT received an offer for an alternate magazine and doubt that I’ll get a refund!

  16. Cathy Carey

I just found out today that the magazine that I ordered through a school fundraiser has stopped publishing.I didn’t receive a notice of any kind. I tried calling any number that I could find but they are no longer in service, in fact this site is the first place that I found any real information so thanks for that. I guess I will have to wait for a while longer to see if this company will do the right thing and offer a choice of a refund or at the very least a choice of several good magazines and not the one’s that you wouldn’t order anyway. Really pissed but what else can I do.

  17. Susan

I am in the same boat as others who got mothing. I just found out today they are no longer publishing. It stinks how they are treating their customers.

  18. Ginger

I am right there with all the others, I had no idea they stopped publication. I went online to see if I could find out why I had not received my magazine and found out they went out of business in December. My subscription was also paid way ahead because I enjoyed the magazine. I just want a refund, I do not want a magazine that I’m not interested in. It is now February so you would think that a legitimate business would be taking care of the issues everyone has written about by now. I guess I’ll wait with the rest of you to see what happens.

  19. Kristi

I just called customer service. I was told that I should receive a card or email by the end of this month and I can either get a refund or choose another magazine. I have a feeling they only send out the email if you realize you aren’t getting the magazine and take the time to contact them. I renewed through a fundraiser too so paid up until 2018! I even went back and read the Editor’s letter in the December issue and there was no mention of it being the last one.

    • MARYANN

I’ve posted numerous times on this site, however, last night I located this email address for TIME, INC. regarding subscriptions. Not sure if TIME will respond, however, I did indicate to read this site posts – too many of us don’t know WTF is happening. Maybe some of you would like to send TIME an email, well here’s the email address:
      magazinereadermall@customersvc.com

GOOD LUCK & HOPEFULLY WE ALL GET SOME KIND OF RESPONSE!!

Before I even posted on here, I called a phone number on the ALL YOU site & that person gave me yet another number & this literally went on for 5 phone numbers. I had emailed numerous times before I tried calling as well. I wonder if they just went bankrupt or something financial & we are all just screwed. This has been my thought more & more frequently as I read yall’s posts. 🙁

  20. Jenni

Wow is all I can say. I guarantee you this company knew they were closing down and they should NOT have been able to take money for new or renewed subscriptions. Based on when they knew that they had made a decision to stop producing this magazine it borders closely to being illegal. That is a very low life business tactic. I just started my subscription for the first time in September and did so based on all of the wonderful recommendations written by website owners who said this was such a fabulous magazine full of coupons. Of course these websites also got $$$ for doing so when someone clicked on their link to set up a subscription. This was an awful magazine and there were almost NO coupons in the 4 issues I received, which of course was the opposite of what all of the people had said who were pushing others to get a subscription. This whole thing really leaves a bad taste in my mouth for multiple reasons. I also never received any kind of notice that they were ending this magazine.

  21. Lisa

Don’t expect to get your money back or receive anything from this company. Luckily I only paid 10.00 for a year subscription in Nov and of course I never received any indication they were closing. Pretty bad. I think everyone should get together and file a lawsuit. I just got of the phone with an Australian sounding person, who told me I was getting a notice in the mail telling me all about this”change”and that I was getting a different magazine, I didn’t choose. And he has no info as to when I would receive this or what magazine or how to get a refund. Sounds really fishy and like a big rip off to me.

  22. Lisa

Don’t expect to receive anything from this company. I just got off the phone with someone who sounded Australian or something and he couldn’t answer any questions I had. Like why haven’t we received anything telling us about this closure? I had just bought a subscription to it in Nov. and received nothing about this. But they sure took my money and won’t give me a refund. Told me im getting a”notice” about it in the mail and receiving a new magazine shortly. And that I need to be patient. He couldn’t give me any details about what magazine or when I should receive this notice or how to get a refund. Nothing! Sounds like a civil law suit coming, to me. I’m sure they will file banckrupt so they won’t have to pay us back.

  23. Marilyn MOrris

Ditto to all the comments above.. I contacted customer service about a month ago, and was told that I could cancel if I wanted to, to which I relied that no, I just wanted my refund for issues not received. (my subscription is paid up to April 2018.) I also was told that since I didn’t want to cancel, I would be getting a letter telling me what options I would have and that I could take care of the ‘problem’ then. I asked when I would be getting the letter, and the girl said “In a few days or a few weeks”. ??? A few days or a few weeks??? With all the comments about getting nowhere with customer service and/or getting replacement magazines they didn’t want or need, I doubt most of us will get nothing!

  24. Joyce

Here’s the *funny* thing- 2 days ago my ds1 brought home a band fundraiser- a magazine fundraiser. And yep, All You magazine is in it! Granted this catalog was probably printed months ago but they should have added a note that All You is no longer available. How many people are going to order a subscription?

Like you all, I have not received any notification or alternate magazine yet. My subscription is paid through April ’17. I happened to notice on another website that the magazine is no longer available & I did my own searching.

Thank you for contacting Magazine Customer Service.

All You is still evaluating the best way to process subscribers who may have issues remaining. Once a decision has been made, we will notify the customers who will be affected by this matter. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We hope that you have enjoyed the magazine. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kathleen, this (866- 212-9065) is one of the MANY numbers I called trying to get an answer, but you dont get an answer! Along with 800-635-1200 and 877-813-0320.

  26. Cat

Just realized hadn’t gotten the magazine last couple months. Like everyone else, got no notice
Called a number I found online when I went to the website. Was told that by March shouldget something in the mail with a list of magazines I can get in place of Allyou. Terrible way to conduct a business…

  27. Janice

I called on 2/2 and spoke to a foreign sounding Jane. Said I would get something in the mail in 7-10 business days regarding a refund. Nothing has been received. Called just now, talked to foreign sounding Susie. She said I will get a refund on my credit card in 7-10 business days. She did try to sell me other magazines which I wasn’t familiar with. I asked why nothing was done the first time I called and she said they have been getting too many calls. I called 1-866-212-9065 about 6:30 pm eastern time.

  28. Leslie Kim Marie Bock

This is the first I heard about it I’ve been digging and wondering why I wasn’t getting my magazine now where do I go from here I want a refund I dont want two different magazine

  29. Dorothy

Nothing about the magazine being cancelled in December. Found out about it when I pulled up the Magazine Customer Service to send an inquiry why I was not receiving my magazines. Where is a refund for the months remaining on my subscription?
From the other comments, looks like we are going to be shafted and not going to receive a refund or some kind of offer. Can’t get any satisfaction with telephone calls. Like getting a run around.

  30. Diane

It seems there is a common theme here. I called the customer service number for the magazine twice, only after realizing that I did not receive my Jan. issue.( I had paid up until Mar 2017 @ $1.66 per issue). Of course they told me that they were surprised that I wasn’t informed that Dec. 2015 would be the last issue & I was told that I would be receiving a letter in the mail very soon, stating that I could chose another magazine, or receive a refund. That was Feb. 3rd. After I called the 2nd time,(on Feb. 17th), the foreign sounding male told me that I would definitely be receiving the letter in the mail by the end of this month. It is now the end of the month, & I still have not received anything. I’m tired of getting the run around.

  31. cindylouwho68

I too just found out by searching for a customer service #. I talked to them and they said I will receive something in the mail within 2 weeks. I don’t think they’re sending it to everyone, only those that call, otherwise we all would have received something quite some time ago. Their toll-free customer service # is (866) 212-9065. I had paid up until May, 2017 and I loved this magazine. If interested in something comparable, First for Women is halfway decent also.

  32. tink109

My subscription to All You was valid until August 2018. I realized in the beginning of February that I hadn’t received anything since December and started looking online to see what was going on and came across this blog. I called (866) 212-9065 like the others and got representatives with heavy accents. Both times I called, I got the same runaround – that I would receive a voucher in the mail “soon” and that I couldn’t get a refund of my balance until I received the voucher in the mail and called them back. Both times I called, I was given a different time frame as to when the voucher would arrive and during the second call, I asked to be transferred to whichever department would be able to see my account and determine when my voucher would be mailed. The rep pushed back stating that there was no such department and I reminded him that the data to create the vouchers would have to come from somewhere. Since I was going nowhere with the rep, I advised him that I had a contract with Time, Inc. to supply me with a 3 year subscription to All You, that they had cashed that check and then decided to cancel the magazine. I reminded him that I was under absolutely NO obligation to accept another magazine and that it was Time, Inc. who had breached their end of the contract and not me. I let the rep know that I had the copy of the check, could show when it cleared, etc. and told him that when he was speaking with me that he wasn’t just speaking with a customer, but also with a clerk of the court. (I wasn’t lying and was fully prepared to file a lawsuit if necessary.) He said he would transfer me, but that “they” weren’t going to be able to help me either. I was then transferred to a woman without an accent who identified herself as an account manager and said that she would process the check for the remaining balance of my subscription. I made sure she confirmed the amount I was to receive and I was told that I should receive the check within 4 weeks. I received the check yesterday which was less than 3 weeks from my second call. My suggestion to everyone is to be persistent and don’t let them give you the runaround.

    • Bonny

This is great to hear, Tink! Good for you!!!

  33. Kristen bauer

I just spoke to them and they said that vouchers were sent out in February and to give them some time to get here..ok are they using the pony express? I got Nov issue but never December and here it is March and no voucher. It’s a bit ridiculous!

  34. Paula

I just realized today, while reading an older People Magazine that had an ad for AllYou, that I hadn’t received the magazine in recent months. I went online to search for a customer service number and I eventually found this site. I was shocked to read that the magazine had folded. I really enjoyed it and I believe I also still have issues remaining. This sucks! Very disappointing!!!!!

  35. michelle

Just called he said notice should come out I n 2
Weeks on how to transfer subxcription.I told him about reviews online he did care just kept saying he was sorry wait for notice. We will see. I n told him I was calling back in 2 weeks if I don’t get my notice. M

  36. Eileen DeLap

I only renewed in Oct 2015 for 2 years, I feel if they knew they were closing they should not have taken my money still waiting for information letter that was promised in February 2016 with my options, since it is now March I feel its very doubtful I will ever see a refund!!

  37. bonnie

Glad I found this blog. I too was wondering what happened to my All You magazines. Mystery solved. Lesson learned: never pre-pay for subscriptions or services in future. I know it sucks, but there have been gyms and other businesses that close or go bankrupt leaving customers screwed out of much more money. It could be worse.

  38. Cynthia Iannacci

I, like all of you, had a few years left on my subscription. I received NOTHING in the mail from anyone informing me that the last issue would be the December one. I had been looking for it in my mail and was wondering what happened. I even checked the book and magazine stores for and issue, but of course there was nothing. Is this how companies treat their customers?

  39. Brenda Zinkhon

I was wondering why I hadn’t gotten any since Dec. Tried Web site couldn’t log in. Wanted my account # well I’m screwed for the rest of my issues. I recycled mine so don’t have anymore. Bought that and Real Simple that magazine was so full of advertising I cancled it. Sad thing is I ordered from a girl scout. They said to contact them for my money back. Come on now how can I take money away from them?

    • Kara P.

I would be curious to hear from anyone that has actually received this ‘mythical’ letter offering us subscribers our choice of another publication or a refund. I hope if anyone here actually receives one they will post about it – I certainly will. I recycle my mags as soon as I’m done reading them, so I have no idea what my account # was nor how long I had left on my subscription. I feel like I was through this year though as I do remember renewing. Going forward I’m going to keep track of the magazines I receive, my account #s, and my subscription dates so I won’t be blindsided again.

  40. Di

I have got nothing but jerked around from All You. Time will not respond and if you call they just give you the phone number of the off shore “customer service” dept that’s supposed to be handling All You. My subscription was through May 2019. I have been told at least 6 times to be patient and I will receive options in the mail “soon”. I have been calling about every 2 wks since I was notified by email 1/14/16 they were discontinuing the magazine but my sister received nothing. One of the “friendly” people I spoke to about a month ago told me I could just cancel my subscription and receive nothing. I’m guessing that’s what they know will happen anyhow. I think they’re hoping people won’t realize it and let it go. I am ready to contact the attorney general for my state and file a complaint. I am disgusted the parent company Time Magazine is handling this in such a way. At least 3 of the times I called, the person who I talked to told me my magazine expired on a different date that what it is supposed to AND I might add are they going to compensate for the months we’re missing by them failing to act since the last magazine was published? At least 4 issues have lapsed since Dec was the last and magazines mail early. It is now mid March. I’m sure this will not have a good outcome. I will give it one more phone call in about a week and then I’m going to the attorney general for my state, the bbb and the ftc. It’s the principal of the thing. Time is a huge company and knew they were shutting this down months ago so they should have had plan “B” ready. I wonder how many people out there were never notified and don’t realize this magazine is no longer being printed. I encourage everyone who wants to pursue this to contact the attorney general for their state, the ftc and bbb to file a complaint. Magazine rip offs are so common there are special divisions that deal with them. There is also a website for Time I registered a complaint with
    https://www.magcustomerservice.com/wss/home.do#top

This is the email I received back in January. It only told me the magazine was going away and I would receive a “newsletter” on the internet from Southern Living. Hardly something I would pay magazine rates for and when I called I was told Southern Living magazine was not an option I could receive as a substitute.

    Dear Subscriber,
If you haven’t heard, All You and their newsletters are going away. Not to worry, though! You will still receive weekly newsletters featuring budget-friendly recipes, fun how-to videos, home decorating ideas, and easy gardening tips — not to mention giveaways! Southern Living magazine will ensure that you get everything (and more!) that you have come to expect from All You.
Your first newsletter from Southern Living will arrive soon. You can choose to unsubscribe at any time (but we hope you won’t!).

Enjoy your new Southern Living newsletter!

  41. Sam

This news makes me very sad. This was one of the best magazines out there. Unfortunately, the stores here in Rochester did not display it well!!!! I always had to look for it!!! I just LOVED that magazine.

  42. Marne

I just finished reading my December issue and realized I hadn’t gotten any new ones. I found the link, near the back of the magazine, to contact All You. I tried allyou.com/customerservice and it didn’t work. I typed in All You and got this message: “We are sorry to inform our readers that the December 2015 issue of ALL YOU will be the final issue. We want to thank you for your loyal readership and support. If you have any questions, please call Customer Care at 1-866- 212-9065.” So I called and the phone was answered by a lady with an India accent. I had to give her my customer #, it’s the number on your label between the 2 # signs. I was told I could choose a different magazine, I don’t want a different magazine! I had to give her my email address. She said if I had paid with a credit card I would get a refund in 7 – 10 days and if I paid with a check it would be 2 – 3 weeks for a refund. I had just renewed my current subscription through a fundraiser at my daughters school last March, that put me as a subscriber through July 2017. I NEVER got a post card or anything in the mail saying what was going on. I don’t want Southern Living. I live in the North – ha ha! Thanks, Di about the ideas to contact the attorney general for your state, the BBB, and the FTC and file a complaint, GREAT idea!

    • Marne

Good news!! I got my refund check in the mail on Saturday, 3/19. That only took 10 days! I was VERY happy to get it after all of the comments from others on here I wasn’t very confident I would get anything.

      • Sue Urban

Had you contacted them for a refund?

        • Marne

Yes! I had contacted them this month (March) after I realized I hadn’t been getting any new magazines, that last one I had gotten was Dec. 2015. I had a subscription through July of 2017!

  43. Leslie Neufeld

I WANT MY ALL YOU MAGAZINE! ! I’M PAID UP FOR 2 YEARS AND RECEIVED 1 ISSUE ONLY!! THAT IS A RIP OFF!! LOOKS LIKE A SCAM TO GET ONE TO PAY FOR THEIR BANKRUPTCY LAWYERS TO ME!! I JUST WANT MY 30 DOLLARS BACK!!! OR MAYBE WE NEED TO START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM SINCE IT SEEMS NONE OF US WERE NOTIFIED OF THEIR CLOSING DOWN!! THAT’S JUST FREAKIN WRONG AND WHERE I COME FROM, IT’S KNOWN AS THIEVING!! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE!!!

  44. Beverly

I too was not notified about anything. I was just going to order a 2 year subscription from our local school and I tried to go on the website to find out when mine would expire. That’s when I see they aren’t publishing any more. I think they should have notified everyone. No way to do business.

  45. BARBARA PINSON

I have not heard of them closing either. The last magazine I received was DECEMBER 2015. I just sent them a check for $20.00 dollars for oneYR. plus a gift for my mom for one year. PLUS they owe me till August 2016 before the next year subscription even starts.(TOTAL 1 YR. 8 MONTHS) I have called them every month and they keep saying I will get something in the mail in 2 WEEKS!! It has been 12 weeks now. They have never offered me another magazine or a refund. Will call them again to ask for my refund. Next step will be the attorney General!!

I can’t believe the Dec. issue was the final one. I have gotten no notification whatsoever from the company saying that fact, either. Guess I will try the customer service number and see how far I get with calling them. I’m “in” financially through Dec. 2017. Dang.

I’ve just read through all your comments. Put me in the category of “those who didn’t get any notice” that the magazine was ceasing publication. I had just recently realized that I hadn’t gotten a magazine in a long time. My subscription was paid through December 2016 and I haven’t seen anything offering me a substitute – no email, no mailed notification, and certainly no refund.

Not only was I never notified, i accidently found out when inquiring about my expiration this summer DUE TO A CATHOLIC SCHOOL FUND RAISER NOTICE I RECEIVED TODAY WITH IT LISTED AS AN OPTION TO PURCHASE.

March 16, 2016 – I just called All You magazine customer service because I had only ever received ONE magazine (Nov. 2015) and was told that they are no longer in production. I was surprised as I never received any notice. I asked if I would be getting a replacement subscription and the rep “Francis” told me that I would be getting a refund (in my case, I only paid about $5 for the subscription) and that it should be processed within 7 to 10 business days. The number I called: 866-212-9065. It is right on page 2 of the November issue. Hope this helps!
