Boise store?
I haven’t seen the Caroline doll at the Boise store, but I have seen the Bitty baby set and the Pet house set pictured. I shop at Costco a few times a week as well, lol, so am pretty good at spotting the new stuff that comes in. Hoping we get them! I have two year old twins and I’d like to grab them and stash them away for next year’s bday.

I love Costco! They have a lot of AG stuff. Once I bought the Grace mini doll with 2 books for only 24.99! They save you a lot of 💲
This doll is being retired at the end of 2015, so if you’re interested in getting one > Go get it!!! 🙂 I bought the doll in September at an AG store as a result of my daughter panicking that it was being retired in a couple of months.

If you do the gift card deal at Costco, it is like you are getting a full size doll at an American girl doll store for 95 dollars. So just as great of a deal…unless you don’t have a store near you…or unless you cant find caroline a regular store.

Why the craze about this doll, someone fill me in please. My daughter will be 2yo in a couple of weeks so I’m not familiar yet with these thing.
The price IS ridiculous, I know! However, the quality can’t be beat. We have AG dolls and other 18″ dolls from WalMart and a Madame Alexander. The one from WalMart quickly broke…the leg fell off and it’s impossible to snap back on. I exchanged it and told the kids not too move the arms and legs. Well, after a few months of nice, gentle play, that one broke too. The hair and eye quality are noticeable differences as well. Also, AG has a whole world of adorable accessories, movies, books and stores with restaurants where you can dine with your doll…any little girls dream!! We have a combo of items from AG, Target and Zulily. Target has the most adorable kitchen set and horse stable!! Just look for items for an 18″ doll.
I just called my St Louis Park MN store and they still have the gift cards!
I will make that a stop tomorrow for sure!
I work at the Costco in Maple Grove, MN and when I left work on Monday afternoon we still had a bunch of the gift cards left too. I haven’t yet seen the Caroline doll unless it came in yesterday or today. 🙂

You don’t have to have a membership if you know someone who does have one and will purchase a Costco gift card for you. The gift card will get you in the store. You will have to pay cash or use any Amex card for any amount over the gift card. I give my adult kids who don’t have a membership $10.00 gift cards so they can go in and look around.
Orlando costco carrying caroline?
Does anyone know the closest Costco to Vancouver, WA that has this? I called both of ours and Portland, OR and no one had them. I’d love the gift cards and/or the Caroline doll! We only have the puppies.

Costco in South Hackensack has Caroline for 99.00 and they have all the small version dolls with books for 39.99 most of the dog pets and the American Girl buy the cards 4 for 79.99 worth 100.00 gift cards.

Anyone purchase this doll from Costco? I did and one of the white gloves does not fit. It appears the doll has one hand that is bigger than the other. I did try the gloves on another AG doll and they appear to fit just fine. Was this doll sold at Costco just a knock off of sorts?? Wondering what to do.
