Be sure to register your kiddos now as spots tend to fill up quickly! If you’ve never attended one of these free Kid’s Clinics, check out my previous experience here.
And don’t forget about these upcoming Home Depot Kids Workshops! On Saturday, November 7th, kids can build a FREE Veterans Day Jet AND on Saturday, November 28th, kids can build a FREE School House Bank. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered at all Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM.
(Thanks, Coupons are my Currency!)
Thanks for the reminder! I enjoy doing these with my niece! 🙂
Oh cool! You are so welcome!
For the Lowes workshop, does the child have to be a certain age?
I think it says 5 years old, but we have been taking my daughter since she was 2.5 years old. They are not strict on age at all. We definitely help her more, but she loves it!
Yes they changed the rules a few months ago strictly 6 years old and up! And 6 by the registration date not event date (I had to change my sons bday who turned 6 a week before an event but after registration date said too young )
This may be true for your store, but we’ve been registering and taking our now 3 year old since she was 1 and have never had issues registering her or building with her at Lowes. I even just registered her for this one and had no problems.
We made this a year ago and it’s a really good workshop toy!!
Oh awesome! Thanks for your feedback! Good to know 😉
My son is 3 and has been going. There is no age limit posted anywhere on the page. Home Depot actually says 5 and older.
Thanks for sharing Danielle.
I took my 2 year old when they did the fire truck (guess it was back in 2014) and got funny look but after that, they were very sweet! I messed up the wheels and they gave me another kit to do at home! Seen other young kids there too! My child still plays with the fire truck a year later (without the wheels) so yes, I signed my child up for the car!! Lowes hasn’t specified a age range, Home Depot has so I don’t go there for these!
I’ve never had a problem with home depot and age my 2 year old loves going and painting they don’t seem to care
Oh how sweet! Thanks for sharing your experience Nicole!
Thank you for reminding me!
You’re welcome!
Thank you! We had a great time building the fire truck in September.
